What keeps me going? A lot of things actually. As you have read I was a fat kid up until I lost the weight when I was 17. I have kept the weight off for 5yrs [until I got pregnant] and I was so healthy and very active. After I had the baby I felt so unhealthy and out of shape [which I was… both] I looked at pictures of when I was healthy and thin and in shape. I was happy. At this point I wasn’t happy. Im the kind of person where if im unhappy about something, in this case my weight… than I will do everything and anything to change it. I knew I lost weight when I was 17 and I could do it again. I missed feeling healthy and active and wanted it back and that’s what keeps me going everyday. Another thing is I want to be hot for my BF [lol] I want to be the “Hot GF again”… I was once the hot girlfriend. His friend even told him and his buddies that I was hot… until I got pregnant. Needless to say my BF told me this when I was at my fattest and 8months pregnant. It hit me hard. I won’t eat away my unhappiness though because [obviously] that will only make it worse. I love how much more feeling of Life I have when I eat healthy and workout. It keeps me going. Everyday.
Man… I was dragging yesterday! I hate Mondays. Seriously. I felt like I was dragging ass all day yesterday. I still went to the track yesterday though. I ran 4 laps [1 mile.. not all at once though. I was doing my circuit training]. 3 sets on the bleachers and 2 laps of interval training and than stretched. I was SOOOOO damn tired when I got home. Usually I am full of energy after a workout but I felt like falling on my face and going to sleep. I think that was my body’s way of saying “Hey dumbass im tired”. I guess because on the weekends I usually don’t workout [those are my resting days] and I mainly just hang around the house but this weekend as I posted previously I cleaned ALL day Saturday and Sunday I went running. We had a yummy dinner last night though. Grilled boneless/skinless chicken breast with whole grain rice pilaf and steamed broccoli. After we got the baby to bed [around 8pm] HA guess where I went? To bed! As soon as I hit the sheets I was out.
Im feeling more energetic today. Maybe cause I got a lot of sleep last night. Im not going to the track today though, im going running at home. Oh and I might add this morning before work I put on a shirt that I used to wear before I got pregnant. I had tried it on after having the baby but ya, it wasn’t working. I had really bad backfat [the shirt is kind of form fitting] and my belly was waaaay to big still. Well this morning NO BACK FAT! Its all gone! I still have some more toning to do in my back but the gross amounts of back fat I got while pregnant are completely gone! My belly still sticks out a bit but it’s a LOT smaller than it was the last time I tried this shirt on. So… I am wearing a pre-pregnancy shirt today
BFast: 1 serving [1 cup] of Kashi Honey Almond Flax cereal with 1 cup [actually half a cup cause we ran out of milk lol] of Fat Free organic milk.
