Hi Jennifer, nice to meet ya :) Hopefully you don't go away too long again :) A daycare, you have patience my friend.:D I substitute for a daycare here when needed - I don't think I could do it everyday. Welcome back :)

Kate here, wanted to extend my hand and re welcome you. Im a mom in her forties too, and if that pic is you in your forties, Im floored! Good lord, does Canada's water have something special in it? Here I thought I looked young for my age, and now this. *sigh*

Oh ya ready to kick some cellulite butt!!!!!!!!

OK I need a new scale ,,,apparently I weigh 110lbs,....well perhaps my left side. So will get one. Which might be a little distrubing as home scales usually range a bit, but no worry as long as Ihave something consistent to weigh on.


That pic is of me at 39, but I havent really changed much,,...hair a bit blonder. I am lucky good skin runs in the family....my grandma is 93 and looks about 65, hardly any wrinkles...but hey we have thick ankles so there ya go ,,,lol

So yes this motivation to loose weight has come around with making a few other changs in my life. IT so easy to stop paying attention when there is so many other demands in your life. I will get into that later

water (just remember I have to beef that up again)
melba toast and some grapes small slice of low fat cheese

slim fat

spicey chciken and a 1/2 cup fo rice

Hi Jennifer! I'm so glad you are back. I had read some of your journal months ago when I was deciding to join and it really inspired me. I was bummed you weren't on anymore because you seem like a great lady! I'm glad you are back and here to give and receive support. Don't worry about pounds gained. We all know how it is. It's nice to see your smiley Avatar around. Have a great day!
 
oh thank you so much Missjelly (cute name). I am the type of person if I dont focus my whole being on weigh loss and getting to the gym on a regular basis I will gain weight, just way too easily.
However I feel motivated again and am willing to do this for the rest of my life,
 
Ahahahahahahahhaa! Slim-Fat! Gosh, I missed you, Jen! Looks like you're off to a great start.

Oh, and about the scale--I got my fancy new digital scale and I tried to weigh myself on the carpet-that shaves about 50 pounds off! I was all about it, but then my roommate tried and the scale said she was 68 pounds (she's really 120.) It was worth a good laugh...until I brought the scale out on the hard floor and it told the truth! :eek:
