Ohhhh geeeez ,...the first week,..always the hardest, always the hunrgiest,..but dont really now what I want to eat....maybe a cheesburger. ROFLMAO...ok a tuna salad I mean.

Breakfast: bran flakes, apple, coffee

snack water melon

lunch tuna salad

snack cracker and sm piece cheese

dinner: big salad and quiche,...didnt eat the crust though

water water water.


going to the gym tonight...wednesday!

LOL @ scrappy,...you know me too well girl!!!!!!!! But hey it was good.

I did my gym thing last night, yea me.

Today was good food wise...no screw ups...No gym, but out with kids

I have come to realize the gym is my friend..I miss it,..it makes me feel good, breathe clear and walk tall,..then why do I slack off?

goals ( i should rewrite mine)
Good supportive buddies ( you gals)
Gym membership
sense of humour
some old fat pants to see how far you have some
some skinny pants to realize how fat your ass still is (well not too skinny of a pant as you dont want to hurt your own feelings) Boo HOO HOO

you have SUCH a great sense of humor =) thanks for always keep us on a light note and your wonderful encouragement...

you are also doing great with your food choices... and I completely understand how you feel about the gym being your friend... I honestly don't know why I hated running so much in high school - oh wait - because I was overweight and couldn't run as fast as everyone else - it made me feel so self-conscious and terrible. But I have started doing it on my own, and I feel healthier, am more energized, and I look great! But I am also like you, in that I slack off and don't do it as much as I should... it is just so hard to get out of bed some mornings - but when I do - it is SO worth it!!!
 
I think its a great idea to rewrite your goals, and I should do the same. We're in the same boat, yes? Maintaining but not losing. You're so great!
 
Funnky I was at a plateau,..and then I ate a steak , and then some potato salad and then had a wine cooler ot two was sporadically working out and I gained like 18 lbs or so...ooopssss! My thyroid went a lil off so that contributed to it,..but bloody hell,..I either have NOOOOOOO self control or the gym does me wonders.

So anyway I have 10 of the 18 off...so now about 8lbs over my skinniest moment from a few months back. I find it easier to loose weight in the winter,..like who wants to sweat on purpose in the summer????, and well I love the BBQ,..it is my down fall, and love to entertain,..and that always means food.

So new goals!!!!! In the beginning like 75 lbs ago I gave myself goals of 25lbs to loose. Now that the weight is harder to come off I think goals of 5 lbs would be good. I need to to this slow and steady so I dont put it back on.

I want to eat healthy, have a few fun choices and work out,..this for me will be realistic forever.

I am 205 now and to be 175 by Dec 23 my 40th birthday is the goal, That would take me out of the overweight range on the BMI,....I am a tall gal. 5' 9.5"

6 goals of 5lbs. with 3.5 months to do it...hmmmmm perhaps too quick...but hey ya never know. By the end of September I would like to be 199.
 
Ahhh I love you ladies, simply the best.

Why is everytime I get serious about loosing weight I get a cold,...its like my body goes into shock. Anyway started on Thursday night the worst by Saturday morning, and now on the mend. My food choices have been good,..soup and tea (comforting for colds), but I have been kinda inactive. Resting a lot, come Monday I need the energy.

WEIGH IN DAY TOMORROW!!!!!!!!!
 
Jennifer --- Hope you feel better soon! I'm with you on that hating to sweat when it's hot outside. Love exercising when it cools down. Sounds like you are doing really well. Keep it up!
 
Not a cold! Ugh, that sucks. When I first started dieting I got sick, the flu I think. Maybe when we hop back on the wagon our immune system gets a little confused, and accidentally makes us sick...maybe just to give us a chance to eat nothing but toast and soup, to shrink our stomachs. Hey, I think I'm onto something!

Hope you're feeling better!
 
Ah man colds suck. as soon as the kids start school the sickness starts lol then were all sick until...july :p good luck to you on your weigh in day!! :)
 
Yea weigh in day was good,..lost three lbs.

However my neighbour brough tover homemade fresh donuts,..I wasnt going to have one,..but I picked at one and picked at one,..until my husband said "does eatig it in small bites off of the plater have less calories than sitting down with a coffee and really enjoying it.

ya know he is right,..I do this thing were like if I bake cookies I wont have one,..but I will pick at the one that is kinda burnt like since its a reject cookie it wont count in calories. Its just as many calories as the nice pretty unburnt one.

Ok didnt not make it to the gym...still really fatigued although cold is almost gone. I had so much stuff left over from the weekend that needed to be done and the girls had ballet tonight so by the time I got them dinner, homework checked , bedtime, laundry away, lunches blah blah blah it was like 9:30 almost 10:00 pm...
So I am think that Tuesday Thursday and once on the weekend will be better days to go to the gym.

breaky: fruit salad,

snack yogurt with frozen strawberries

Lunch: slim fast, wasa cracker

Dinner: rice with prawns and shallops yellow and green beans/

Los of water, but should have more throughout the day
 
Lmao i do that too, like evening out the cake slice or eating the crooked reject cookies..they dont count they were a dud :p ah yes and the sneaking a bite of food of the kids plate lol

Congrats on the weight loss!!!3lbs is awesome!! :)
 
yup, I'm a fan of misfit sweets, if they dont look right, they dont count as much! Oh well, at least it was worth a try.... I'm glad your H brought it to your attention so you can bring it to ours!!!!! ;)
