Jennifer's diary

HI Jade...thanks for posting in my diary...read yours last night welcome to the forum.

As for your question about the protion....I dont really portion control my salads,...I make sure I get satisfied.

Protien no larger than the palm of my hand. And pretty much everything else I go on a calorie count...being doing this so long that I can hit inbetween 1200 to 1500 with good accuracey. I figure this is a lifestyle change no a diet,..so I do have my cheats here and there and that is realistic to maintain. I guess what I am trying to say,..I am just using personal judgement,...if I weighed and counted everything I would find it quite a task...I like things simple

you know what i agree, especially the part about you taking a lifestyle change i like that approach. "diet" just sounds too restricted, i am free and i dont deprive myself but i refuse too eat rice and bread i am a sucker for it and i unfortunately have too quit. i still plan on eating pasta, but overall im enjoying my " lifestyle change" LOL jennifer good to have you back on track and thanx for the advice

The day care is going well,...I really need to get some pics up...I will I will. I will have full enrolment by the end of the month ( as all the licensing will be compete and I can have more kids)....I have three part timers now,..but that is good transition for my kids, sharing mommy, and getting my two year old onto a really structured schedule. I run it more like a lil preschool, a theme each month, circle time, calendar, art and crafts, nap time, letter and color week....I love doing this. I worked in government for 15 years (child protection) so this is a much happier job.
Perhaps we can share ideas sometime.

I'm so glad you're enjoying your daycare. It'll be super cool when you get the license and everything up and running. And of course you're doing awesome with your eating as usual. :)

The day care sounds like it is going well! I'm sure that this job is much happier than child protection. How many children will you have at "capacity?"
I would LOVE to share ideas!
I have only a few weeks left of preschool. Our preschool program is over the end of May. I'm going to miss those kids!
I'm not sure what I'll be doing next year. Who knows? Maybe I'll be opening a day care in my basement! :)

Watching kids is a huge job! When you tell people you "babysit" or have a daycare, they think its easy, they have no idea. If it was not for the part-time kids I watch after school I would have NO exercise!
You are doing awsome as usual Queen Jennifer!
Im glad to see you back, have truely missed you! Computers can get the best of us huh? :)
