I'm so wired even though I'm EXHAUSTED.. Make any sense? It's almost 2AM here..

Got a steroid shot in hip/bobo around 6:30PM ... Then went to walgreens to get rest of prescriptions.

Must be the steroids?

I have really bad sinus infection and bronchitis confirmed. Drinking decaff coffee now..Makes my chest/sinus area feel better... Tried to sleep and couldn't..

My weigh in was 187.0 again, so I maintained.. Maybe I had a loss though...? hard to tell bc it is dreaded tom time.... :rolleyes:

Plus, lots of sodium with soup 'n crackers...AND....I drink a lot of 7up when sick...Makes me feel better...It's comforting. My Mom and Nannie always gave me 7up when sick..

I LOVE - LOVE Milk but they always said no milk bc that makes mucus worse and congestion worse.....I'm strange and have a few quirks. I have to drink milk with soups, sandwiches and desserts.
Just how I am.. Guess that's why they made me drink 7up..?

Okay, I have just realized I'm truly rambling a bunch of crazy stuff... :leaving: ...Gonna write a bio on my milk drinking habits...

Think I might be gettin' a little kick from my coffee syrup with codeine...

Brrr, rest up and get well soon hon! Don't go running around high on meds just because of some holiday, pretty sure your guys are happy eating normally with you relaxed and healing.

Stacy...what happened to you my darling?? I was away for a few days and you got sick again?!? Nooo, I hope you feel better soon honey. Please take care of yourself...drink WATER, have tons of fruits and rest. I know you are high on energy but try to take it easy...sending you my love and prayers. Oh, and hopefully you will be all good by Thanksgiving!! ;-)

PS: Soup and Milk?!? Did I read that right?!? hahaha...only you...then again, who am I to say anything...I eat steak with my desert (ice cream, crème brulle, anything sweet...you name it...it tastes better with a tri-tip steak, ahhahaha)

I'm hanging in there... This kinda crud really knocks me on my butt! Plus, I always have a bad reaction to predisone... Makes me go through horrible insomnia. So, hear I am sick, coughing, exhausted, stuffy and just yuck and then can't even rest.. :toetap05:

Man, I miss my energy and my FITNESS!
Once all well it will be back to the drawing board and starting all over AGAIN! Makes me want to just scream! :cuss:

My first week of fitness will kick my butt and I'll be so sore..Especially after TG Food/Treats.. :svengo:

hahahahaha! That will be a scary weigh in!

Just trying to focus on the most important thing right now...GET WELL... :waving:

Busy-busy, but I'm managing. The key is to take A LOT of rest breaks from all the chopping/baking... So much to chop for the cornbread dressin' tomorrow and today I'm chopping/making the cold salads (pea salad and potato salad) Baking Today: Minny's Chocolate Pie (from the Help) and Paula Deen's Pumpkin Gooey Cake.. That has become a TG and C-Mas Staple on the dessert table!

I did it! Got everything made/prepped yesterday! Only have to cook the pineapple ham and cornbread dressin' now.. :hurray:

We are havin' actual TG "Dinner" tonight bc of hubby's crazy hours on Wed... Didn't get home until early morning TODAY...

Let me tell ya, I have been through the ringer! :svengo:

When I went MIA around here, I was having major vision problems! I was having these creepy "Kaleidoscope" type episodes where out of no where I couldn't see anything but the episode; "Kaleidoscope" full of bright colored shapes and fast moving lines and rotating movement with them... it would last about 15 minutes. The first night this happened my son had to call 911 for paramedics bc it gave me such a massive panic attack bc I was so shocked/scared - didn't know if my BP was thru the roof (fixin' ta have heart attack or something), and so on... :ack2:

They did everything..Checked blood sugar, BP - the works... I was fine... BP was up some bc of panic attack..

The episodes continued each night.... Didn't go to ER bc they only lasted 15 minutes and as most people know......If you do not have good ins you cannot afford to go to ER bc you know with something like this they are going to run the most expensive tests. I still have the sinus infection/bronchitis as well so I felt that had a lot to do with episodes and I was on an antibiotic I had never been on before..

The antibiotic/predisone both state "vision problems" could occur.

During all this it was like I was on speed/crack as well bc some days/nights I was up over 24 hours... Major insomnia... Also mentioned in "side effects."

So, LMBO :smilielol5: with my already issues re: OCD/Chemical imbalances - I have been just MISERABLE!

I finished the meds thank gosh and they are finally out of my system.. I slept well for the first time in 2 weeks... NOW, major catch up is needed around house, errands and so on...

Gonna see if I can knock out the remaining sinus infection/bronchitis with OTC meds/herbs/treatment now...

I was so shocked that I only went up .4 after TG! :party:

Since then, I have been maintaining since I have not been able to exercise of course.

**Sigh** :rolleyes: When I'm able to start exercise again it's gonna kick my tail!

Back to the drawing board! lol

I look forward to catching up in all of your journals soon!
