Here I am! Rock you like a Hurricane (hehe)

I'd say "what the hell is wrong with him that he doesn't want to seal the deal?"

I understand the pain of fostering. We foster dogs and cats sometimes, and the dogs are hard on my wife and the cats are hard for all of us. The last time we fostered it was four kittens, and they were super cute.
But it is a good thing you are doing.

And you look really amazing in that photo. Both cute and hot - not many people can pull off both at once.
You can really see how your hard work is paying off.

hey mel, don't let the wedding thing bug you too much. I think you asking about it ruins the possible surprise when he actually wants to do it. you and i both know you're a catch and a half, so don't think its you for one minute. Congrats on getting the pup a new home. I't always sad to see something you love go away, even if it is for the best! rock out today on your workout! i'll be counting on you. You may haven't got to my journal yet, but i'm giving up carsio machines for a couple week.s strait old running is my plan these next two weeks so wish me luck. i'm trying to get faster! i want to have a 16 min 2 mile run lol.

O.M.G....! You are looking so good! You are soooo beautiful! I absolutely love your pics from Vegs and your measurements are such an accomplishment!

I totally agree with Cord.. you don't have the problem, your BF does... trust me, I dated my husband for 5 years before he finally decided HE was ready... women are always ready, whereas men aren't. He just can't commit right now.

I am so proud of you! You are an amazing spirit and a beautiful woman. I hope to look as good as you someday!!

Love ya girlie!

Hey Cord, Bansheebee, Clare, etc... thanks for all your thoughts and view points. I really do need to relax and take the pressure off about the marriage thing... i think the weddings just get me thinking and then i start spouting off frustrations and BOOm......

plus it was a rough weekend with the puppy thing, and all the stress and things going on..... but its going to be ok!!!! :)

and i am back to the gym and trying to get my butt in gear. i am racking my brain trying to figure out how to jump start my weightloss again... ANY THOUGHTS!!!!?!?!?!?!?!?!

Was really pissed yesterday because on Friday I was down to 125 for my weight… yesterday I was 127.4 or something stupid. WTF… will I ever get over this hump!?!?!?!?! Its getting super frustrating. At least im not gaining weight over and over… its just those two fluctuating pounds from 125-127 lately… but its really making me MAD

I know how you feel M.

It really sucks to work your ass off just to find out that you are stuck at the same level. But one thing I have learned is that you will have these days, and in the long run you will over come the hump. Usually happens to me unexpectedly.

Like I was with the 180 mark. I floated around that thing for 6 weeks. Somewhere between 178 and 183. Then out of nowhere I was at 175. As you have told me on many occations. Don't beat yourself up, it will come. You have work to hard to get this far to worry about small set backs.

Hey there girlie!! :grouphug:..You'll get there....don't worry!!!.:iagree:!..You are looking amazing!!...I've been with my bf for 4.5 years as well...and we just started talking about marriage a couple months back...for like a week..and that was that!...

...Happiness overall is what counts...and I think they do want to seal the deal...just they aren't ready...PSH!...In the end, it all works out for the best...

...I met the cutest couple the other day...OLD and CUTE....40 years together..and STILL not married. No need to. And they were holding hands and he gave her a wink. It was cuteeeeeeeeee as hell and I figured WHAT THE HELL...that's LOVE! :beating:!
.....a ring won't make or break that!....It's what you already have...but I hear ya on the committment thing. ;)!....GIMME THE FREAKIN RING ALREADY..:D! hahah!

....You are doing AMAZING time as well on your miles!! Impressive! Great work at beating your partner!!...Way to show em...who's BOSS!! ;)!!

Good Morning!
Yesterday was a decent day overall. Food intake was pretty good.

Highlight of the day: I was totally craving a meal made at a restaurant… since I was feeling super lazy after working out yesterday….. but instead we made homemade grilled chicken salads that I had total control over portions and added nonsense calories.
Downfall of the day: Iced Caramel latte at 8:30pm……. Yeah there was really no need to have that sugar in my system that late at night… and I had JUST eaten… so a large ice water would have been just fine. Plus… that was an added 220 calories for NOTHING…. AND 34 grams of sugar… HOLY FREAKIN COW. So I will be stepping away from the late night coffee addiction I have developed the last 2 weeks.

Food intake for 8/25
Breakfast: Jimmy Deans lite turkey sausage bowl (230 calories), 2 cups of coffee w/ cream and splenda
Lunch: Pasta ( whole wheat) w/ tomato sauce
Snack 3pm- 90 calories worth of special k Italian tomato crackers
Snack 7:30pm- 2 plan crackers with PB on top
Dinner 8pm- Salad w/ grilled chicken breast, walnuts, craisins, feta/bleu cheese, 2tbsp of greek dressing ( low cal)
Snack 8:30- iced caramel latte (220 cal, 34 g of sugar HOLY MOLY)

My gym session for the day was minimal… tried to take it easy because I was really swore for some reason. I did a 2 mile jog/run at a pace of 6.5 for the first mile, and 7.5 for the second mile. Then I did a brisk walk at 4.0 and incline of 13.5

I then did my weighted side bends to work my love handle area…. They are on that incline stand that you bend forward, to the left side, to the right side, and then repeat two more times for 3 total rotations.
Then I did do my crunches and called it a night.

I need to get MOVING with watching my foods again….. just seeing the latte on paper from last night….. ugh. Not cool. Plus I have been drinking WAY TOO MUCH coffee. I need to cut back… asap!

How is everyone!!! :Angel_anim:

i'm doing great, just have yet to update my journal with today's workout! you seem to be steady eddy on the workouts and have i only wish to have a 7.5 mph pace lol. i'm just gald to see your cheerful self back in here to keep me honest! lol

Hellooo!

Hey girl, what's up?

"Was really pissed yesterday because on Friday I was down to 125 for my weight… yesterday I was 127.4 or something stupid. WTF… will I ever get over this hump!?!?!?!?! Its getting super frustrating. At least im not gaining weight over and over… its just those two fluctuating pounds from 125-127 lately… but its really making me MAD"

This made me crack up because I know what you mean. Not lately (sigh) but I remember back to when I weighed 140 pounds and I would check every morning to make sure the needle was exactly on 140, I would get so upset if it was 141 or 142. Which seems to other people to be "only two pounds, whats the big deal" but man, when you work so hard to take it off, its frustrating. Just remember - its only two pounds. :D. Just keep thinking long term. If you are still 127 a few weeks/months from now, that will actually still be really awesome since one of the hardest parts of weight loss is maintaing and not going back up. And if you're still needing to lose the two pounds then, you can try a new workout, or something to break you out of your plateau. Keep up the good work, girl!

Hey cuteness!

I fell off the tracking thing too, I'm back on now as of last night. Hey ya gotta start somewhere right?

The side bends, are they on a roman chair?

Yeah I gotta do something about my coffee intake too, it isn't healthy, but dammit, tough habit to break...

Anyway, just saying hey!

If he has made it clear to you he wants to marry you and he has been committed to you in all other ways then I say you don't have anything to worry about except for the waiting at this point. When I was dating my wife all through college we both made it clear that we wouldn't get married until we were both graduated. She graduated two years before me though and it had been a total of 5 years since we started dating. I sensed she was getting anxious and I didn't want to lose her so I had to ask her a little earlier than I had planned and then we had to wait two more years to get married. It made for a long engagement but it turns out she was thinking the same things you were thinking like "when is he ever going to ask?" Hopefully your BF just wants it to be perfect like I did, but hopefully like I did he also realizes the important thing is to just propose already! LOL :D

P.S. Looking good still. ;)

ugh.. colds suck!

Hit the Gym this morning around 8am... did 2 miles at a 6.5-6.8 pace and then walked at an incline of 15 speed of 3.5-4.0
Took it a little easy due to the respiatory system being understress with my severe cold... but it really felt great to be on the treadmill again! it actually cleared my nasal passages right up... which was awesome! I did do some circut training as well today.... 3 sets of 15 which was also a good feeling after my few days off from working out.

Food intake has been decent... especially since i cant taste anything.. i dont really have any junk food cravings!!! lol I do have "post nasal drip" running down the back of my throat.... hmmmm anyone know the calories content of SNOT.... :ack2:

ahahahhahahahaha:hurray:

Im not sure.... are roman chairs something you stand on??? This thing has pads in the front that you lean on when you are standing on an incline like thing and you lean over it forward, then place your hip against the pad and lean over it side ways and so forth....

Patience is something i do not have alot of... i need to work on that. I think my secret fear is that i am waiting around for him... and 'what if' he decides he doesnt want those things anymore.... am i wasting my time???

but i cant live in the world of what if... and really i cant imagine feeling ive wasted my time.... i really feel he is perfect for me....

i just want my rock already hehehe.:coolgleamA:jkjk

I am young yet as well... 23.... i have my whole life to be married... i just think i am ready for it NOW.... and also all my friends are having babies and getting married...i feel like im being left behind. Certainly not the reason why i want to get married... just another added twist in the knife. hehe

BUT... this is a weightloss journal... not a therapy session... so that will be enough of that talk!!! lol

Im gonna get out an about on here tonight and post to some journals!!! Talk to you all later!!

I know how you feel about been sick. It really sucks at times.

I know when I was sick this past winter and also discovered that working out actually helped with clearing me up and dropping the fever some it was kind a werd. You wouldn't think that working out while sick would actually make you feel better but is does. Guess you can say that now when you get sick you can't just put off workingout just because you don't feel up to it. Especially if it make you feel better.

Just make sure you stay hydraded while you are working out in your time of illness. Don't need to end up on the floor for dehydration.

Hope you feel better soon.
