Hello all! Lots to do today so i wont really be on here toooooo much! last night i went on a puppy playdate with my friend Eryn and her puppy Lilu. That is cooper's sissy from the litter that we 'saved'..... they are too funny together... pics attached hehe.

slice of 'reduced fat' banana choc chip cake from starbucks 370 cal YIIIIKES. ( cant imagine the non reduced fat one!!!!)

Ham sandwichw/ light mayo and light wheat bread
light string cheese.
*noon-1:00 GYM*

SNACK 1:30- 2 whole wheat waffles with fat free cool whip, coffee

SNACK 3:30- peppridge farm goldfish crackers

Snack 5:00- All Bran Garlic Herb crackers

Dinner 8:00pm- grilled chicken salad with light basalmic vin. dressing
snack- small bowl of sugar free ice cream w/ choc syrup.


yeah... lots of snacking yesterday... im thinking bc my snacks are all carbs and they dont stick with me long!!! gotta get some good snacks here at work again... but im going away for the rest of the week so i figured id just hold off on that.

This morning i resisted the urge for STICKY BUNNNNNNNNNNNNNS!!!!!! :drool5:

instead i made up a bowl of plain instant oatmeal and added some frozen mixed berries and a tiny bit of brown sugar... i am SOO FULL now!!! hehe

Hey guys! Its been a little while since ive been on here…. Getting a new puppy, refinishing living room floors, and then business trip to Vegas got me a little preoccupied!!! Doesn’t mean I fell off the wagon though!!! ? Been doing pretty well lately. I definitely took a small break from the gym due to needing one and also not being willing to pay $40.00 a day to work out in vegas….. sorry not gonna happen!!! Hehe.

Anyways, yesterday I got back in the groove and I did my 2 mile run…. In 17 minutes flat!!!! ? That is my personal best… a whole minute less than my personal best!!! I really booked it yesterday and it felt AMAZING when I was done!! ? I was very very proud of myself!

Here was my food intake yesterday. Tried to Up the protein… doctors orders!

Am
Instant oatmeal ( plain) w/ mixed berries (260calories)
2 cups of coffee w/ cream and splenda

PM
Roasted chicken, cucumber slices, watermelon, skim milk

EVE
Peanut butter powerbar (240 cal)

Snack- 1 cup of broccoli, 5 crackers with chunky peanut butter on them ( abt 2 tbsp)
Coffee w/ cream and splenda


I think I need to back down on the coffee a bit again… im back into drinking a good bit. Im sticking to no more than 2 cups a day…. That’s my new rule… I do not need all that caffeine!
How is everyone else here? I hope well!!!!! I have attached my August pictures… and I will post later some pics of me in my gown from international conference…. I was pleased with the lack of bulge in the belly this year!!! Only criticism I have is that my arms are still looking flabby. Anyways, ill post those in a separate post!

Just some pics of me from Vegas... it was a good time overall... but to me.... unless you are into gambling, heavy drinking, and hookers.... its really not THHHHHAT great hehe. I had a decent time though.... glad to be home to my hunnie and furry kids though thats for sure!!! :):hurray:

Yesterday was a decent day for me. I did not work out due to me trying to incorporate some rest days into my routine. Yesterday was the perfect rest day… since it was storming and miserable…. Good day for comfy clothes and lounging on the couch! :chillpill:
Food for 8/19
Breakfast:
Coffee w/ cream and splenda
Oatmeal ( plain) w/ mixed berries and 1 tbsp of light brown sugar (260 cal)

Lunch
Banana, strawberry, blackberry protein shake (homemade) (approx 250 cal)
Oven roasted turkey breast slices (70 cal)
3pm snack- 1 slice light wheat bread (35 cal), 2 tbsp reduced fat pb (180 cal), choc sugar free pudding (70cal)
4:40 snack- 2 handfuls of dry cheerios
Dinner
2 slices of mushroom pizza
Snack- popcorn and movie date on the couch

The pizza and popcorn were a no no yesterday… but I enjoyed it :puke:nonetheless. I plan to eat well today… and im also hitting the gym. I really really would like to drop 5 lbs at least by September 25th…… that gives me a 1 month and 1 week to get there… time to kick it into HIGH GEAR!!! :blush5::toetap05: im excited to make my goal….. HERE WE GOOOOOOOO :hurray::hurray::willy_nilly:
 
You can definitely make that goal!! Eating naughty foods is sometimes...totally worth it. Lol. Hope you have a wonderful day!!
 
Whoa, I go away for a few days and there are a dozen new posts I've missed! Nice pictures! No paint brushing this time! :D Looking rock solid hot girl! I see no arm or leg problems at all. You have now been hardcore at this since February, right? Somewhere around then, I can't remember. Congrats to sticking to this and continuing to amaze us with your progress.

Derrick- well…. That paint brushing was covering up naughty bits… mine are nice and covered up this time around so all is good. I only post these on WLF…. No underwear pics on the web elsewhere… not my thing lol. Only for weightloss accountability. Anyways, yes I have gone hard since February. I took your advice and took a small break…I am very glad I did… I am so refreshed and ramped up the energy levels again… im ready to hit the ground running and I did that this week!!! Alright, so some updates.
1st- Last night I went to the gym and I hit the treadmill first. I have a friendly little competition as I mentioned before with one of my lifting buddies. Who can make the best time in the 2 mile. As of yesterday afternoon his time was 17:45…..so I had to show him who was boss…. And I made another personal best time at 17:33
I was totally pumped and proud of that! Almost died im sure of it…. Lungs may have collapsed a few times along the way… but I did it! So he says he will do 17:25 today… we will see about that!

2nd- Food intake yesterday. It was alright… but I seem to be having problems at night. I think because I started to try to make dinner my light meal of the day. I don’t think that’s good for me… since I work out at night… so I am going to switch that back to lunch…. A protein bar is not enough in the evenings ive found. Anyways, here is my food for yesterday:
Breakfast: oatmeal w/ fresh strawberries, coffee w/ cream and splenda, decaf hot tea

Lunch: Grilled shrimp salad ( mozzarella cheese, yellow peppers, shrimp, house dressing on side), Italian breadstick

Snack: 1 slice whole wheat bread w/ sliced turkey breast on it, reduced fat mayo string cheese
Dinner: special k protein bar, grapes, 1 cup of dry raisin bran
Snack: 5 crackers with 2 tb chunky PB


3rd and lastly, i wanted to share my measurements from 1 year ago and now today and the progress so far... it honestly put tears in my eyes..... its a step toward my goal and very exciting to me!

So hey there everyone! Hope you all had an awesome weekend! Mine was alright I suppose……
Friday I went to the gym and it was legs and abs day… whoooooo. Was I sore then the next day! I actually took Saturday and Sunday off. Going hard this week during the week… gonna bust some butttt! Going to be strict with the diet and exercise for sure. I did have about 1.5 handfuls of fishers carmel popcorn from the beach… damn people bringing that shit back from their vacations!!! Hehe….. hey gotta indulge sometimes ?

Two things this weekend have me a bit bummed today.
1st- I found cooper a good home. Now, that is something I am extremely pleased about…. Fostering a dog I learnedhowever, is very hard. Its so tough to give them to someone else and trust they will take very good care of him. It broke my heart to see him go. My whole goal was to save him from that crappy situation he was in… foster him and get him acclimated to a “normal life” and then home him once I screened a good family for him to be with.
The family he went to live with has 2 doggies like him… ages 2, 5. They also have 3 boys ages 6,4,and 8 months. The mother is a stay at home mom, lives in the country with 1 acre of fenced in yard, and owns their home. They seem soooo nice, have a brand new mini van, hubby was really nice, good job…. Just overall great family. I feel confident they will treat him right. But of course I bawled the WHOLE WAY HOME … it was so tough… he was my baby. But I am not home enough for the two doggies I have… no to mention enough to work with and potty train a puppy. So its really for the best for everyone.

The 2nd thing that bummed me out was a wedding. ( I know im an idiot)….. but I guess it’s that green jealousy monster. Ive been waiting 4.5 years for my boyfriend to propose to me…. WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH ME that he doesn’t want to seal the deal!?!?!? Maybe I bug him too much about it like he says? He says he really wants that, he wants to get married and its not going to be long…. But the fact that I always bring it up and he feels like im attacking him about it…. I guess upsets him. I don’t see it as attacking… I just am trying to get reassurance I guess…..:rant:


But it gets us nowhere but in a fight. So I guess the wedding of his step brother… just kind of had me a little bitter and jealous. Sigh…. Maybe some day.


Anyways, going to hit the gym HARD tonight…. And then its on this week!!! I feel a loss coming on!!! :hurray:hehe
