Alta – Thanks Alta I do feel like I’m working hard and it’s paying off! I love it that we are neck and neck to push each other along! It brings some friendly competition to see who’s going to make it to the 140’s first!! Super motivating for me!!

Ok so the Doctor didn’t have the best news but it wasn’t too bad. Let me start by saying I hate being touched by strangers. I’ve never had a family Doctor so the only time I’ve gone to the Doctor is if it’s an emergency and then I go to a walk in clinic. I have never been massaged or had chiropractor care except for a brief visit with a family friend last time this happened. So my experience with Doctor’s is minimal. This guy totally creped me out! Instead of him asking me to lower my pants he pulled them down for me and then pulled my underwear back up for me. Instead of asking me to pull my hair away he would brush it away from my neck for me. Ok I know he’s a Doctor but he was putting his finger in my bum crack, on my chest, in my pelvic area and it was SO uncomfortable! I hated every minute of it. He told me a had a muscle on my outer hip that was turned off so he did something to turn it back on and then made some adjustments because I had two joints out of place and my hip was tilting inwards which caused the sore hip flexor. I have to go back Saturday and I think this will be my last visit with him. If I need more work I will find a women Doc because I just can’t handle the touching. He told me not to run until I see him Saturday but that I could still do other exercises.
Here’s how yesterday looked:
Exercise – 1 hr cycle circuit class (we would do 15 min on the bike and then get off and do 10 min of squats, lunges w weights, superman lifts and push-ups and then get back on the bike for another 15 min repeating the circuit)
B – Tim Horton’s green tea and strawberry yogurt & berries ( I really wanted a bagel and vanilla cap but decided it wouldn’t be the best choice)
L – big veggie salad w gr onion, red pepper, cucumber, strawberry, black olives, carrot & ff tomato oregano dressing mixed w 1 can tuna drained in water.
Snack – 1 cup mint green tea
D – 2 cups Smart spaghettini w home made sauce – ground lean pork, canned tomato, tomato sauce, peppers, onions, garlic, seasoning. (I originally only had 1 cup but it was soooo good I went back for seconds!)
Exercise – 20 min treadmill (180 cal, 1.3 miles) 10 min arm workout with 10lb dumbbells.
Snack – WW chocolate protein smoothie w water (only 1 point)
I used all my points exactly today and was pretty proud with the snacks again – I knew because I had so much pasta I didn’t need anything and I didn’t wake up starving!
Oh I had 1 bite of my hunnie’s ice cream – his mom brought over a 4 litre container last Sunday and my hunnie has almost finished it off!! I couldn’t believe it when she brought it in the house! I was like “bring it home and don’t leave it here” and she just laughed!
I’m getting pretty excited to go dancing with the girls on Saturday night. I’m going to get a good work out in at Kettle Bell in the morning so I don’t feel so guilty about all the drinks I’m going to have. I just can’t dance unless I’m drunk – I think too much about what I’m doing and who’s watching me.
