Here comes the bride...6 months to go!!

Wow it's been a while since I've been on here! Friday I was stuck working with my boss all day and yesterday I was home sick.
Thursday night I took it easy and did 2 BOSU dvd's 1 hr in total - eating was ok.
Friday I went for a 5km run outside and didn't stop to walk once! I made it in 31 minutes - I was really happy with that time but I know Sarah would beat me in a race! Eating again was so/so - nothing special to write home about.
Saturday I got my hair done in the morning and it took 2 hours so I missed kettle bell and decided to get my bike out - I biked 16 kms in 40 min - pretty much all flat so not much challenge but it was so nice out and felt great to get some fresh air - my legs were pretty sore after too. Saturday night we had friends over and I drank a fair amount - puked a fair amount too! My hunnie told me I had a witch's cauldrin boiling in my stomach because of what I drank and that's why I got sick - I really mixed things up because I didn't know what I felt like drinking so I had red wine, beer & clamato, coffee & baileys, rye & coke and then more red wine! So I guess I was asking to get sick.
Sunday I didn't do anything but complain about how sick I was and what I did eat wasn't healthy.
Monday I woke up sick again and decided to take a day off from work - didn't work out again and didn't eat a heck of a lot. Got my taxes done though so at least I did something, lol.
Ok so since my weigh in on Thursday which was 156 - down 1.4 pounds I have been really slacking and can't find any motivation to track - I haven't written anything down since Thursday and it's already Tuesday! Tonight I would like to get out jogging again and maybe do a BOSU video. I feel guilty for not going to the gym but I just don't feel like it and would rather work out at home or outside. I'm hoping something changes soon because I burn more calories when I go to the gym. I have lots of reading to do to catch up on everyone today - hopefully I find some motivation from all of you!
 
LOL wow, what a mix of booze that was. No wonder your tummy got upset :p Nice job on the loss last week! I was very anxious to know how it went! Don't drag along anymore this week though - you had a pretty relaxed weekend (still great workouts!) compared to what you're usually doing so get your booty back into gear! BTW - 31 minutes is great timing for a 5K! That's about a 10 minutes per mile speed! :)

Oh god, I can feel the hangover - lethal mix of drinks hehe :)

Hey Lisa, I'm glad your back! That was quite a combination of drinks! I'm glad your feeling better though. Your workouts sound great as usual, I really wish I could go running outside, it is something I would love to do but I'm too self-conscience I think...when I was bigger I would always think of the "fit" me running outside in a cute running outfit lol. You did your 5km in great time- congrats on that! Don't worry about your slacking- its a new week and its time to just jump back on the wagon and start fresh, you have the rest of the week to do great! I know you watch the biggest loser, hopefully they give us some inspiration tonight! Talk to you tomorrow!

Thanks Sarah - I was proud of the time but hope to work up to where you are at! There should be no reason I can't go that fast too - I have longer legs than you!!

You are the "fit" you now and you should be confident! Heck I'm sure you would look cuter than me and I still get out there! Trust me no one is watching that closely and they only get to look for a brief second before they are gone and you never see them again!
 
Ok so yesterday was an awesome day - up until 10 pm when the snacking took over once again! I wanted to stay up and watch this show called Parenthood and I shouldn't have because during the whole hour I snacked on every commercial break:smash:
Here's how it looked up until that point:
B - banana & all bran buds
Snack - 3 small cups mint green tea
L - garden greens mix w 1/2 yellow pepper & ff tomato, oregano, dressing (my salads have really been lacking creativity lately).
Snack - apple
Exercise - 5km run outside - made it the whole distance without stopping again and beat my time!! I did it in 30 min exactly! I love how the snow is melting and sun is staying out longer.
D - 1 piece WW whole wheat bread w 1/3 can tuna in water, light mayo, chopped pickles & 3 thin slices cheese melted in oven, 1/2 can tomato & rice campbell's soup
Exercise - 40 min treadmill (while watching BL) - 2.5 miles & 370 cal, I had it on 3.8 mph & 5 incline - during each commercial I would jump off and do 2 sets of 15 reps of push-ups and curl-ups on the exercise ball - 8 sets in total. Some bicep curls & lunges.
Snack - 1 cup home made left over chilly - onion, celery, peppers, crushed tomatos, mixed beans, ground deer meat, spices & tomato paste.
Ok I should have called it a night. I felt good and wasn't hungry but I was bored with the damn commerical breaks! I wish I had a PVR so I could tape my shows and then fast forward through all the commercials!
Extra snacks:smash:- 2 1 point WW bars, whole wheat ritz w cream cheese - lots of it:smash:
I don't think I will be down tomorrow for weigh in but it's motivating me to try harder and really put in the effort. I'm going to hate going there tomorrow for them to tell me I have stayed the same or possibly gained 1/2 pound or something silly. I'm still happy it was a maintainence week and could have been worse! Next week will be better no doubts about it. I have plans to go to the movies with my girlfriend Friday night and I'm already thinking about the snacks I can bring so I'm not tempted. I have called my gym friend and told her she has to come to Kettle Bell with my Saturday and then we are going to have sauna's. No drinking for me this weekend!
My sister started selling Nu Skin products and sent me a galvanic spa in the mail because she wants me to use it on my arms - apparently it gets rid of stretch marks and tones so she wants me to take some before and after pics to see if it works so she feels more comfortable selling it. I hope it does because I absolutely hate my arms and know they will bother me in a strapless wedding dress. I also need to increase my strength training for them to every second night. I'll let you know how the spa works apparently it works really well for wrinkles too but I'm not too worried about that yet.
 
that was a really lethal mix of drinks!!!! You seem to be back in the game so don't stop!!! Let me know if that stuff works on strech Marks cause I would love to minimize the ones I have on my stomach (that is what I get for gaining 30lb during my pregnancy) I was told Bio Oil works, but I don't know anyone that has used it! Keep it up and you will be the most beautiful bride!

That chili sounds good. Where do you get deer meat from? Interesting!!

I used it last night and didn't notice a difference but I'm sure I need to use it consistently for 4 weeks to notice anything - I will let you know! I currently use bio oil and it fades them slightly but you also have to use it twice a day for a couple months to notice anything. Doesn't give me the results I am looking for so I hope this spa works - it is expensive though.

My hunnie's friends got two deer so they had some meat to spare. We got like 8 bags of ground deer meat in the freezer for free!! I know some people might be sad about killing the deer but if you knew how many deer were in my area you wouldn't feel so bad trust me!

Hey Alta missed you too!! We are almost neck in neck on the scale again - can't wait to celebrate the 140's with you!!! I have a way of making my arms look better in pics - I squeeze the fat to the back so they look small from the front - I don't think it will work in a strapless dress so I have some work to do! I'm looking forward to it though!
 
Ok so yesterday was a great day!! I got into some snacks last night but they were all really healthy so I don't feel guilty at all! Here's how it looked:
B- ff yogurt & all bran buds
Snack - 1 1/2 cups mint green tea, apple
L - instant reg oatmeal w 1 cup frozen blueberries
Snack - curves PB bar
Exercise - 7 km run outside - no stopping!!! I am really loving running outside! I was so excited to map out a 7 km route and do the whole thing without stopping in 42 min! I need some new shoes though because I don't want to dirty my indoor shoes for the gym and my outdoor shoes are like 5 years old with holes in them!
D - 4 oz boneless skinless baked chicken breast w spices, veggie salad - mixed garden greens, carrot, red pepper, cucumber, tomato, green grapes w olive oil & balsamic vinegar
Did my spa on my face and arms and didn't notice any difference yet - my face felt really smooth though.
Snacks - tomato w salt, orange, 1 point PB bar & s.f. jello cup
My hunnie was up sick all night and I felt bad for him but I also felt bad for me not getting any sleep because of it. I'm tired today but have my gym bag packed because I get the car to myself today since he didn't go to work. My girlfriend is going to meet me and I'm not sure what I want to do there but something other than the treadmill!
I also have my weigh-in today - I'm not expecting a big # again but a loss of any kind would be nice! I have a busy day at work so I might not get back here. Have a good day everyone!
 
Hey Lisa - good luck at weigh in today! You have been doing great this week so I hope that reflects on the scale for you. Even if it doesn't, know that you came back strong after a crappy weekend and that's what really counts! Keep it up :) ~ Sarah

I have been thinking I should give running a try everyone on here seem to be into running! Keep up the good work!
 
My snacking monster has been back with a vengance this week. I have been so bad and my workouts have been almost non existant. I don't want to step on the scale tomorrow either, but maybe I'll kick my butt :p Good luck today :)
 
Thank you for the motivation Lisa, I think I will take your advice and just try, I feel vain thinking that people will be stairing, but that is not at all the case, I guess its a fear of judgement, but your right I'll never see those people again...and if they judge, so be it! I will atleast be doing something good for myself! Thank you for being such a great motivation to me!

Even though you were snackyer then you wanted to be on Tuesday, you did great with your workouts as always so I am so positive that you just cancelled them all out!

I am so proud of you and impressed with your running! Great job! Your did so much better choosing healthier snacks last night so that was great too! Good luck with your weigh-in today and good luck at the gym- I know you don't need it because you always kick butt!
