Here comes the bride...6 months to go!!

Wow Lisa, if I just could have did 1/5 of the exercises you did during the weekend I would have felt like I accomplished something. Have a great week!

Good Job with the workouts WOW!!!! I wish I did half you did, the only exercise I get is going down and up the stairs with the laundry!!! Keep it up and you will be at 135 in no time!

Veronique

Thanks everyone for stopping by.
Sarah - get some rest and get better and then tackle the week - it's a good thing you don't get the cravings I do when I'm sick - I love comfort food!
Derrick - I know I hate the diet part! Why does it have to be so important and why do they have to make food taste so good!!
Mrskt and Verobc - you are both doing great and probably far more busy than me on the weekends so don't feel bad if your exercise doesn't compare - I have a lot of time on my hands and really enjoy working out.

Ok so yesterday was Monday and a pretty decent day considering. I hate Mondays and find myself so tired from the weekend always, although I don't really do much to tire me out and get plenty of sleep so I think I'm just tired because it's Monday and no other reason. Here's how Monday looked:
B- ff yogurt & all bran buds pouch
Snack - 2 cups mint green tea
L - instant reg oatmeal w 1 cup sliced frozen strawberries
Snack - apple
Exercise - 1 hr kettle bell strength class - I feel like this is making me so much stronger! I moved up to the 26 lb bell and think I'm almost ready to move to the 32 lb one! There are still a couple one handed moves I can only do with the 18 lb bell but it's usually working the shoulders and I know my shoulders are pretty weak. i'm getting better at push-ups but still can only do a few before I switch to my knees.
Snack - PB curves bar
D - Chicken stir fry - 3 oz boneless, skinless chicken breast, sprouts, yellow pepper, zucchini, corn niblets, water chest nuts, sweet onion, vegetable broth, hot sauce & a spoonful asian noodles.
Exercise - 25 min treadmill (1.7 mi, 220 cal) Just felt like doing some fast walking with incline.
Snacks - chocolate pudding, 2 whole wheat ritz crackers w jam, a couple spoonfuls of hunnie's alfagetti.
So I could have done without the snacks right before bed but I blame it all on my hunnie - well in the end it was my own choices but he wouldn't stop snacking and I wanted a taste of everything.
Tonight he is going to see some metal band so I will be home alone - I'm so glad the biggest loser will be back on! I plan to get to bed early too or keep my mind occupied so I don't think about food!
Have a great Tuesday - wish it was Friday :waving:

Lisa your honestly amazing! Your workouts are so killer! You may have not eaten perfectly this weekend, but weight loss is a process and a lot of trial and error and I think you are on your way with your food, you are making progress and I am confident that you will master it. There is no way that you won't lose weight this week with such hard core workouts, you are such an inspiration to me, and everyone here, you have no idea! I think if we can work hard all week long its not terrible to have a snack over the weekend, as long as we don't over do it and cancel out all the hard work we did over the week. I'm so excited the Biggest Loser is finally back this week too! I love that show, its so motivating. Anyway, I think your amazing and you are doing really really well! Keep kicking butt this week!

Looking good girl!!! You've definately got the exercise down... now for that food issue!! I'm not sure if you read my entry in Sarah's journal a while back about digestive enzymes, but you too might want to look into that. Try adding some raw veggies into your day and see if it makes a difference. I've been craving snacks again at night, so I'll take just a little of what I really want (1piece of chocolate, 3-4chips) and then fill my bowl/dish with celery, carrots, snap peas, mini tomatoes, etc... it's really working for me. The other trick is to have it all cut and washed so when I open the fridge looking for something to just grab, it's easier to go for the good stuff (with just a little of the bad ;))

Keep up the great work Lisa :D
Marie

Your exercise is great... makes me feel ashamed of my poor effort :D

Keep up the hard work and good luck seeing a big loss this week! x

You're doing amazing, Lisa... I don't even know what else to say! That chicken stir fry sounds soooo yummy. I wish I could cook! :p I am also really looking forward to the Biggest Loser being back on tonight! I was getting mad that the olympics were on for what seemed like forever! LOL talk to ya in the morning!

OMG! I've never been in so much pain!! I pulled a groin muscle last night and have never pulled a muscle before and now know what all the fuss is about. Ouch!! I was running miles on the treadmill and doing my push-ups and pull-ups on the ball in between each mile and after 3 miles and during my last rep of curl ups I felt the muscle pop and I was out for the count! My hunnie wasn't home so I called my parents not knowing what I did or what to do - my dad is pretty familiar with this sort of thing and told me to ice it but I couldn't even get up the stairs to get ice. I sat in the middle of the floor in the basement for quite some time contemplating what to do. After sitting for a while I was able to get up and get on the couch. The only good thing about this happening was I wasn't able to walk up the stairs and therefore wasn't able to get snacks from the fridge!! I'm so mad I'm not going to be able to exercise for a couple days! So frustrating especially with weigh-in tomorrow. Going up the stairs is the worst and there are so many stairs at my work. I'm just in a horrible mood today.

Thanks everyone for all your support! Janvier, Sarah, Marie, Tutti and Miss Jelly Bean I really appreciate your posts - they all mean so much.

Marie - it's great to hear from you! I'm kinda like Sarah and I don't like veggies plain or even in dip for that matter. I like them in my salad or with dinner and that's about it - your right though that I need to find some better snacks! That will be my mission next time I go grocery shopping. Even some different fruit would be better than what I have been having!
Ok till tomorrow forum friends.

Hey girl...if you felt something "pop", it could be more than a pulled muscle...you may want to get it checked out...especially if it's not better with rest.

The only good thing about this happening was I wasn't able to walk up the stairs and therefore wasn't able to get snacks from the fridge!!

I can SO see myself pulling myself up the stairs... "MUST....HAVE...SNACKS!!!"

Hope you feel better.

Lisa that is awful, try to get some rest, ice it and just take it easy. Don't worry about not being able to work out, just keep your diet in check and you'll be fine! Feel better soon! :grouphug:

You were right - it wasn't a pulled muscle - it was a joint out of place right near my hip flexor. I went to see my mom's friend who is a chiropractor and she popped it back and it was almost instant relief. I still took it easy yesterday and didn't do any physical activity - I really missed it too. Knowing I can't work out makes me think of food way more. I really battled with some cravings yesterday and if it weren't for my weigh-in today I know I would have given into some of them. I couldn't stop thinking about bagels & cream cheese and cheese burgers but I resisted. I did go over my points with a few late night snacks but nothing crazy or out of control. I'm looking forward to getting back to exercising tonight although I think I will stay away from ball curl ups for a while.
I'm not going to post my weigh-in because I want it to be a surprise for the biggest loser competition come Tuesday. So you will have to wait in suspense. I'm hoping for a loss but last week was a big one and I was still snacking too much in the evenings. Oh well today is the start to a new week and I feel I can do better. Just gotta keep at it.

I'm glad you got that joint problem taken care of! Don't worry about not being able to exercise as much or as hard as you have been... diet comes first! Plus all the exercise you do would make up for the lost exercise anyway :) I'm looking forward to seeing how your weigh in goes! I bet you'll have some good news. I hope I have good news tomorrow! Have a great day Lisa!

Hey Lisa,

I'm glad you are feeling better. Don't over do it during your workout, you don't want another injury. I am looking foward to hearing your how your weigh-in goes! I hope your having a better day today!

Wow, you've had quite a week. Glad to hear you've got it all taken care of though. Take it easy this weekend, and make that injury your motivation to stay away from the snacks!!! I know you can do it :)

I'm very excited to hear about your loss (I've got some good new in my journal too if you've got a min to look ;) )

Have a great weekend Lisa... stay strong!!!
