Here comes the bride...6 months to go!!

Ok I was going to wait until Tuesday to post my weigh-in but I can't wait because I am so excited!! 152.4! That a 3.6 pound loss! And I did my measurements this morning and those are coming down too! It's a great day!
Measurements (all in inches)
Feb 11/Feb 25/Today
Chest - 36 / forgot/ 35 (down 1)
Waist(smallest) - 30.5/ 30 / 29.5 (down 1)
Waist (bbutton)- 35 / 34 / 34 (down 1)
Hips - 39 / 39 / 38 (down 1)
Thigh - 23 / 23 / 22 (down 1)
Calf -14.5/15/14.5 (no change)
Arm -12.5/12/11.75 (down .75)
Wrist - 6 inches (I found some where that says because of this I have a small frame but I don't believe it! I always thought I had a large frame and then just recently medium frame but no way small frame!

My goal for next week is to be out of the 150's - It's a long shot but I'm in a better place in my mind these days and the thoughts of the wedding approaching are getting me pretty fired up. I am also really enjoying running outside and hope this nice weather is here to stay - last winter we still got a snow storm April 1st so I'm hoping that was just a joke last year and won't happen again this year.
My girlfriend already cancelled for Kettle Bell Saturday but I am going to go partner less again because I really missed it last week.
Marie - do you think the snacking monster came back because you reached your # goal? That always subconsiously happens to me - same with the not exercising? Just a thought - get back on the wagon - you want to see 130 every Friday!
Sarah - weigh-in was a success!! Hope it continues that way for the next 20 weeks!! Why didn't you post today? Bad night?
Veronica - it's Veronica right? you should totally try running outside - just start off slow with a half a song or the chorus and work your way to the full song. It's really addicting once you get into it.
Ok that's it for today!! I'm in such a good mood and can't wait to do really well this week ahead!

YYYYAAAAAAYYYYY!!!! So awesome Lisa. Those are some pretty amazing numbers you've got there!! Did you notice that even though there is 20lbs b/w us, I'm only 1 inch smaller?!?! Keep it up, YOU ROCK GIRL!!! :D:D:D

Yes! Good for you! Now take that momentum and run with it! If you can put together two good weeks in a row you will really take off!

:hurray:Yesterday was an awesome day and today is Friday - things couldn't be better!! Here's how yesterday looked:
B - missed it because I got busy at work doing interviews :toetap05:
Snack - 1 cup green grapes, 1 cup mint green tea
L - big veggie salad - mixed greens, red pepper, cucumber, green grapes, black olives, shredded carrot & ff tomato oregano dressing
Exercise - 60 min treadmill (5.2 miles or 8.4km, 580 cal) 20 min shoulders, back & arms machines 3 sets of 15 reps at each machine.
Snack - PB curves bar
D - leftover night because my hunnie was sick and only wanted soup - 3 oz boneless, skinless, chicken breast, 1 cup chilly, 3 perogies w ff ranch dressing.
Snack - 1/2 banana sliced w 1/2 pudding cup & 1/2 van. yogurt cup - yummm! I made the other half for my hunnie and he really enjoyed it too!
1 cup decaf green tea w lemon and that's it!!!
I used exactly my 20 points for the day and earned some activity points too!
I feel great about the weekend going forward. The weather is supposed to be really nice and I would love to do some more running outside - I think I am going to map out a 10km run and try that out! Tonight I'm going out for lunch with my maid of honour and cousin to start planning the shower and then after work I plan to go to the gym and then get ready for the movies with my friend. I brought my microwave popcorn, a curves bar and a bottle of water for the movies. I feel really dedicated and motivated for the week ahead. Have a great weekend everyone! Chat Monday!:seeya:

Thanks Marie - just trying to catch up to you!!
That is odd? - How tall are you again? I'll have to go back to your journal and have a look. Have you ever had your body fat% measured? I haven't in a while but I think the last time I got it done I was either 25 or 27%.

Yes! Good for you! Now take that momentum and run with it! If you can put together two good weeks in a row you will really take off!

Thanks Derrick - it's good weeks from here on out!! I hope I don't have any more hiccups before the wedding - it's crunch time!!

Yesterday looks awesome! Nice treadmill workout by the way! And that is great that you are planning ahead for snacks at the movie! I think it's so funny before when I would bring snacks, it was chocolate and candy and soda, but now it's measured out serving sizes of popcorn! I hope you try that 10K run - when I do mine, I just run my 5K and then turn around and run the opposite way. I'll probably make a new route soon but it works if you like th route you're already running :D Have a great weekend!!!

148 more sleeps or 21 more weeks or just less than 5 months! Either way you look at it it's getting closer!! And I still have lots to do!!

Haha I love that you know exactly how many sleeps :D you're obviously really excited!! I love a good wedding though so can't blame you - I will be like a woman possessed when I plan my wedding! :D Are your plans all going smoothly? xx

:sleeping:so tired today. It always takes me some time to catch up to the time change plus it's MOnday so it's a double whammy of tiredness. Weekend went pretty good, here's how it went down;
Friday - took a day off exercise - brought my pre-popped microwave popcorn to the movies w a little bit of vinegar & salt. My girlfriend got the real deal popcorn with butter and I didn't even give it a try. When I got home however my hunnie had made pizza for dinner so I had 1 1/2 slices :smash:
Saturday - woke up early for Kettle Bell and went alone - got partnered up again and didn't like my partner but sweated like a machine! Got home and made some egg white scrambled eggs w 2 pieces WW whole wheat bread. Spent 3 straight hours cleaning the house - sweeping, moping, vacuuming, laundry, cleaning washrooms, washing windows, etc. It felt like a good work out and then I was beat so I had a nap. Woke up and had dinner plans at the Keg with another couple - I ordered Thai chicken & it came with a baked potato & red & yellow peppers - it was very good. Dropped my hunnie off at his friends because they were having a bon fire outside and I was dressed up nice for dinner so I didn't want to stay and it was still a little chilly outside. Went home and had a one point bar even though I was still full and then passed out on the couch!
Sunday - thought I was getting up pretty early and then remembered the time change :smash: I had mapped out a 10km route the day before and bought new runners so I was so excited to go running. It was gorgeous outside. I did some jumping jacks inside to warm up and headed out. It felt so great and I was enjoying every minute of it. I got to 8.5 km and started to feel some pain in my hip flexor again. I stopped briefly to stretch and it just gradually kept getting worse until I couldn't run anymore and could barely walk. The last 1.5 km were so painful and I was so sad I didn't get to finish. I wished I had my cell phone to call my hunnie but I just hobbled along until I got home. It total it took me 1hr & 10min but I'm sure I would have finished within the hour if I didn't get hurt. My hip flexor is still pretty sore today and I think I'm going to try and get in to the chiropractor again. I'm just so sad because I hate taking time off. I'm going to see how the day goes and hopefully it gets better so I can go to Kettle Bell after work.
We had my hunnie's family over for a bar-b-que last night and I made taco salad & my hunnie made home made burgers. His mom brought ice cream and lemon pie and I couldn't resist. I figured I earned it and was feeling sorry for myself hobbling around.
All in all I think it was a decent weekend. I think I would have felt better about it if I would have finished that run. Oh well there will be others.
Hope everyone had a good weekend - time to catch up.

Hey Lisa! Looks like another good weekend. I am sorry to hear that you couldn't finish your run! You definitely would have made it within and hour - we could totally keep up with each other! But it's good that you didn't push through it - hopefully the pain goes away soon. It's always a terrible feeling when you want to work out but something is holding you back! Brings me back to my days of shin splits :toetap05: Well your eating looks good, I think you're doing wonderful and it looks like you are back on track! :cheers2:

Hey Sarah, yes I do feel back on track and I love the feeling! My hip flexor is still pretty sore today so I made an appointment to get some tests done and have a doctor look at it - I don't get in until Thursday though so I have to take it easy until then. I still had a good day yesterday, here's how it looked:
B - ff yogurt & all bran bud (it was kiwi yogurt & it didn't go well with the bran buds so I only ate half of it before I threw it out)
Snack - 2 cups mint green tea
L - instant reg oatmeal w 1 cup fresh blueberries
Snack - 1 cup green grapes
Exercise - 30 min biking - approx 10 km's (my hip flexor didn't hurt while biking so that was a relief - it was so nice out and all I wanted to do was run)
D - 2 pieces WW whole wheat bread w 2/3 can tuna drained in water, light mayo, onion, sweet pickle all mixed together & 1 ff cheese slice (toasted open face in oven), 1/2 can campbell's onion soup.
Snacks - 2 spoonfuls Kraft Dinner, 5 strawberries, apple

My snacks are getting much better at night - I'm finally getting some control back!
Last night I finished my hunnie's taxes and both his and mine are getting sent in the mail today so hopefully in 6 weeks we will get a nice cheque in the mail!! I'd love to say I can use it to go shopping but it's all going to the wedding. It's supposed to be so nice out again today - this weather has been unreal for Northern Ontario! Last winter we had back to back snow storms the beginning of spring and all the snow wasn't gone until May and this year there is no snow and it's only the middle of March!! I know it can change quickly and we could get a dump of snow tomorrow but I'm just loving this while it lasts!
Tonight I hope to do some BOSU dvd's and maybe a bike ride again. It still hurts to walk so I'm going to hold off on running until I see the Doc.:toetap05:

Lisa your doing so great this week! Completley back on track and I am so happy for you! You have made such a huge difference with you snacks! I'm sorry your hip flexor is still giving trouble, hopefully you will get some relief after your doctors appointment, but good for you for you for finding ways to workout around it! Keep up the great work this week, you are motivating me to try my best this week as well- especially since your doing so well dispite your injury.

Hey Lisa

I know what you mean about the weather it is so nice out I hope this continues all summer we are due for a great warm summer, not like the last couple of years!!! I find it so amazing that even with your injury you are still working out...wow I don't that I could do it! Keep up all that good work!!!:hurray:
