Here comes the bride...6 months to go!!

I was so tired too yesterday (Monday), ugh! I had sleepy eyes all day!!

Way to bring your own popcorn to the movies! I am impressed!! I bet that felt good to be guilt free next to the real buttery popcorn.

Great job with the kettlebells! I have yet to try that. looks terribly tough! Go Girl!!
 
Looks like you're doing well and feeling really motivated :) sorry to hear you've hurt yourself, hopefully the Dr will be able to sort that out and get you back to your running asap x
 
Another good day down in the books, here's how it looked:
B- ff yogurt & all bran buds
Snack - 3 cups mint green tea
L - instant reg oatmeal w 1 cup frozen blueberries
Exercise - went for a 25 min walk at lunch just to stretch my legs and get some fresh air (think I might start doing this daily)
Snack - apple
D - 4 oz salmon filet, shredded cabbage w chopped apple & calorie wise coleslaw dressing, 1 cup steamed brocolli w 1 tbsp ff ranch dressing.
Exercise - 1 hr Kettle Bell circuit (my hip flexor was feeling a little better so I figured I try the class). The class was called crazy 8's - 8 exercises, 8 reps, 8 rounds - the rounds were 5 min each and I finished around 4 min so I got a 1 min break inbetween each round. I had to modify a couple of the exercises because the burpees were starting to pull my hip flexor and I could feel it getting tighter. The exercises were swings, burpee swings, R snatch, L snatch, squat jumps, R high swing, L high swing, burpee push-ups. It was pretty intense and I was dripping sweat and probably wasn't the best thing for my hip flexor but it doesn't feel any more sore today and I see the Dr. tomorrow so all's good.
Snacks - WW chocolate protein smoothy w water (only 1 WW point), orange, banana w choc. pudding cup.
We had an early dinner so I think I did ok with snacks - I still had 2 WW points left too so that was good.
Did anyone notice Ashley on the BL during her mom's 2 months later update? - she looked so different and so slim!! I can't believe they showed her. Do you think Stephanie who only lost 2 pounds on the black team did so lousy because it was her time of the month? I felt bad for her.

No! I didn't notice her. Do you mean the one the mom hugged after the race? I thought that was a different daughter. Or was she in the crowd?

I thought that about Stephanie too. I felt so, so bad for her. I was almost waiting for someone to say something about it, but I suppose conversations about that would be off camera. I did notice that no one voted for her, so maybe they know something we don't.

That class you're taking sounds insane! I'm in awe that you can do that, I think that would kill me at this point. Good for you!

Mizzie - yes I believe the brown haired girl she hugged after the race was Ashley or maybe it was another sister?? I thought her smile looked like Ashley's but I could be wrong. I'm so curious now.
The Kettle Bell class is pretty insane - I don't think any other exercise gets my heart beating as fast - someone in the class wears one of those heart rate watches that calculates calories burned and they burned 885 in the hour class last night using the same 26 lb Kettle Bell I use. You'll get there - once you get really addicted to exercising you will look for new exercises to keep you going and to keep challenging yourself.

Great job yesterday! Your doing great this week. You really seem in control of your snacks this week and I think that is going to make a huge difference in your weight loss because that seemed to be your only problem area. Keep up the good work! That wasn't Ashley on the Biggest Loser, it was her sister, it said it when she was cheering for her mom, but they do look insanely alike don't they? I think they will look like twins when Ashley gets to her size. I felt bad for Stephanie too, I want them all to do well so badily, hopefully next week will be a better week for her, otherwise I think she'll be next to go. Thanks for your post in my dairy, I'm going to head over there to update how I did yesterday. Its so pretty outside, I hope you get to go for another walk today. Your doing amazing, keep it up!
 
Thanks Janvier for the clarification regarding Ashley!! Glad someone was paying attention! I hope Stephanie does better next too because I don't want to see her go either. Hopefully the black team will win the weigh in next week - gotta cheer on the girls!
 
Ok so another good day down in the books! Here's how it looked:

Snack - 2 cups mint green tea
L #1 (11:30am) - left over shredded cabbage w chopped apple & calorie wise coleslaw dressing
L #2 (2:30pm) - instant reg oatmeal w 1 cup frozen blueberries
D (5:30pm) - 3 oz pork chop baked w seasonings, 1 lg sweet potato sliced w dill baked w olive oil spray & ketchup, side veggie salad w gr onion, red pepper, cucumber, strawberry, black olives, carrot & olive oil & balsamic vinegar
Exercise - played outside with hunnie for an hour - playing catch w baseball, raking leaves (5 big piles), & short bike ride around the block.
Snacks - apple, 1 point PB bar
I have my weigh-in in a couple hours and I wasn't very happy with the # on my scale this morning so we'll see how it goes. I feel like I've been better than ever the last couple days with my eating and sticking within my points target. I hope to keep the momentum going for next week.
Guess what?? I woke up and made it to the gym this morning! My alarm went off at 5:20am and I didnt' push snooze!! I met a couple other girls there and we took an hour cycle circuit class - it was great and really got me going this morning! I'll report back after my weigh-in. Send some positive energy my way!!
 
150.6!! :party: Down 1.8 this week! Not as good as last week but I'll take it! I think going to the gym helped this morning because my scale at home was 151. That's a total of 14 pounds in 4 weeks! I only have 5 to go to get to my xmas weight! And then another 5 to be a life time WW member! I'm in a great mood this morning - I think the gym really helped too!
I forgot to mention I got another walk in at lunch yesterday but today I forgot my runners and I don't think my high heels would cut it.
I really hope the Doctor has some good news for me tonight because I'm itching to go for a run - my hip flexor has been feeling better and I was going to test out running on the treadmill last night but my hunnie told me I could wait one more day and took it easy instead.

You seem like you are fully back on track and well on your way to getting back to your pre-christmas weight and your goal weight. 14 pounds in 4 weeks!? Damn woman! You are amazing. You should be very proud of yourself for getting all that weight back off so quickly - and that you didn't let the gain hold you back. Seriously, you are superwoman!!! Can't wait to hear from ya when I get back. I'll just say it ahead of time - congrats on getting back to the 140's :p

Ok so the Doctor didn’t have the best news but it wasn’t too bad. Let me start by saying I hate being touched by strangers. I’ve never had a family Doctor so the only time I’ve gone to the Doctor is if it’s an emergency and then I go to a walk in clinic. I have never been massaged or had chiropractor care except for a brief visit with a family friend last time this happened. So my experience with Doctor’s is minimal. This guy totally creped me out! Instead of him asking me to lower my pants he pulled them down for me and then pulled my underwear back up for me. Instead of asking me to pull my hair away he would brush it away from my neck for me. Ok I know he’s a Doctor but he was putting his finger in my bum crack, on my chest, in my pelvic area and it was SO uncomfortable! I hated every minute of it. He told me a had a muscle on my outer hip that was turned off so he did something to turn it back on and then made some adjustments because I had two joints out of place and my hip was tilting inwards which caused the sore hip flexor. I have to go back Saturday and I think this will be my last visit with him. If I need more work I will find a women Doc because I just can’t handle the touching. He told me not to run until I see him Saturday but that I could still do other exercises.
Here’s how yesterday looked:
Exercise – 1 hr cycle circuit class (we would do 15 min on the bike and then get off and do 10 min of squats, lunges w weights, superman lifts and push-ups and then get back on the bike for another 15 min repeating the circuit)
B – Tim Horton’s green tea and strawberry yogurt & berries ( I really wanted a bagel and vanilla cap but decided it wouldn’t be the best choice)
L – big veggie salad w gr onion, red pepper, cucumber, strawberry, black olives, carrot & ff tomato oregano dressing mixed w 1 can tuna drained in water.
Snack – 1 cup mint green tea
D – 2 cups Smart spaghettini w home made sauce – ground lean pork, canned tomato, tomato sauce, peppers, onions, garlic, seasoning. (I originally only had 1 cup but it was soooo good I went back for seconds!)
Exercise – 20 min treadmill (180 cal, 1.3 miles) 10 min arm workout with 10lb dumbbells.
Snack – WW chocolate protein smoothie w water (only 1 point)
I used all my points exactly today and was pretty proud with the snacks again – I knew because I had so much pasta I didn’t need anything and I didn’t wake up starving!
Oh I had 1 bite of my hunnie’s ice cream – his mom brought over a 4 litre container last Sunday and my hunnie has almost finished it off!! I couldn’t believe it when she brought it in the house! I was like “bring it home and don’t leave it here” and she just laughed!
I’m getting pretty excited to go dancing with the girls on Saturday night. I’m going to get a good work out in at Kettle Bell in the morning so I don’t feel so guilty about all the drinks I’m going to have. I just can’t dance unless I’m drunk – I think too much about what I’m doing and who’s watching me.

Oh girl! That doctors visit does sound like one I had. I was getting my skin checked for moles and was told to undress down to my underwear.

This old dude came in and inspected my skin from head to toe, even lifted my boobs to check underneath and in between areas were the skin touched. I knew he was just doing his job, but dang!! I was so embarrassed!! He was using a huge magnifying glass too! He even slid my undies down a bit to do some more scoping and I couldn't wait for it to be over. I hear ya, a woman doctor would have been more comfortable for me too.

I think doctors touch people so much during the days that they are desensitized and just go through the motions.

I'm confused as to what you were at the doctor for? If your hip was messed up, why was he up in your breast area? Weird!! Sounds like he did a real thorough exam girl!!
