From alpha testing to the QUERCUS 200

I love squirrels too, and if I ever saw an armadillo I'd be excited beyond belief. But I know they can be pains in the rear! And hominy, yum, they don't know what that is here in New England and I miss it. I actually think I brought a can from Oklahoma, gotta go search the pantry now.

251.6 lbs or 114.1 Kgs this morning for a new low by 0.2 lbs.

We have possums Cate. In fact I live on Possum Hollow. The culprit was a young raccoon. I found the muddy prints yesterday evening. It got every seed from every pot.

I've shared the love with E and she says you're all too sweet!

Thanks Mystic!

Well it happened. Big drop this morning!
248.8 lb 112.9 Kg -2.8 lbs since yesterday -1.3 Kg and -5.8 lbs or -2.6 Kg for the contest

-84.4 pounds since the begining of 2014 and I have passed the century mark from my WLF join weight 349.9 in December 2012 to 248.8 today makes 101.1 pounds lost since I've been hear. E and I have lost 143.2 pounds combined.

Yesterday made 4 sub 30 minute 5Ks in a row. I'm quite stiff this morning, but I am going for it again this evening. At least the 5K if not the sub 30 minutes.

Thanks LaMa!
Thanks Mystic!
Thanks Cate!

Of course the weight bounced back to the 250s today, but I guess that is just how this is going to be. I ate chips and salsa on Saturday, but otherwise my diet has been fine. I did short runs Saturday and Sunday so my 5k streak is dead. I plan to try again today. Maybe 5k all week with easier weekend runs? I don't know.

My bf% is hovering around 25%. I think that means I will be pretty lean at 198.

25% when you´re 50lbs away from your goal sounds pretty awesome. How tall are you again? A 5k streak seems like overkill, but then again I thought something like that when you started your running streak as well :) I really am no runner!

25% at 50lbs still to go? You must be feeling much slimmer Q. 5k streak does seem like a big push, especially with the other stuff you do. Cheers, Cate

5k streak is a lot. You could maybe try to do three 5k's a week, or maybe 4 but with no rest breaks asking your body to do that much running is a lot. My workout schedule seems crazy (runs 5 days a week ranging from 5-16km's and weights 3 days a week) but my body does get 2 days off!

Thanks everyone!
LaMa I'm 6' 3" or 1.91 meters tall.

I'm pretty happy with 25% as that means I have lost very little lean body mass while I've lost my weight.
5K streaks are a lot, but I'm trying again. I'm listening to my body and I don't want to be injured so I will stop when I need to.

I ran a 28:53 5K last night and lifted weights. I went off with my diet last night and it was nice. I was hungry and I needed the break.

I'm back on track today and the body feels pretty good. I may stay away from the scale for a few days and let this get worked off. I'm trying to take it easy mentally while I challenge myself physically.

Good thinking Q. I think I should stay off the scales for a few days, or I may just smash them!

Ok, at that height 198 lbs is really quite slim for someone athletic. You do realize that if you want to lose only fat until that time you´ll have... 6% body fat? Not sure if I´m calculating correctly here :)
Staying away from the scales until saturday here too as I was quite naughty yesterday!

Thanks Mystic! I beat it last night.
I share your feelings Cate.
I'll likely lose more lean bodymass as I get close to my goal, but if I hit a good bf% before I hit 198 then I'll be done.

Day 258 of the runstreak was a 28:41 5K. I went home and mowed and planted peas afterwards. I am ready for the ridiculously hot weather to pass.

You can plant peas this time of the year? Now I have to go google Texan climate :) I would be really happy to have an end to the heat here but it´s nowhere in sight yet.
