From alpha testing to the QUERCUS 200

Thanks Jade, it's great to see you around again!
Thanks Mysric!
253.0 and 26.8% BF this morning. That's 1 pound away from a new low. I'll try my best today and just see if it happens for tomorrow. That seems like a huge drop this far into being back on track. I'll be fine either way.

Okay so apparently it's day 238 of the run streak for sure.
I was 1 second slow of my 5k PR tonight coming in at 28:39.
I ate very lightly today and drank lots of water. I'm hoping for a new low in the morning

Thanks Cate!

So I am 252.0 and 26.4% BF
That's a new low by 0.2 pound. So I have managed to start my 40s at my lightest adult weight. Now to get to the 240s.

Thanks Hobbio and Lama!
The weight bounced up a couple pounds this morning after a late salty big dinner. No cake or booze or anything terrible and I wore a size large Polo today that hadn't fit before and my already trimmed belt needs new holes. In other words I am not too worried. I would like to hussle to the 240s though.

Thanks Cate!

Welcome to club 40s Q. It's not so bad once you get adjusted. Congrats on the new low. The 240s will be here very shortly.

And what a wonderful way to 'welcome in' your 40's! You probably feel better about yourself than you did 10 years ago. What better gift could you give yourself!

V is right...the club is not so bad once you get used to it! :)

Awww I'm sorry, I didn't notice it was your birthday. this is (roughly) Happy birthday in Welsh

Thanks Mystic!
Thanks Polly! That's a first!

So I stayed really busy this weekend. Hung out with friends Friday, kayaked with E Saturday and Sunday, and ran every day of course. The weight has bounced back up a bit. I guess it is going to be a fight for the rest of this.

Your body & brain is doing what it can to hang on to every skerrick of fat that it can. You'll get on top of it Q, xo Cate

The kayaking may have caused some water retention in those muscles which could have played tricks on your scale. I jumped up by over 4 pounds today from my low! Haha

I agree with all the above :) I´m sure you´ll end up convincing your body you´re not only serious about this but it´s actually a good thing to be fit, healthy and lighter.

Thanks Cate, Mystic, and LaMa!
I have been lifting with more effort and consistency lately so that may have a temporary influence.

I do need to be vigilant about my food intake as well. Working outside yesterday running 2 miles, and lifting left me too beat to be productive at home. That is fine, but I ended up snacking while I laid about. I have to avoid that.

The weight was down 2 pounds this morning but still above my low. I think I may take a break from the scale as a reward for eating right. I'm not happy with it and as long as I don't snack in the evening I'm not going to weigh for a bit.
