From alpha testing to the QUERCUS 200

That's no good Q, but I know what you mean about it good that it's not another food intolerance/allergy. Get well soon xoxo

Well I felt pretty awful yesterday PM, but I felt much better by bedtime. I'm hopeful that I am on the mend.

I'm in the field Monday and it's predicted to break 100 degrees. It's the first time this year which is a mild summer for here. That's close to 40C for the rest of the world.

1.5 miles for day 226
I was going to do a 5K, but asthma screwed me over. I tried to run without using the inhaler first and that didn't work. I'm fine now.

yea, it seems like it's hot everywhere. Have friends in German saying they are in the high 30's, as well. We've been in the mid to high 30's and got over 40 a couple times now for the last few weeks. Many people down in the States have probably heard about all the fires that we've had in BC (thanking us for the smoke, I'm sure). We've blown our entire fire fighting budget already and summer just started. Hard to exercise in the heat, never mind the smoke.

Yep the heat sucks and it's here to stay until mid September for us.

AllCdnBoy, I lived in Seattle for a long while and so I've been to BC a few times. I never would have thought it got that hot there. Stay safe man. We are fortunate that we had a very wet Spring and early Summer so no fires here. We had really bad ones a few years back when we were in a drought and that was scary. Ash falling on the house and yard like snow. We lucked out that it didn't reach us, but it was close.

I ended up doing a short run out in the heat today so that maybe it isn't so bad working outside tomorrow. My eating hasn't been great this weekend, but I'm not drinking and i did quite a bit of lifting, stretching, and foam rolling in addition to the daily runs. Maybe the lifting is stimulating my appetite, but I have been really hungry lately. I've ranged from 259 to 262 this weekend, but I wore some size 34 shorts for the first time today as they were too tight before so something is working the right way.

I definitely read of a lot of people that feel very very hungry after lifting so you aren't along in that.
Awesome job fitting in those shorts!

Thanks Mystic! I just kept super busy last night to keep from overeating. I'm going to do that again tonight and see if I can't get over this hump. I mowed and weeded with a headlamp last night.

Yesterday was 1.25 miles with a 8:20 mile for day 230.

Sure hope it gets easier again with a bit of consistent healthy (and moderate) eating. If that results in a perfect garden (or in my case: a clean apt) all the better :)

I'm focusing on cleaning tonight. There is always plenty to do. I'm actually kind of excited to try to turn this into more of a new habit rather than a short term fix. It would be nice to have a clean house and neat yard and garden. I need to start a prioritized list.

Lists work, but like anything else it's easy to get slack with them. Only getting up to 41 Euro Degrees here today in AZ, so it's not gonna be all that hot. Every now and then (maybe once every other year) it threatens to make it to 50. You pretty much stay inside that day.

Yuck Vee! We got the AC in the house fixed yesterday so it's much nicer. It was kind of working, but it wouldn't cool once the sun was out.

Mystic it is against my tendencies to do so. I tend to be very cluttery.

So last night I was really hungry which means I got a ton done. I have a truck full of electronics to be recycled and clothes to be donated. I cleared my back room out enough to set up my lab area with stereo scope. I bought lumber and latch to repair a gate, loaded the dishwasher etc.

Also a hot mile ran on the road.

Thanks Mystic! Thanks LaMa!
I stayed busy until 10pm last night. I'm getting so much done! I cleaned out the laundry room and rearranged furniture so we can put in a a utility sink. I did 3 loads of laundry, dishes, trash, compost, and some cleaning. Dropped off electronics recycling and donated another bag of clothes. I ran 1.25 miles in 10:11 too.

257.2 and 25.8% BF. So the good news is that it's working.
