Good job on avoiding those donuts! Even though it was your impatience that gave you that extra little kick you still avoided it. If I want something so badly I'd definately wait it out, so you're stronger than you think
Hey there Tom! Thanks so much for checking up on me . Without my having to review several pages of your very swiftly moving diary, what's going on with the plateau/accumulated calorie deficit? Sure hoping things are going better for you. What Cym said about your time being worth more than those nasty (though surely delectable) doughnuts was really interesting and quite true. Good for you, and for once, be thankful for long lines. P.S. Can you believe that Ashcroft, of all people, wouldnt even go as far as the B/C dictatorship?
Occasionally when working out, especially on the eplitical trainer/thread mill, I pull out flash cards, to study.
Hmmph, maybe I should reconsider doing this (i think its a good use of time, heh)
Good job on the donut place! My uncle offered me a Klondike bar yesterday (not sure how many calories, I had, but i already hit my 1800 for the day), and I politely turned him down. He was like "comon adam, just one little ice bar", and I told him its the little things that add up.
Keep it up, at the end of the year, I am sure we'll see some huge improvements.
Didn't know impatience is a virtue.... ha.
Good for you Tom!
I read somewhere to wait for abt 10min for the craving to go away. Does work sometimes for me hahah.
I read that too, but some of my cravings last for hours. UGH!
I wonder what's going to happen to us when we do reach our target weight? Will we all stay on WLF? I wonder how many of us will keep with our new lifestyle. It would make an interesting study. I view WLF as part of my change, an important ingredient in not just getting to my target but staying there.

I'm looking forward to reading your journal once you reach your goal (inevitable) and begin to maintain.![]()
I have this image of homer simpson - mmmm donuts![]()

I am ignoring all the above posts as I REFUSE to even think about donuts this morning.....so Tom, let's make a deal - if I'm still maintaining in 14 months you have to keep a maintainance journal for the next 12 months.![]()
Eavesdropping on maintenance conversation. The friendships here will keep us coming back, too.
Hi Beth. You know, I never really cared for Krispy Kreme that much. Compared to the VG Donuts in Encinitas, they're crap. Actually, the Krispy Kreme here in Encinitas went out of business. Guess they couldn't compete with the local places, which are much better.
I better stop talking about donuts, though -- it's starting to get my craving going again![]()
