now I'm confused; so are YOU going to do those wacky tacky exercises? Or just some of them?
What I meant by the crazy crap he does are things like 80lb weighted one arm ab roll outs, or triple clap push-ups or weighted glute raises. I may surprise myself but there are tons of elite athletes that have been training for years that can't do those things.
yeah, it's definitely about adaptability but FUCK, those are bloody difficult exercises! That's pretty amazing you're interested in this. What does your wife think of your exercise interests? Is she all supportive or is she like, "Honey, you're great the way you are now"?
I figured as much. Most people on here have supportive significant others, thank goodness! My ex didn't rally care much about anything I was into. Good luck on the training!
Pistols, huh.
Fun, fun.
It feels you don't have the strength to hold the out leg up high enough? Or range of motion?
I'm opposite to curvie. I can't get down un-assisted. I don't know if I cant come up or not. I have only done them with a pole and on the balance beam.
Steve Cotter is the man when it comes to the pistol.
Here is an article by him, I haven't read it in a while. Might be a nugget in there you can use but doubt much more than what you've read from Ross.
