hehehe, i'm loving the enthusiasm! i hereby join you in the 100 days of extra strong weight loss orientation....let's kick some serious a$$!
I am back with my whole being to losing weight, yesterday I somehow remembered some people that bullied me and I have now a plan of action... I have 100 days pretty much to reach my goal (then I am graduating and meeting all the bitches again for the graduation ceremony). These will be the most kick ass 100 days. So I invite you to join me on 100 days of extra strong weight loss orientation!

thanks ymcachick! yeah the elliptical has definitely helped break the boredom spell i was having so i now have renewed energy to keep going.

okay, i just got back from the gym today did: 10min treadmill and 60min elliptical.

as of today i've officially joined the calorie counting bandwagon. all this time i haven't been counting calories, just watching what i eat and that its all healthy. i actually opened a fitday account like in march fiddled around for a few mins but didn't do anything. so today i punched in typically what i eat in a day and found that i've been eating a little under my calories. i'm supposed to target 2200 calories if i'm exercising more than 60mins. as of today i've started increasing my food portions and logging everything into fitday.

Good for you for starting to count your calories. It's definitely not mandatory, but it can sure help you when you need to keep an eye on your weight.

I find it a little bit time consuming to keep track of everything, but once you start doing it it's as habit forming as brushing your teeth.
 
thanks dreamingblue, i guess i picked up all the necessary info along the way since there's lots of posts about it all over the forum so decided it was about time i started, i should actually thank you since i'd seen your post in someones diary with the website link about counting women's daily caloric intake, i saved it and decided to take a look today.

and yep, i'm still learning so it took me some time to input everything into fitday but like you say i'm sure in no time it should get easier.

since i've been eating the pretty much the same meals everyday for the past two months i'd gotten used to it and now the increase is actually leaving me almost a little too full...lol! i'll give my body a one week adjustment period since i'm almost certain the scale might go up for a few days and hopefully afterwards keep going down.

Hi! I just read through the last few pages of your diary, and I'm really impressed by your dedication to the gym and calorie-counting. It looks like you're steadily losing weight, and in a healthy way - I'm inspired! It's motivated me to try harder, because it shows that if a person puts the effort in, there will be results. :) Keep up the fantastic work...you're doing great!
 
hey kakutzi, thanks for stopping by! yeah i know about upping the calories isn't easy especially since i've been eating the same amount for a few months now...about adding your diary link to your signature, all you need to do is go to the 'edit signature' page and one of the little icons should be titled 'insert link' then just paste your diary link there, it's basically in the same place where you pasted your ticker code. if you have any probs about it feel free to ask. glad you started a diary, will definitely check in. xoxo

hey 140lbs, thanks for stopping by, and for the kind words. i think taking things one day at a time really helps because then i don't get so overwhelmed by the amount of weight i have to loose. so everyday when i've done right by exercising/eating right i'm always left feeling a little better about myself and a little motivated to keep going on. all the best xoxo

heya...i remember getting that msg ages ago when i was doing my link but can't remember now what i did to solve it, i however remember trying to edit any unnecessary code to make it fit within the limit...like removing any 'bold' or 'colours' etc i hope that works?

had a treat meal yesterday, and just like last time gained 2.4pounds overnight so i'm not too worried since as before it was mostly water weight...i'm still curious to know what my weight loss will be like this week since i'm upping my calories as of two days ago.

otherwise today went to the gym and did: 5min treadmill warmup, 30min elliptical and 45min combat class

okay, i'd like to say that i'm doing great but i'm not. i'm adding weight, in the past 3 days i've put on 4pounds and i just want to cry. i've adjusted my calories upwards to eat what is required but my body is not responding positively. i'm going to give it 2-3 more days...i can take the scale giving the same reading but if it gives me a higher reading i'll be genuinely concerned. i guess i just feel like the hard work i've done the last couple of weeks is being torn to shreds. will keep you all updated and thanks for all the support xoxo

And sometimes our bodies just do this and you have to relax, not weigh yourself for a few days, keep exercising hard and eating well and you will see in a week you will have forgotten this and you will have lost the weight!

And sometimes our bodies just do this and you have to relax, not weigh yourself for a few days, keep exercising hard and eating well and you will see in a week you will have forgotten this and you will have lost the weight!
