Just a quick update:

As of today I have lost 105 pounds yay! and really happy about it (started august 2014 at 378 pounds and today weighed 272 pounds).

It's a really long road and it's different for everyone but I started by just cutting calories then 10 months ago started on keto (low carb high fat) and that changed my life completely and among many other health benefits lowered my blood pressure and has given me much more energy with no carb crashes (needing to nap in the afternoons) anymore.

I still have another 100+ pounds to lose (sigh!) but since i'm almost halfway can begin to see light at the end of the tunnel for once in my life (been obese since childhood).

My only goal every single day is to eat right just for today, tomorrow can take care of itself. And that approach has helped me throughout on this journey.
