It's been a logn time, how are you doing? Sorry to hear about the park incident - people can be such barstewards at times. I don't know what goes through people's heads to do such things.

okay, this is embarassing, it's been 4 months since my last confession (here)! oh how i've been a bad bad girl!

this year i have succeeded in adding all the weight i lost last year! :nopity:

it's like a bad joke, I can't believe i'll have to adjust my ticker from reading 40 pounds lost to only 8 pounds lost!:svengo:

But i've decided what's done is done, i can't look back and keep punishing myself for all that i've done wrong....the best way forward is to just start all over once again. The journey begins once again :driving:

but we are in this together, the good thing is you are back :D

Wow, so it's been 5 years since i was last here? A whole lot has happened since. I gained back all the weight I lost and then some.

I ballooned up to my all time highest of 378pounds last year and decided enough was enough. So exactly a year ago today i made the change and have since lost 77pounds...I'm down to 301 pounds now. Just a hair away from being in the two hundreds which I haven't seen in over a decade.

I wish i stuck to all my hard work 6 years ago when i joined this forum, i would have been so much further ahead....but no regrets, can't change the past but can work on the present to change my future. Till then, i'll continue plodding on.

I work out 5 times a week, 3 days strength training and 3 or more days cardio. And I've been on the ketogenic diet for over 3 months now and it has worked really well for me....calories varying from 1500-1900ish. All of this has been working well for me, so far so good so i'm sticking to it for now.

Welcome back to the forum cherrygarcia. It sounds like you plan on succeeding. You know you can as it's worked before & is working again. We'll celebrate with you when you reach the 200's in no time at all. GO YOU! Cheers, Cate

Yay! so glad to here i'm not the only low carber/ketoer....i've tried loads of "diets" in my lifetime but this is the first that has ever really worked for me so i'm sticking to it, and glad to know i'm not alone!:)
 
Today's workout I was feeling pretty drained, i think it's because shark week is due sigh, anyway, did:-

- back extension machine:- 3 x 10 - 70lbs
- bicep curl and press: 3 x 6 - 15lb dumbells
- butterfly curls: 3 x 6 - 15lb dumbells
- tricep kickbacks: 3 x 6 - 15lb dumbells
- cable abductors: 6 x 6 - 2lbs
- leg press: 4 x 10 - 200lbs
- tricep pushdowns: 3 x 6 - 5lbs
- chest press - 4 x 6 - 75lbs
- lat pull downs - 6 x 6 - 75lbs (close and wide grip)

- Finished with 1 hour walking on treadmill

Ate within cals.
 
Today was a cardio day, did:-

- 1 hour treadmill walking (3.1 miles)
- 20 mins recumbent bike

Ate within cals. Will see how i'm feeling tomorrow and decide if to make it a rest day or not.

Currently weighing in at 299.6 pounds. It feels so good to be finally out of the 300 club....haven't seen twoderland in almost a decade!
