I'm so glad I have got back into golf. I feel a bit proud of myself too but am still quite a bit shocked at how well I did. When they called my name out again for a raffle prize, I put my head below the table & raised my arm. That got a few laughs. It was so much fun!I love Anne Cleeves' books- the Vera & Shetland series. If you haven't read any start from the start & work your way through. I also love Donna Leon's Commisario Guido Brunetti series. There are so many of each & I love them. Also Louise Penny's Three Pines series with Chief Inspector Garmache. I think you would like them all. I have to like the main character usually.Anything interesting on the reading list? I must get back into my Agatha Christie's again.
Good thing you don't have to deal with professionally anymore. You'd hope that behavior like that in an organized setting could get penalized somehow. I really, really hate it when drunk people get loud. Sober people as well, but drunk is way scarier. My tolerance for aggressive drunks is now non existent.
that sounds like the wiser choice--the one I would make too anyhowI don't cope at all well with aggression. I won't be going to his pool matches again. I would much rather stay at home with Arch.
That sounds great! You still get a lot of exercise in a ride on cart & it would enable me to play 18 holes & play more regularly.
It sure is, LlamaMaking new connections and strengthening old ones is so important![]()
I think it has been fear of bursting my aorta. My cardio says I'm not to lift anything more than 5 kg. I'm going to push through this time. I'm looking forward to seeing the physio on Wednesday.I think you've mentioned wanting to build muscle several times in the past couple of years. Do you know what it is that's kept you from reaching that goal?
