Hi, Cowboy!
We have made the decision to stay & it feels good. We both love living up here, away from other people. We are both very sociable but also love our own space & privacy. We are not at all ready to move into a town. Our 50 acres doesn't require too much work & we will get help if we need it. It feels good to get some things fixed up. Having the electrician fix things up yesterday only cost $250 cash & there was quite a list. It helps that they know you will pay them straight up. Fencing will be a lot more but will make catching our sheep a lot easier next time & that is our biggest hassle with the land.
Greywolf Golf Course looks wonderful. G & I just had a look at their website. Maybe we'll fit a night in there when we eventually get to Canada. I know that we would love Canada. I think I told you that I have a niece who lives in BC. She & her husband own a restaurant there. We really must go visit them one day! Canadians & Australians seem so similar. I know you should never generalise
I am feeling back on an even keel again. It is such a relief. I'm back to feeling me again.
G & I just went & did some shopping (22km return trip) as he couldn't go to a working bee at the golf club this morning as it was raining. We are now going to have a lazy afternoon reading in front of the fire. Tomorrow he'll play golf & I think that I will have a fast day (<500 cals) & do some exercise (maybe stationary bike & some light weights to music).
