You doing better at this time of year is no small matter - whatever the cause is - so I´m really happy to hear it!
Thanks, LaMa. You're right. I don't usually do well through Winter, but am feeling fine. In fact, I think I'm better than fine

I'll stick with this low-dose & give it a chance.
Not on Goodreads anymore, I guess I was just curious about what kind of stuff you like to read.
Glad to hear you are getting good sleep. It's probably my number one thing to feel better.
I like to read mysteries mainly. I love the Donna Leon "Guido Brunetti" series, set in Venice, Alexander McCall Smith's No. 1 Ladies Detective series, his 44 Scotland St series, Ian Rankin's Inspector Rebus series, Angela Savage's books, set in Thailand, the Harry Bosch series (can't remember the author)........mostly detective books.
Sleep is SO important. I am hopeless without a good night's sleep!
It sounds like something is really working for you. I'm glad!
Thank you, Jess. I have spent most of my life trying to manage my moods on my own & mostly have succeeded, but the time came to give meds a try. Sometimes I think I can be my own worst enemy as well as my own best friend. There's no point being so set against something that may work against your better interests.
I went out early to golf yesterday as G dropped me off on his way. I got the fire going nicely & had a hot drink while I waited for the others. I managed to play just with K, who is lovely. We had a really good day & I played quite well I just relaxed & enjoyed it. She's great company. We got in quickly & had to wait ages for the others. I won the day & had fewer putts than anyone else. We sat around for a while, drinking wine & chatting. It was nice actually. When G came one of the women said "You can't go yet, I haven't finished talking to you", which was funny I thought. I managed to avoid feeling stressed about the club, so feel that's a big step.
We just had an electrician up to the house to fix a few things that have needed to be done for ages. The list was getting bigger & bigger & it's great to have that ticked off. We have both decided to stop even thinking about moving, so are having things fixed. Fence repairs & a couple of new gates are next
G & I are having a bit of a lazy day today. I'm not counting calories at the moment. It seemed to add more pressure that I wasn't ready for. Eating gluten each day until next Tuesday has me feeling very bloated & I don't think getting on the scales is a good idea.
