Calling everyone from the UK

Hi i too from UK and thought i would say hi
 
Hi! I'm from Bournemouth.

Just been to see nurse at doctors clinic this morning - have to loose 1/2 a stone in the next 4 weeks and they will put me on weight loss tablet that makes you pooh out all fats in your diet. :ack2:
Have to prove that I can do it on my own though first. Also going to check bloods for thyroid and polycystic ovary syndrome :confused:
 
Bit belatedly onto this thread, but hi, another UK (ooh, that's so American - what the heck, I'm English! lol) bod here.

Thought: If to be successful in this I need to be a loser, does that mean if I fail, I'm a winner? :biggrinjester:

Read the sections on nutrition and exercise.

Walking is a brilliant form of exercise.

Why do they suspect that you may be a PCOS lady? Do you already exhibit any PCOS symptoms (e.g. tendency to put on weight easily, problems regarding hair, skin, fertility).

I moved to the UK two years ago, and am living near Manchester now. Does that count? :)

I live in Liverpool so not far from Manchester - I know what you mean about the (complete lack of) sunshine. Looks like you are doing well with your weight loss so far, good luck with the rest of your journey. Feel free to drop by my diary any time X
 
I'm originally from Germany, born and bred there for 30 years...*lol*...then moved over to the UK to get married. I thought I couldn't actually find a place that has more rain than Germany, but I guess I managed to find one after all! *lol*

hi all I live in port talbot wales,I think there a lot of members in the uk,I am back on my diet after months off it,I am determined to loose at least a stone and a half before christmas, bye for now

Welcome to all the new UK people that have been posting to this thread since I last looked in. I havent been round the forum too much recently since I have been on holiday in Greece (getting some much needed decent weather!!!!)

Lots of people get the impression that they are the only UK folk here until they get a good look around - but there are quite a few of us here really - and some have us have been here for quite a long time too!!!!

I hope that you all like the forum and find the support that you need to get where you want to be. It is always well worth joining the challenges - as they really do help people to stay on track.
