What does your circuit training consist of? And it looks like your weight loss stall is relatively new. When is the last time you took a dieting break?

Oh fack you too! If I say what's in my head, I'll have to head back to the gym to work out my frustrations. (I had to do that earlier, because of what Steve said this morning.) LMAO! Oh hush, you little antichrist! Love you too... you wicked perv. LMAO

-Sheryl

I think someone needs a cold shower!!! Well, you could at least PM it to me..haha. Damn Steve, what have you done to MGB???:rofl::rofl:

Are you familiar with Curves? It is like that. There are 9 machines on the circuit. I don't know what their names are, but they combined, they are supposed to work every major muscle group. The weight loss stall isn't that new. The last time I lost weight was August 15th, so its been a good three weeks, and prior to that, it wasn't moving that fast, either. I haven't had a dieting break since late May. I'm thinking about eating whatever the hell I want this coming week, and then going back on the diet. If nothing happens by Monday, I may just do that--unless you have a better suggestion..lol

Ok, Gotta run--my H wants to give me a workout! ;);)

1. I'm not a fan of low carb.

2. You need a break. 3-7 days of eating around maintenance.

3. Have fun with hubby.

1. I'm not a fan of low carb. I am not a fan of long-term low-carb. But I was willing to try anything--and as long as I can eat my carbs 2days a week, it's easier to handle.

2. You need a break. 3-7 days of eating around maintenance. Splendid! Now I just have to figure out what that is..lol

3. Have fun with hubby.

Fun was had. H is now fast asleep. I wore his ass out!!:rotflmao::rotflmao::rotflmao:

Thanks for the advice, Steve!! I appreciate it.

Oh no... that was a little less than an hour, damnitt! March your happy ass back in there and get to the "Succubus Mode!" Take it whether he likes it or not!!!! :D

Girl! Not everyone spends 2hrs at it like you do, you insatiable beast, you!! I read about your naughty antics in the Kevin Trudeau thread earlier. Geez you two were getting hot and heavy. I think any initiation I come up with for him will be a disappointment to him after all that! You take a cold shower yet?? And dare I ask what u r doing up so late???;)

Oh hush... "getting your fack on" is a stress reliever, hence my reason for the two hour slots. Some people meditate... others do yoga... Sheryl just rides the "bologna pony." LMAO Hey... after taking a shower, I swear... I pass out. Good stuff. Much better than a freakin' sleeping pill, right?

As for the kevin trudeau thread... oh hush... "cuffs," "tied", "biting", etc... are.... ummmm... forms of exercise... yah that's it. Steve was just giving me a few ideas of new workout techniques. (Shut up... and just take it for what it is.. LMAO)

Hahaha, this journal is *almost* too much.

:)

Kimberly, I'd guess maintenance to be around 12-13 calories per pound for you. Close enough for what you are trying to achieve.

And what you are trying to achieve is a reversal of some of the adaptations that took place during your long diet to let your body know, "hey, I'm not stranded without food. You'll get yours when needed, now just go back to shedding some fat like you were before!"

Let me know how it goes.

Well I've certainly walked into something here. [And it's so depressing when you're married and not getting any.] But at least someone's having fun. :] So, um, good morning BB.

*backs out quietly*

:rotflmao::rotflmao:My H says that when you get old like he is (35), you won't have sex for 2hrs anymore...lol. But hey, I've been with him since we were both 25, and I don't think we've ever spent 2 consecutive hrs engaging in horseback riding.

New forms of exercise?? Ha! Those aren't new to you, my naughty little pervette! Nice try, though!:rotflmao::rotflmao::rotflmao:

:) Yeah, I try to keep it exciting--with a little help from my friends..lol

I mean, I'm happy to eat that much--bring on the Ben and Jerry's peanut butter cup ice cream hahaha, but only if I'm not gonna gain 10lbs! I plugged numbers into a BMR calculator last night and it was about 2000cals. I like your figures better, though..:rotflmao::rotflmao:

Yes, that's what I'd like to have happen. I was losing quite nicely from mid-July to early August. Then it ground down to a halt.

Get back in here, girl! You can live vicariously through us! haha. I know, it's not the same. If you go back quite a few pages, you'll see something about a "rabbit." Or was that in Jenna's diary?? I can't remember--we criss-cross into each other's so much that it all blurs together. Anyway, you might wanna get yourself one of those things...lmbo. That could relieve your sexual frustrations since your H seems to be incapable of doing it. ;)

Meh, I'd shoot for 2500 cals for a week or so. Might you gain some weight? Certainly. Should you fret about it? Certainly not. Take more of a long-term posture of thinking wrt to this process. Weekly fluctuations shouldn't matter, especially when you're trying to 'reset' some of the metabolic stress you've caused.

It's all part of the game.

And if you are finding it next to impossible to shed lbs.... it's probably a necessary evil, unfortunately 1 step back in exchange for 2 steps forward.

I'm no expert, but what everyone else has been saying makes loads of sense! :) Enjoy a break from your diet (but don't overdo it) and see where it takes you.

I wish I had someone to go horseback riding with :beating:

That was in my diary... the discussion comes complete with an image :rotflmao:
