Bigger/cut arms?

lol ok. i never go to bed hungry. i usually eat SOMETHING before bed. ill just try harder to make it cottage cheese with cinnamon instead of left over steak :p

my 8 pack is taking more and more form i noticed after each workout. after i finish my ab exercises i just take a quick look in the mirror and i notice i can see my abs more and more without having to flex them. it doesnt hurt to constantly keep the hard/flexed right? that only tightens them more?
 
I've thought of a new way to 'log' things. instead of a day by day..minute by minute log, here's my WEEK LONG YET VERY BRIEF log.

From last sunday to this sunday:

Bad things I did:

had 2 pieces of cheesecake (one on tuesday one on sunday)
had potato skins (on saturday night)
missed breakfast (on thursday)

Good things I did:

cardio 5 days this week as well as run my ass off 4 nights waitering!
oatmeal and egg whites every morning!
no food that was processed at all! (besides the stuff in my bad things)
really hit home with my abs this week, did an extra set of weighted crunches. paid for it the next 3 days though..sore as hell! :p
arms have officially gained an inch from when i started 3 months ago. i know an inch isnt alot but hey it aint bad for only usin 20lb dumbells lol.
 
good stuff! those are some great results! keep up the hard work. maybe on those days you slip up and eat cheesecake or somthin, you could do a little bit more cardio then usual. then it'll give you a real reason not to eat it lol.
 
shinra, sounds like you're making kick ass progress. so tell me, how many times are you doing HARD abs sessions? and how many times a week are you doing cardio?
 
mondays and thursday - HARD abs
tuesday, wednesday, friday, sunday - cardio

also somethins kinda weird lol. i may still have it when i take pictures on the 20th but, as of right now lol..this is so weird its hard to say. my left side is flat. like i have no love handle there at all. my right side still has some love handle. so i look a like..stupid lol. i have a little curve by my hips on my right side, and flat down on my left lol. and is standing straight up lol. sigh..the body works in weird ways.

oh also im starting to feel my abs without having to flex them. good sign i assume?

ick ok just wanted to post this. its 1130 and i just had about 3 spoonfuls of cottage cheese. since i had no cinnamon i had it with some strawberries. is that ok? or too much sugar?
 
just so u guys know what im actually doing, maybe u might recommend something better or whatever. this is my routine:

mondays/thursdays:
weighted crunches on swiss ball 4x15
weighted half crunches on floor 3x10
weighted leans left and right 3x10 each

bicep curls 3x10
hammer curls 3x10

tuesdays/saturdays:

tricep dips 3x10
diamond pushups 3x10
tricep kickbacks (sometimes)
chest workouts are self resistance exercises (theyre working believe me, i have more chest muscle than most of my friends who bench)

am i doing too little? or too much? or am i just fine?

eat all the strawberries you want! berries are low in carbs (compared to most fruits), so eat them up :)
 
your workout routine looks pretty good.

im inspired by how much cardio you do, and your commitment to diet and weights. i'm upping my cardio big time now. i need to be cut for the summer as well, especially cause i just took some pictures now and i look like a beast. NOW I need a nice trim, ripped look.
 
u are a beast wolvie (no..honestly...your huge dude) :) thanks im glad i did something for someone else lol. cardio's fun! as im running i just try to picture the fat burning and melting off my body. while i AM commited to my diet, i feel as though i cheat way too much. since TODAY IS MY BIRTHDAY!!! i had a piece of ice cream cake. and on monday i had two ice cream sandwhiches CONSECUTIVELY. so while i do have oatmeal every morning, drink a ton of water, and have a decent amount of protein daily, i DO have my faults that are probably holding me back alot.
 
lol. one piece of ice cream cake and two ice cream sandwiches are too small to ruin results. relax.

:) thanks spock! tonite at work they're gonna have an ice cream cake for me (they do it for everyone) and im refusing to touch it lol. ill just bring it home and let me little brother pig out on it! :p

i just started doing vacuums thanks to rip. apparently that will help with more definition and keeping my stomach in.
 
screw it lol. im giving update pics a week early cuz i want to know if im still making enough progress to reach my goal cuz if not we're gonna have to step it up. i dont really notice any improvements visually at all. what do u guys think?

btw i just worked my arms yesterday so when i flexed them i couldnt really get much out of them lol theyre still tired the little bastards :p

well not quite but we do look similar (I think I'm a few years older)..

anyway looking good :) I would focus on the chest but it might be the lighting making you look a bit flatter.
 
you're making excellent progress. you were thin before, but now you are still thin with more definition, which i think is what you wanted. the 6pack is coming in well. keep pumping those arms hard.

oh and not to say you're a s.h.i.t.t.y photographer, but if you set up the camera to take a picture of you from about 3-5 feet away, you get a better picture of how your body is looking.

btw, do you ever do running?
 
my arms are small i know it so its ok. im hoping that if i just keep pumping them eventually theyll be a little bigger by the time summer hits. yea ill do that for ya tomorrow wolvie. ill set the camera timer for farther away. not "running" per say. i do HIIT for 20 minutes. every alternate day. in other words my schedule looks like this:

monday - abs/biceps
tuesday - hiit
wednesday chest/triceps/abs
thursday - hiit
friday - back/shoulders/abs
saturday - hiit
sunday - rest

rinse and repeat.

also...about that birthdaycake i SWORE i wouldnt touch, yea i had the biggest piece of them all. but it was MY birthday cake so i GUESS its "ok"

so...am i on track? cuz idk its probably just me cuz im anal about this all going according to plan. is there anything i could do to speed up the process? besides my new ab schedule. just curious if u guys have any secrets up ur sleeves. anything to maybe grow my arms faster or get those packs out faster? thanks guys :)
