Put on 2lb this week which is fine after my holiday in Paris. Went shopping for loads of fruit, veggies and other slimming freindly foods so hopefully I can loose that this week, and possibly a bit more.

Hay sorry i havent popping in for a while!

Congrats on the results! thats soooo amazing!
And the trip to paris so jealous! its one of my many places to visit
2lb is quite good then really if you were eating really yummy foods while away i know i put on that much if i have a few days off without eating anything nice!

Where are you going uni?
 
I am moving into student accomidation on saturday so I have been really busy getting myself packed and ready to go aswell as working a few shifts. Not managed to do much excercise but luckily we had 2 really busy days in work (I work in an emergency room) yesterday and tuesday so I think I have burnt off some calories with that!
Eating has been really good, I have been cooking alot this week so thats good. This Monday is going to be may last weigh in at the SW class near my mums house for a while (I have found another one by my new place) so im hoping for a good one.

Came back to my mums last night with slimming world and stayed over - don't have any uni stuff to do untill sunday (enrolment) so I can just go back to the flat later today.

My Laptop STILL isnt here, so I can't wait to get that now.

I lost 4lb last night in Slimming World, and got my 4 and a half stone award =D I will probabaly be going to a new class (nearer to the flat) next week so I have an extra day untill weigh in because that class is on tuesday.

Anyway, I might not be able to drop in for a while (depending on how soon my laptop arrives) so I hope every one is doing okay and i'll talk to you soon.
 
Sorry that I have been missing for so long - I have missed so much of your news.

Well done on your excellent exam results - it was great that the newspaper was so impressed with your achievements. You far exceeded the requirements for you to do the course of your choice. I always had confidence that you would do it.

You also did well to get your 4.5 stone award and be in new more fitting clothing.

I wont get over my holiday excesses nearly as well as you survived your holidays. I am currently stuffing my face at Athens airport.

I hope that you enjoy university life. Moving into the flat sounds like lots of fun.

Are you keeping up the hospital work now that uni is starting? It would be a shame to hand those new uniforms back in too quickly.
 
Loving Uni life so far but its allready starting to take its toll on my waist line! Been having many more nights out that usual so quite a few extra calories there, im not too worried though, just focusing on getting settled in and then I can start following S/W again asap.

Canceled my gym membership in the gym near my mums house, theres a few gyms nearby and I need to go and look at prices and things before I join. I have been doing alot of walking though - my flat is an up hill walk for the city centre so I have been doing that a few times a day and just trying to be as active as possible really.

I don't think I have gained a huge amount of weight, maybe a few pounds but nothing that can't be lost fairly easily. I might not be able to get to group this week becuase the one near my flat is at 11:30 and 12:30 on Tuesday, and typically I am in university from 12-1 so I won't be able to make that! There is on a short buss ride away Tuesday evening so I might try to get to that one, but i'll just have to see how it goes!

Anyway, I have my laptop now so no excuses for not visiting here often because I definatly need the support. Hope everyone is okay,

Not going to get to slimming world this week, its freshers week so party party party!

I am just going to carry on with the diet the best I can, and hopfully my timetable will allow me to go to one of the classes near by the flat, or even the one by my mums but ill only be able to make that one if I finish before 5pm on a monday. Not sure when I get my timetable, I have induction today and then again on friday so it should be this week. Looking forward to starting lectures, and just trying not too eat too unhealthily.

Okay, so I ended going out for a chinese today with people from my course - i feel like I have lost it a bit and am not eating as well as I usually do.
On the plus side I have been doing ALOT of walking so I don't think I will have gained too much weight.
I think moving into a new place has just thrown me a bit - I know thats a crappy excuse but im just not properly settled in yet I don't think.

Anyway, tomorow is a new day so im going to try and stay focused and make sure I write everything down which is a habbit I have gotten out of recently and I definatly need to start again.

I might try and keep a food diary on here because its something usefull to look back over, i'll start tomorow but it might not last long! looking forward to starting fresh tomorow.

Going back to my usual class near my mums to get weighed tomorow - I still havent got my timetable for the rest of the week so I don't know if I will be free for the Tuesday class nearby and im not willing to risk missing out on going this week alltogether!

I literally haven't been weighed (or weighed myself at home) for two whole weeks now so I have no idea what I weigh, but I honestly cannot wait to find out and then get going with a good healthy eating plan again.

Im not usually the kind of person to eat ready meals and prefare to cook for myself but living in halls with 5 of us sharing a tiny kitchen has made that quite difficult. I went to asda today and found this tomato and pasta bake which is only 75p and has 298cals and 2.7g fat so I bought a few and when I got in and checked the syn value on the slimming world website I found out that they are FREE!! I just had one for my tea and it was very nice. Cheap, healthy student food = perfect!

Anyway, just going to drink plenty of water tonight and look forward to getting weighed tomorow - I know If I have gained then it can be lost easily, and hopefully quickly!

Lost 1.5 lb tonight =D Going to the group near my flat next week so I have an extra day and will be wanting a good loss! got pleanty of healthy food from Asda yeaterday so no excuses! Im so close to my target now and so excired to finally be there although Im fairly sure I will want to loose a bit more after I get there.

Went into the shop underneith my halls today for a bottle of water and discovered that they have a Ben & Jerry's fridge! I'm devestated, I had been doing so well with my weight loss since living here and now I know that is there i am BADLY wanting some. Ben and Jerry's is my ultimate weakness.

So, this is the new challenge - I haven't given in to temptation yet but I know this will be difficult!
 
Eeek just gave into a mini tub of Ben & Jerry's

17syns on my plan so well over for today. Hopefully the craving will have been satisfied now and I won't feel the need to have any more!!
 
Going to the first meeting at my new class tomorow, im looking forward to going - feeling a little nervous though!

Will post tomorow after I have been weighed =)
 
Went to the meeting this morning, started at 11:30 according to the website but when I got there the consultant told me it wasn't untill 1pm! so I didn't stay to class but I got weighed and I gained 1.5lb, which is fine considering all the partying I have been doing this week!

Freshers is over now so I will be having fewer nights out - im looking forward to getting back on track and hopefully having a good loss next week.
I think I might start writing a food diary on here again, will start that tomrow.

Food Diary for today, Wednesday October 1st which was a green day:

Breakfast
Got up late so didn't have any!

Lunch
Sandwich made with -
2 slices of wholemeal bread (a healthy extra 'B' choice)
42g full fat soft cheese (a healthy extra 'B' choice)
42g reduced fat cheddar cheese (a healthy extra 'A' choice) and
3 slices of Quorn chicken style slices, which are syn free.

Tea
Chicken and mushroom flavoured cous cous and a can of sugar free Red Bull which are both syn free and a Lettuce, tomato and cucumber sandwich which was 9 syns.

When I got home from work I had some cucumber and cherry tomatoes with Marmite, and then a strawberry yogurt and some blueberries which are syn free.

Total syns for today: 9



I feel like I did really well today because I used my syns on a healthy sandwhich instead of something like chocolate and there was a chocolate fudge cake and a tin of Roses chocolates in work and I didn't have any of either of those. Kept my syns below 10 (which I always try to do) and so I think it was a good day overall =D
