Thanks TLA - you will be where I'm at - it's just a matter of time :)

Just wanted to drop in and say have a wonderful day!!

You have a wonderful day too :D

How's it goin' M2M!!! Hope you have a great day!

Thanks Kaitie - I hope your day is great too!!

Just popping in to say good morning! *OHD waves* :)

...and just a lil' FYI, never get Kashi protein bars, they SUCK! IMO anyway

Good morning girl! I'll take your word on the Kashi - I stick with the Pria Complete!

hi m2m! saw your post in my diary :) just wanna say, all the best! you can do it! :D

Hi Audrey, thanks for stopping by! We BOTH can do it!

Your mpm is really coming down nicely. What is a good mpm to be competitive ?? (ballpark figure)

I gotta say, I just love the passion you have for better living. Take a bow Debi. :)

Fortunately, no hangover :D
It's just a big fat bummer that I had no control over myself and the artichoke dip ;) The person who made it, cut the fat by changing some ingredients, but that stuff is definitely high octane when it comes to calories.

Artichokes are awesome for you. They are loaded with good fat. Good fat helps burn the bad fat.

Runnersworld.com has a program of running and walking that goes for like 20 weeks that is pretty good, just FYI.

Yeah, basically all I ever read is my subscribed thread, and I am saying Hi so I am subbed to yours.

Eeek - I don't know as I've never been competitive IRT walking before. I know the Half Marathon I'm looking to walk in January says you must be able to complete the 13.2 mile course in 16 minutes per mile and the other two affiliated races say that you have to complete their 13.2 mile course in 13 minutes per mile. Granted, they are more designed for runners/joggers.

I gotta say, I just love the passion you have for better living. Take a bow Debi. :)

Thanks T2 - It might just be my narcissitic side shining through ;) See my post on rewards in the club section!

Thats true - but in the past I would only eat one artichoke a year - simply because I have always loved it with mayon! That, and it is the one vegi that must be organic IMO - if not, as they are growing, the pesticides that are sprayed on them get absorbed down into the globe of the artichoke where it sits and gets absorbed into the heart  The dip however, is all mayo, parmesean cheese, cream cheese, etc. ACK! ;)

Thanks FGT, I'll check it out. My plan is to alternate my walking and jogging until I'm jogging more then walking, and making better time. As it stands now my walking time is almost as good as my jogging time!

I'm glad you did :D I always feel so inspired when I stop by your journal, but the last few days, I've been terrible about getting to very many!

grrrr apparently mapmyrun doesn't like us smalltown Canadians... bastards! lol

Looks like a pretty neat site though, until I move to a more urban area, I'll just have to go without mapping.

M2m, you're mpm is marvelous! Keep up with the magnificent work! (trying to throw as many "m words" as possible)

There are some other sites that do the same thing Mike. I will look up the links tommorow at work. Yeah, at work.

Aha! I knew I'd find it. Back on page 65. Ontario comes up.

Sounds like a great day. I'm so jealous of your walking numbers :p
I use Runningmap.com, less clutter ;)

Have a great weekend!

Howdy M2M! Just crashing in on your site.

Hey...it's me again. :p

Yea, those Kashi protein bars taste like dusty cardboard dipped in old chocolate. You'll DEFINITELY drink your water...you have to in order to get that pastey taste out! Did I mention YUCK?! The Kashi man needs to eat the box that those things came in, hell...it tasted like I ate the box. Now the EAS cookies and cream bar was rather enjoyable.

Ok..enough of that rant, but I had to warn you. :)

The problem I have with counting calories and my obsessive personality is on nights like last night, I just have NO idea - I can guestimate about 400 calories of alcohol, it was a very small martini, and a small shot of jack and two beers.

Heres a great site on all the calories in alcohol.... It taught me that my beloved Mikes Hard Lemonade has  240 calories!

I resurfaced...LOL

Just couldnt do it last night, LOL...I havent been here for one full day, heeheehee...too tired and home late and ,munchin up really early yesturday morning...that is usually my comp time, uninterupted...in the norning...early morning...anyway after that lil rant abt nothing have a great day...
