377lb to 215lb

AWow, this is amazing! You look incredible, and so much younger. Great job, I've read your blog too. I hope I can get just as motivated.

It's great to see you turn your life around. I know loss, as well, and it's hard to break out of that shell (I'm still kind of there, and it's never easy), but seeing this really helps.

Thank you for sharing.

Thanks jen!

Yeah, I think it's safe to say I have more reason to smile nowadays than I did before

Mila's energy also helps with that too sometimes - she definitely keeps me on my toes :p

Thanks Loch!

It wasn't easy and it's still difficult more often than not to keep it going, but the knowledge that I could be helping someone else with their motivation helps keep me focused

I'm happy to share any and all aspects of my regimen. It's pretty much stayed unchanged, aside from having to adjust my calories due to my smaller size :p

Also, it's kind of expensive with having to consistently buy new wardrobe and having to restock on my specialty bars/shakes every few weeks, but it's worth it!

That really means a lot

I hope everything is going well for you too!

I also dealt with depression!!!! I am taking a generic for Celexa to manage the depression and Lamictal for Bipolar...if i just was able to drop the weight and STAY on my healthy/moderate way of eating I probably would never be depressed lol I remember 'back in the day' when I was losing and getting thin I was the happiest person ever...losing weight is great 'medicine' lol P.S. no more depression since I've been taking the pills =D

Wow this is awesome. You've been killing this shit man. You're doing incredible, not too much to go. LOL nice spidey suit :p

Exercise is definitely good for depression

It's helped relieve a lot of mine. I still have moments where I struggle with it sometimes, but it's not nearly as bad as it was before

Thanks bud!

The Spidey suit is still a bit snug in some places, but I'm hoping to fill it out nicely someday! lol :p

Thank you so much my friend

It always gives me a boost of energy whenever I read such kind responses like this! I just finished 3 miles on the treadmill, and now I'm feeling like doing another 3 already

AAwsome job man. Very inspirational. I have gone from 326 to 258 in the past 6 months. I have a preliminary goal of 215 due to my large frame but may decide to to go to 199, if for no other reason than to see the scale below 200. Your story demonstrates it is doable. Great job, i'm sure your mom would be proud and thanks for sharing.

Thanks Bert!

I really appreciate your kind words, and AWESOME job on your own success! That's incredible to have lost 68 pounds in 6 months - well done! :hurray:

Aside from getting healthy and helping others with their own journeys, making my mother proud and honoring her memory is the main reason I've been so determined. I don't think I would've been nearly as successful without her as my biggest inspiration

In a way, she saved my life

AWESOME job! Thanks for sharing your story and the pictures. I love seeing before and after pics like this, it really helps us who are still on our journey to see that it's doable and worth it.

Oh, and I have to say, if I saw you walking down the street, I'd totally take a second look. ;)

Thanks mizzie!

It is definitely doable with the right motivation and proper support!

Hehe. And thank you kindly for your second comment! :blush5:

A bit bored while I wait to exercise, so I'm feeling like posting a few more Before/After pics to maybe help inspire anybody who is having trouble finding the right boost to exercise today

Here are some front and side shots from when I was 347 pounds.

And here are a few I took today while goofing around by the very machine that helped save my life

That shirt is a medium btw  And it felt loose! A nice change from the 3xxx/4xxx I was wearing I was wearing about a size 56 pants in those before pics - the jeans in the after shots are size 34

The best advice I can give to anyone is to just simply NOT STOP. Even if you succumb to temptation, even if you plateau for a week or a month, as long as you keep getting back on the wagon and don't lose focus, you will succeed! :hurray:

AYou're so handsome xD.

I can only hope to get to a medium! I went to a clothing store to look at some sweaters, and all they had were up to XL. I was too afraid to bother trying an XL (I'm a 2x). I still have t-shirts and pants from when I was thinner.

I want a treadmill so bad now! I can't help thinking that if it helped you so much, maybe it would help me. Then I could watch tv while I run! But I'm a bit weary on whether or not I should trust buying one used. Ah, well. You truly are inspiring.
