Thanks Trusylver :D That means a lot to me coming from you :D:D I plan on doing the simple exercises with no weights and incorporating the weights maybe two months from now when everything is a breeze :p
 
Rewards and Goals :D

I've been thinking about this A LOT lol but I cannot really decide all of what I want so here is what I came up with so far :D

Current weight 273
-25lbs: 248lbs reward-->pedometer
-25lbs: 223lbs reward-->heart rate monitor (I think it is here that I will start working on the C25K)
50lb milestone bonus: Telescope (if I can wait that long haha)
-25lbs: 198lbs reward-->New sneakers for running. My husband also promised to buy me scuba diving lessons!!! whopeeeee :D.

That's all I have figured out so far, but that should hold me until the end of the year ;)
 
OMG! You too?!? That's my reward for reaching my goal weight! Once I get down to 150, I get scuba lessons! That's too funny. :smilielol5:

Scout's honor I did not know that and if you wrote it in your diary I never saw it. I've always wanted to scuba the blue hole in Belize....hmmmm....maybe I can make my reward for reaching 123 a trip to Belize :D:D:D
 
Now, see, I don't see my pedometer as any kind of reward. For me, it's just the way to make sure I walk enough. I'd love one of those monitor/calorie counter thingies they wear on The Biggest Loser though. Hmm. Where's that hubby of mine....
And I would dearly love to do some scuba diving on our Barrier Reef, but alas I have chronic severe asthma, and so cannot scuba dive.

But you've got me thinking now about rewards. Mr Shadow is more than happy to reward me somehow, so I'll have to come up with something useful, yet exciting.

Ooh, can I come too? ;) That would be awesome. I've also wanted to scuba the Great Barrier Reef, but I don't see that happening.

Anyway, yes I'm serious. I did mention it in my diary, but it was one of the first entries, so it's probably easy to miss. I've actually been scuba diving before. I won't hyjack your diary here with the whole story, but the short version was that I had a Junior license when I was 12 and got to go a few times. It's been so long though, that I've forgotten everything and need to take the classes over. SO much fun!

And, for extra weight loss motivation, I just picture my current body in a wet suit... :ack2: :smilielol5:
 
Barrier Reef

:svengo:OMG what a dream!! What about snorkeling Mrs. Shadow? I think there are some parts that can be snorkeled and you will be shallow enough. I tried to pick rewards that will help me achieve my weight loss goals...hence the pedometer. I actually thought of it because you recommended it to me some time ago lol.

So tell me more about this calorie counting device thing.....:D:D:D

OMG You have no idea!!! I have a serious shoe and purse addiction and it can be quite an expensive habit for me so...I am trying to mend my evil ways and be more modest :Angel_anim: I just saw some hot high heeled sandals on DSW yesterday...and they are not there today:cuss:

BTW your avi pic is sooo sexy! Good photography :D I don't know if it's you or not but I love the hair.

Hijack away I don't care! I have never been scuba diving before but my husband and I were originally going to go to Guatemala and Belize for our honeymoon and I was going to take some then, but we changed our plans....seeing that I got laid off :nopity: haha

It's cool that you used to scuba when you were younger! I will try to find it in your diary...I didn't read the whole thing but I would love to read your scuba story :D You can link it here if you want to :)
 
I have been toooooooo busy...Yesterday I was barely home and the morning and afternoon were very busy for me today....so what do I do when I am not at home, hungry, and have no meals prepared with me? Eat fast food of course:smash: Drives me crazy! I am definitely going to get some meal bars...the shakes are good but I really do not have the time to mix them sometimes and when I am out and about it is easier to slip a meal bar into my purse or the baby bag.

I was very active yesterday. I even ran for the first time since being pregnant :D it really felt good. But considering everything, I will just count it as 40 minutes of walking, although I think I did much more than that, but I was too busy to keep track.

Good job on eating well and staying active! :hurray: Don't stress too bad about the fast food, we all do it once in a while. Heck, sometimes you really don't have a choice.

Ouch! Been there, done that. I used to miss two days of school every month because I didn't have the strength to get up off the bathroom floor and I was in the bathroom because the pain was so bad I would throw up. I used to tell my mom it felt like I was in labor and she's say I couldn't know that. Well, now I've had a child and I can say, it felt like I was in labor!

Well, the story really isn't in my diary. It's not much, but basically I went out west with my grandparents to visit some family when I was 12. My uncle was working at a scuba shop in Washington at the time and they decided to give us free lessons. We were only going to be there for 5 days, so we got a three day crash course. Two of videos, reading and tests and one of pool time. Then we went diving in the ocean three times over the next two days.

Once we went to some kelp beds and once we went to a sunken ship. One of those huge yacht things they use for tours. It was really cool and super creepy! There is an octopus that was supposed to hang out there a lot, but he wasn't there when we did our dive. Saw a lot of flounder, though. Most were about the size of my hand, but one was about the size of a truck tire. Scared the crap out of me when it came up out of the sand right in front of me (as in, I could have touched it!).

I never got to use my Junior license again. I didn't know there was a scuba shop not far from where I lived and I don't think my parents were that motivated to tell me. I'm sure cost factored in there, plus not knowing any scuba divers. Can't wait to do it again!!!

lololz cool story! One of my friends was swimming in the ocean and a 6 foot manta came out from the sand right under him! I wasn't there but he told me the next day and he was scared as heck lol.
 
Eeeeeee just the thought of being underwater freaks me out!! Let alone coming face-to-face with a big ugly demon fish!!!! :leaving:

:rotflmao: @ luzdafuzz! I love water. I always say I was a fish in a past life, or maybe something like an otter. I'm a million times more comfortable in water than on land.

Okay so working out for this week is shot! lolol I think I burned about 300 cals and then bloating and cramps has me curled up into a cute little ball on the floor :p Cute but not exercising :D I had some fast food again yesterday, and even though I watch cals and other nutrients, I need to try harder to have things conveniently ready so that I don't go that route. I also need to get in more water :D I'm thinking of having Zephyrhills deliver becoz when I have to drink tap...I do not really drink. Shopping is tomorrow so I think I will manage to get some protein meal bars and take some with me when I am out and about.
 
Didn't do so bad today :D I thought I was not going to exercise until my husband turned on the reggae :D:D 5 mins of dancing = 69 cals burned
