Vic’s Weight Loss

I really like raw oysters, when I was young we used to collect our own. Now I am a bit careful, only eat them raw occasionally. But when I do I really enjoy!

Well did not get to go for the oysters. It was too hot to sit outside. I was disappointed. Was looking forward to it.

I did end up eating scallops for dinner.

Was by my mom all day.

Yesterday I fell asleep around 10 pm and woke up early. So I did not eat last night. I ate my dinner later than usual. I’ll do the same thing today. Tonight I’ll go to bed and take my pills at 930 pm again.

Well last night I could not sleep. Maybe because I took my pills too early. I won’t make the same mistake tonight. So of course I ended up eating some fried fish that my brother made earlier.

Today I had a coffee with creamer and Splenda from McDonald’s. 2 for $2. Can’t beat that. One for me and one for my mom.

Had lunch. Then dinner was lettuce wraps with a little rice. Some beef and ground turkey. With avocado and cucumbers. And some kind of sauce. Isabel is a great cook. Every thing she makes is great. I wish I can cook like her and she is so creative.

Tomorrow we might be going to the beach. So I’ll get a lobster roll! Can’t wait!

Beach and a lobster roll sound great!

Better to wait until September to eat oysters anyway. You are only supposed to eat oysters in months with an R in them.

So I did end up getting my lobster roll at the beach.

Tomorrow going for a pedicure/ manicure. Going with my brother and mom.

Then I have to go shopping for the trip.

On Saturday my oldest brother is celebrating his 50th birthday at a state park. About an hour away and no reservations needed. So I know there won’t have any parking by the time we get there. I really don’t want to go. But he always comes to our get togethers.

I’m sure he’ll appreciate you going along to help him celebrate his 50th. I think 2020 has made me make more effort for others. I only have one brother & one sister left & no parents so I try to make more of an effort to keep in touch. Both of them live in Victoria where there is a 2nd wave of C19.
Yum to lobster roll!

So I went to my brother’s birthday party at the lake today. Ate a hotdog, a wing, 2 ribs, 3 shish kabobs And a glass of strawberry wine. I also had a breakfast sandwich From Panera and a large coffee with creamer and Splenda from heavenly. So a lot of food!

Tomorrow I’m going to nh for the week till next Sat. I won’t be checking my weight till I get back. I hope I don’t gain a lot.

Hi, Vic! Great that you managed to get to your brother's party - as Cate says, I bet you appreciated it. Have a good time in nh (which probably isn't New Holland ;)).

Here in New Hampshire. First day went well. Had a coffee with creamer and Splenda from DD. Had one red velvet munchkin from heavenly.

Went into hot tub.

Dinner was baked pork with pickled red onions. A little Seasoned rice and a little potato salad. I also had a s’more and a glass of watermelon wine.

Yesterday and today I ate too much.

We went for a hike at a local park. Tomorrow we r going to spend most of the day at the river. We were there yesterday. The water wasn’t too cold.

Today I had one cinnamon raisin French toast with no syrup. With 4 bacon. Lunch was a small slice of bread with cheese and salami. Dinner was roti and curry chicken. Then I had 2 small cinnamon rolls. I also had one mojito. And one mimosa.

Tomorrow I will try to do better!

Not much to do here in nh. We were too late in making reservations for the activities and even the state parks. We did go to a local park today and hiked on the trails. And I’ve been getting up and going for a walk every morning.

We made it to a park yesterday and was pleased that it was a lazy river with sand beaches. Sand was white. Water was clear. Cold but not too much.

I forgot my AirPods so I can’t listen to my music on my walks. Mostly everyone is wearing masks on the main road, which is the city center. We r only a block away from the center.

There is a train station on the other end of the field. It’s working but only goes up and down The mountain. At least that’s what I heard. I would like to go on the dining train. But no one wants to spend 40$ for each ticket. Since there are a lot of kids with us.

The hot tub on the property is nice. There are enough beds for everyone to not complain. I’m on the ground floor with my mom. There are a full bath on each floor. Which is great!

4 more days until we leave. Will enjoy myself and deal with the gain when I get back. On Saturday I will have a game plan set in place.

I’ll have to find out what river it is!

Rob, we r making them with simple sugar. I think I’ll try them your way with Splenda instead and see how they turn out!

Holiday on an unknown river, with lots of family! Sounds wonderful - as do the hiking trails. What sort of country is it you are hiking through? What kind of vegetation?
And I'm all for enjoying all that wonderful experience while it's happening - plus cheers for the game plan to emerge on Saturday! :hurray:

The Saco River is in Northeastern New Hampshire. It was shallow water at the spot we were at. Perfect for the toddlers.

So today for breakfast was a free for all. So I just had hot coffee with creamer and Splenda. Lunch at the river I had a bread with salami. And a Diet Coke with Cruzan black cherry rum. Dinner I had a cheese burger with one bun. I also had a little curry chicken and roti. And a s’mores! And a glass of watermelon wine. Some of a cheese plate.

Thanks, Rob!

Today is our last day here. Not looking forward to the scales... which I will check as soon as I get home tomorrow.

I haven’t been b/p. But I have been overeating. I hope I haven’t gained too much.

Today I had 3 beef pâtés. I had half a hotdog and half a sausage with half a hotdog bun. Then I had some fried chicken and rice and beans. I also had my last glass of watermelon wine.
