Pumpkin as a sweet hasn't quite made it to our country. I had pumpkin pie once at a dinner party at a vegetarian friend's place & have never even seen it since. Hope you enjoyed your birthday, hon xo

So was up late last night. Woke up around noon today. Planning on staying up all night tonight so I can sleep earlier tomorrow. Not planning on going anywhere.

Today I had a coffee with almond and donut holes. Will check my weight on Monday after I sleep.
 
So I ended up sleeping eventually. My weight is 145.0 lbs. Today I had a coffee with creamer and Splenda. And two red velvet donut holes from Heavenly.

Hopefully I can sleep at a decent time tonight. Last night I did 15 min of Zumba on YouTube. Today I’ll try to do 30 min.
 
This week begins good. My goal for this week is to eat less and move more. I’m going to try to work out twice a day this week. I’ll try to get up earlier and do a YouTube workout before I go by my mom!
 
I did a 30 min Zumba on YouTube.

Dinner was an egg scrambled with chorizo. With half an onion bagel. Ate dinner late so I can sleep early tonight. Will have glass of prune juice.

So I woke up late. Did not get my early workout in. But I’ll def do my night one.

I had a xl hot Jamaican me crazy coffee with creamer and Splenda. 2 red velvet donut holes. So yummy!

By my mom today.
 
So just did a 30 min Zumba workout video on YouTube. Feeling really good now. I plan on doing another workout in the morning. I bought some weights off Amazon. It’s in my car. I’ll get them in the morning.

I tried drinking water yesterday. I only had one 16 ounce glass. Back to drinking Diet Coke. I’ll try again today.

Still up. I’m trying again to stay up all night. Wasn’t successful this past week. But I won’t lie down tonight. Just watching tv. I mistakenly subscribed to hbo. So I have a lot of movies and series. But just watching the news. Maybe I’ll tackle my closet.

Today I plan on having the same breakfast. coffee and 2 red velvet donut holes. For some reason maybe because it’s so sweet. I enjoy this breakfast. It’s keeps me full until dinner. Dinner is veggies.

I probably won’t check my weight this morning since it will probably be inflated with all the liquid I’m drinking tonight. I’m not eating anything until my breakfast.
 
Well I ended up falling asleep. I was just too tired to stay up. My new plan is to just try to wake up earlier each day.

Was up till 4 am!!! Tried getting up early but couldn’t.

I think I’m going to stop eating the red velvet donut holes. And get my coffee with almond milk. Right now I’m stuffed. Had 4 donut holes, iced coffee with creamer, a croissant and popcorn.
 
Yeah have to do something different. I’m at a 24.9 BMI. Almost at overweight.

I just wish I can sleep at a normal time. Don’t know how to get back on a regular cycle. I am still taking ambien. Tonight I will try again. I will not take the ambien and try to stay awake. Last night I almost made it. Was up till 4 am. I cleaned my closet halfway. So I guess I will finish it tonight. I was watching a series and fell asleep!!!
 
So this winter I’m not going to St Croix and will remain here. I’ll wait until I get the vaccine before I go. A plus is that I can worry about my weight loss since both my brother and mom will be there and it will only be me. I just hope that nothing happens to them.
 
I have been taking high doses of melatonin which has brought my sleep cycle back to normal and helped with the lethargy during the day.
 
Thanks, Tru for the recommendation. I’ll go to Target in the morning and see if they have it. If not I’ll get it from Amazon.

So far I’m still up! It’s 330 am. Tonight looks like I’ll be able to do it. Not too tired. Plus Im planning on getting my fav breakfast in the morning.
 
So I made it. It’s now 530 am. And I did not nap. Feeling good. Not tired. So today I’m not going to take a nap and will not lie down until my bedtime. I’m hoping to be tired by then. Staying until dinner by my sis. Her husband will be gone until sat. She invited me to stay for dinner. Will be fun to play with the twins!!! They’ve growing so fast.

I am having breakfast. I’ve made two changes. One is that I did not get my 2 red velvet donut holes. Instead I got an egg and cheese on an English muffin. And I did not eat the top of it!!! Next is I did not put creamer in my coffee. I got almond milk instead!!! So today begins great!!!

Later today I’m having my groceries delivered. And I have salad stuff!

Well I’m preparing for a snow storm on Saturday. My sis has a get together planned with pernil. I have to season it tonight or later once it’s thawed.

I love being up early. And drink my coffee. And watch the news.
 
You sound really cheerful, Vic. Well done on choosing savoury over sweet. That is a really good start to your day. I had to look up pernil as I had never heard of it. I hate pork, but my husband G loves it. Enjoy your weekend xo

Except for not sleeping last night. I have my melatonin that I’m going to take tonight. That was suggested by Tru. I’m going to take a good amount right before I go to bed. And my ambien and other meds. My body should be tired. (But I do suffer from insomnia...I have a hard time falling asleep. but once I do I sleep great.). I just need to make it a habit. So I’ll take all meds at 10 pm.
