That makes me think of the Jenny Craig commercial where that actress Bertonelli (forgot her name) is walking around with 40lb of potatoes attached to her vest, then she takes off the vest and mention how she can't beleive she used to walk around with that much extra weight on her !!! I am glad it got you thinking!

When I hit 20 pounds lost, I went to the grocery store and picked up two 10lb bags of flour. They were heavy!!! I couldn't believe how heavy that was. My daughter is 6 and she weighs about 48 pounds. I really can't wait until I can pick her up and do the same. ^_^

I am planning on starting to walk from the bus starting tommorow morning...I have to break the hold Tim Horton's Coffee as on me it's crazy.....Maybe I should buy a can and make one pot of Tim's Coffee from work.. ( I always forget that Tim Horton's is a Canadian thing over here you can hardly go 5 blocks without seeing one!!!) Fast walking for 20 min with my heavy back pack should help the weight loss!!

Good Morning and happy tuesday!!! In May 2003 after the Victoria Day Long Weekend I started this job.....I figured i would be here 2 or 3 years get experience and then move on.....7years later I am still here! I have to keep telling myself at least I have a job, and a steady if not big paycheck and something better will come along!

Ok so this weekend I didn't fall of the wagon I leaped off of it! Saturday Morning I did good....lunch too, Diner wasn't so bad...it's the bottle of wine I drank to myself that is the issue here! At least I stope eating after a two handfull of Doritos and decided not to open the second bottle of wine I opened the 1L of water instead! On Sunday the hubby and I went to eat a very late breakfast and I had a huge cheese Omlette, and I ate it all and the potatoes and bread that came with it. Then we spent the rest of the day at my brother's in law and these people only drink pop so I drank my 1 L of water but then I had 2 pop during the rest of the day....and we had chicken burgers the fried variety with cesar salad for diner I at least skiped the ice cream! Yesterday I was at home and I stayed inside trying to clean the house but it was so hot and humid...the kids wanted to go play outside but I had a monor sunburn so I didn't want to go out in the sun....Anyways I found ways to keep them busy and burn their energy lol I had my daughter wash the floor with a humid rag lol my son tought it was the funniest thing so my daughter kept going cause it made him laugh! I hate well yesterday and surprisingly I had no cravings....I want to go out at lunch to walk but if the sun is too strong I will have to wait tonight once the kids are in bed! I just don't want another burn....I have a baseball cap and I can't find it, I will look for that! So a lot of indulging and minimal exercise done in the last 3 days so I got to work out all days this week!

I need to drink a major amount of water my wedding band feel tight wich means I am retaining water so 100oz + today!

Thank you!! I am not actually over stressed with the weekend I was good all week last week and I am thinking a weekend like last probably is like a curveball to my system so it's good to keep it guessing! I just have to be extra good this week!

You are on!!!! I even braved the heat and sun at lunch time and went for my walk that way tonight if I don't have time before BL then at least I still got some exercise in!!!!! Eating healthy 90% of the time as become sort of my usuall now yesterday I was craving salad so bad!!!!! Today I wasn't gonna walk during the day since I burn easily even in the shade and I can't find my hat or sunscreen, but I told myself to just go out for a few min at lunch to sit and listen to music..then I told myself once around the train station won't be too bad.....then I just went on the bike trail and did my usuall 30 min walk...let me tell you I pushed myself hard, and I sweated a little too much I am not so comftebale sitting here at my desk but I feel great about doing the walk. Gotta get back to work!
 
Ok so while I was cutting labels today I was thinking of what I could do to push myself more, I have been toying with an idee since last week! My husband bought p90X a couple of years back and they are just sitting there collecting dust! So mabe if I start doing the program that would influence my hubby to join me and we could get healthy together ( He bought it to get ripped, cause he is sort of under weight) it might be nice to cheer eachother on...I look at it quickly yesterday while trying to catch up with my housework it looks so hard....but if I do it I should see results! I need to set up a DVD player in my living room!
 
Ooh, I hope you do try P90X! I love those workouts... especially the plyometrics ones! It's actually about the best cardio workout video I've ever done.

I really want to do it...but at the same time I am terrified to it look so hard....I guess that is why it's an extreem workout! As soon as I get a DVD player in my living room I am starting..I am getting a pay check on monday so mabe then I can go get one!

Good Morning!!! I ended my day with 22pts so just one under and since the weekend I am sure I went over on two occasion so it will help balance things out! I wanted to workout while watching biggest looser but I was sweating just sitting and breathing.....I am just not used to this hot and humid weather OMG it was like 37 degrees with the humid X we have the AC in our bedroom and we have a fan the pushes the air towards the kids bedroom but it's not strong enough really cool the whole house........I really don't know what I will do about my daughter I am so sick and tired of being awaken all night long....She slept from 10 pm to 6 am at 5 days of age so why the hell does she have to wake up for hugs and kises in the middle of the night.....it's not getting better it's getting worst, right now I have no patience left none at all, she just has to look at me with tears in her eyes and I want to yell at her (I don't actually but I want to! Mabe I should and that would set her straight but she is only 3) If she keeps going like this I won't be able to keep working my house is messy right now cause I am so dead tired once the kids are in bed I just want to crash in bed but then nothing gets done...thank god I can sleep on the bus and I get to walk at lunch, I really want to do the P90X it seems like it would really help me loose weight and get some muscles I just want to read a bit more on it, I don't want to get ripped lol! I want muscles definition but not too much of it!

I have yogourt and fruits and granola 5pts as a snack but only if I am really hungry cause that will leave me with only 3 pts for diner! Tonight I really want to take my measurments it's been a while but I am noticing a difference in the way my clothes fit so I think it's time to measure again..hopefully I find where my daughter put my tape . I am gonna drink lots of water cause of the salt in the feta cheese but I love the stuff so much lol I had to add it to my salad!
 
I'm sorry you are not getting any sleep, I really really know how you feel. When I was really young and I couldn't sleep at my grandma's house, she used to get up and get me to drink warm milk. The thought of that now seems gross to me, but she would do it, and for some reason I would fall right to sleep. This might help her, just a suggestion. The P90X thing seems interesting. I've watched the informercials a hundred times. You do seem to get really ripped. I was talking it over with my friend yesterday and thought maybe if you didn't use so many weights and just freelanced it part of the time, then it would limit how much muscle you actually gained, and maybe a few less chin ups. I don't know, was just thinking about it. I think I am more interested in Insanity because you don't use alot of weights, and you could slim down more than bulk up. Have a good day, and hope you get some rest tonight.

Way to do great on points! I have a hard time working out in the heat, It just makes me feel ill. I wish I could be better about it, but I have to work out in a cool gym or in the morning or evening when the heat is low. Luckily the weather here is not too hot yet, so I have no excuse. :svengo:
 
Yes, the heat is killing me too. It was 45 degrees today. I was just about to shoot myself

Sorry to hear about your daughter not being able to sleep. Warm milk used to help me fall asleep too. If that didn't work, my mom used to rinse my feel with cold water. It did the trick. I think it has to do with your body being warm and restless and when there's cold water in your feet you are relieved. They also say that feet has direct connection to the brain or neurons. So maybe that would help?

Keeping my fingers crossed so that you get a good night's sleep tonight.

MMM I am wondering if I can use soy milk to warm....she won't drink cow milk or rice milk and refuses to try almond milk......I think it's just pay back for sleeping so well when she was a newborn!

I love the heat......just not the humidity. I have been going on my regular walk at lunch time, even with this heat. It makes me drink more water so that is good! I must say that people here think I am crazy to go out and walk they tell me to wait till evening ...but I don't have time so I hopefully get used to this heat soon, usually at this time the weather warms slower we have time to get used to it ....not this year.
