Humidity is awful, I agree! Yuck! Feels like I can't breath sometimes like I am in a hot sauna. Good for you for getting out there and just doing it even if it is hot! Go girl!


I used to play hide and seek in a green house in mid july as a kid....you would think I am now immune to humidity, but no...but walking on those days kind of reminded me of that I think thats what kept me goin...if you did it then you can do it now lol!!! How is your training goin?
 
I LOVE the heat - we don't get much of it here, so as soon as the sun shows any sign of shining, we all strip down to our shorts anf t-shirts and blind everyone with our lily-white legs :)

I think I could compete against most in the white leg department, my skin as no colour lol! I blind everyone in the summer when I dare to wear shorts.

Good Morning people and happy Friday!

I was supposed to weight in this morning, but I overslept and I only had 15 to get me and the kids ready so I didn't take the time to step on the Evil scale! I will post my weight in on Monday cause this weekend will be crasy again lol my Hubby is not working so we want to take the kids to this indoor play gym ( I know it's nice out it's just that my son won't have rocks to eat at the indoor place and the play structures a huge like 5 stories and we can go in with them)!!! It a great workout chasing the little ones in theres I hate the plastic tunels I am clostrophobic but one of these days when it's not busy I will cross it damn it! I want to convince hubby to maybee go to the public pool after ....he is not a swimmer and will be in the hot tub the whole time but my kids and I will enjoye ourselves. I am hoping to finish this month with at least a 1lb lose....Also hoping to have extra energy, I have to go to my mom and buy some vitamines cause I am extra tired and I feel that my iron is low. I have had an issue with iron since birth I was told it was because I got blood transfusion as a baby it affect you ability to I don't know it's to absorb Iron or maintain the right level, so I have to keep a check on that and right now it feels low. Daughter woke up a few times screaming from the kitchen but now we installed a new lock on the door so she isn't able to unlock that a be found outside at 3 am...I hate that she sleep walks it can be so dangerous I am hoping it's just a stage. I guess I have to go start my work day!

17pts wich leaves me with 6pts for dinner! Mabe I will try to make chicken Quesadillias!

Lol when you are running throught there you meet other parents and they are smilling like a kid themselves lol! Kind of reminds me of the Mc Donald play structures just BIGGER.....I am sort of looking forward to it.....it's gonna be my son't first time going!
 
Veronique, Iron is very very important, especially when you are eating less than you were before and exercising. Get iron supplements if you can, and eat lotsa iron-rich food.

I usually take Iron every morning and during TOM I take 2 to 3 but money as been tight over the last couple of months and I had ran out, but I bought some more this weekend so hopefully I can get my Iron level back up!

Good Morning!

Happy Monday of so I weighted myself on Sat Morning and I stayed the same 176.0lb but I had Pizza the night before and Saturday Morning we had breakfast at Timies and then Lunch at Mc D and diner at a chinesse buffet So Food Saturday was bad no other words for it! We wanted to go shopping before going to the gym so we left early and had breakfast on the way then we walked to hours shopping then the kids complained about being hungry and we where are Wall Mart so we ate lunch there and then drove to the indoor gym at around 1pm my son fell asleep during that 10 min drive so the first 30 min I walk around with a 23lb sleeping toddler in my arms ( I can still feel the pain) He was out cold other sugar hype kids where screaming while runnning by us and didn't even react lol! May daughter had fun running up to her favorite slids while I watch cause hubby was too busy reading the news paper to play with her! When my son finnally woke up I took him the the toddler area and he fell in love with the ball pit and the slide that was in area my daugther came and played with him showed him how to get to the top of the slide, finnaly at 4:30 my husband got off his behnd and tool my daughter to play in the big kids games! We where all exausted when we left there but we had to meet my mother in law and her mom and one of my husbands brother at a chinese restaurant. At least I moved a lot that day and I don't really like Chinese food, so I filled up on salad and then had a small serving of spicy something Tao Chicken it was ok just a little to heavy on the salt I am not used to that much salt so I didn't enjoye it much!

Sunday mu daughter made pancakes (I training her to take over in the kitchen) and then we got busy and next thing I knew it was diner time! I bought some Jerk Marinade and prep some chicken WOW is that stuff spicy or what....I had to drink some milk to stop the burning in my mouth....on the plus side no one can over eat that stuff...I love it I heard that yo are supposed to eat this along with ketchup, Next time I want to try on a whole chicken not just strips on chicken breast and no smoker box in the grill I don't like the smockey flavor.

that is 17 pts wich makes me short 6 pts but since I had a really bad Saturday I may leave it that way unless I am hungry, I may add a protein shake or something cause 5pts under is a lot!

I will walk at lunch unless it rains....but I don't know if I should, the air quality isn't really there everything smells like a camp fire because of a forest fire in Northen Quebec, I can even smell it from home 1 hour away!
 
I hope you get some rain for those fires soon! I think it's supposed to rain here tomorrow and we really need it too! Sometimes I can smell the fires from Winnipeg and that's 8 hours away - so scary for people that are closer!
Your weekend looks like it was fun - I'm sure you can do damage control for Saturday over the next couple days - I need to do the same and lower my points the next couple days too!! Extra activity will help too! I agree that you can't over eat when it's really spicy so I have been adding hot sauce to almost everything and I never used to really like it but I'm starting to crave it now when I don't have it for a couple days! water, water, water and you'll be back in business tomorrow! When I was expecting both my kids I couldn't get enough of spicy foods! Nacho with jalepeno and anything Mexicain really, I am so Lucky I didn't have heart burn!

You know what I love about you? When you stray off the path you never dwell on it, you just get right back on and keep on going. That is a great mentality to have and the reason why you have been and will continue to be successful. Sorry I have been bad about checking up on you, but it is good to see that you have still been losing and being able to keep your weight at 176 despite the slip-ups is something to be proud of too!

The weekend was fun, but way too much junk I didn't even want any of it but I had to eat to keep up with the 2 kids at the gym and I firgure that just playing there I used up most of what I ate! Next time I am packing a lunch junk food makes me feel crapy and tired. I walk from the bus stop this morning and if the weather permits I will do it every morning! I am planning to cut down to 3 coffees this week instead of 5 so we will see how that goes. We have to stay strong now that we are in the game we got to keep pushing!

Thankyou! I think it's just that I feel so much better in this new lifestyle, when I eat great I love the way I feel. I concentrat on the now, what is done is done I can't change anything, so I try not to focus on it, I admit then move on, if not I wouldn't still be here! This site has help me so much to focus on the good stuff too cause when I start beating myself up there are always people like yourself who tell me what I have been doing well! You have 4 kids so I think you don't have to apologies for not having time to check up on everyone I am glad to see that you are still here! I haven't seen your diary in a while either I am gonna have to go read up and see how you are doing!

I totally agree!!!! I'm happy to read that you are feeling so much better in your new lifestyle :):):) I hear you about the junk...I wish it did not exist! Salt puffs me up SO BAD

I wonder why I never notice how puffy I get when I eat salt? Was I just blind or not in tune with my bod? At least now I realise this!

Ok so June starts off rainy, but still it's a new month! This month I will add more exercise to my routine! I want to do at least 15 min a day I usually walk about 30 min at lunch time when wheather permits and this month I will do at least 15 a day on top of that if I have time for more good! Ok so last night I ended my day at 23 pts because i ate at my in laws. When I got to my inlaws to pick up my kids my daughter was gone to the park with my brother in law and his wife to play in the water (instead of a public pool they install a sort of sprinkler system that kids run through). So I grabed my son who they had left behind and I walk over to the park that is about a 10 min walk but carrying 23lb I was a bit sweaty when we got there! I took off his shoes and pants and let him run with his sister he wasn't too scare but not really confident either! My husband met us at the park with his car in order to kiss the kids before heading out to work, and he left for work with both of our key rings. I was getting the kids ready to leave and noticed that I didn't have my keys so my mother in law drove me to the park in case I had dropped them, when I didn't find them I told her mabee hubby had the keys so we drove all the way to his job (15 min each way) Thankfully he is using my old lock from high school so I went into the locker room and took my keys back . With all this it was 8 pm by the time I actually got home and I had to put the kids to bed and fix today's lunch..exausting! At least the kids where so tired they fell asleep right away!

total of 2pts (Are raw veggies still 0pts)

so that is 10 pts for my day...that doesn't look right there is a lot of food on there how can I have 13 pts left for diner? There are a few WW followers on here am I doing this right?
I am going for 100 oz of water min today!!!!
It's raining so no walking at lunch! I will have to find someway to exercise!
Time to catch up of other diaries!
 
Hey there. I like that sprinkler idea that they have, more sanitary for the kids rather than swimming in a public pool. Your meals sound great, and it sucks that you can't walk because it is raining. It is sunny over here. I need to go back in your diary and catch up on your weekend, so I'll be back later!

Edit: It sounds like you had a fun weekend! I see you made a trip to McDonald's too. So did I, a few times! Oh well, new week, same feet, get sleek. You'll do fine, you always do.

LOL do you really have to rub it in that you have sun!!! Was that really necessary haha.....With all the forest fires in the area I am kind of glad for the rain it is very needed, I just have to find an alternative to workout indoor, I will firgure out something!
