Good Morning! It looks like it's going to be another beautiful day in Ottawa, This morning I was supposed to get off the bus at another bus stop and then walk to work but I really really needed a good coffee not the crap they have at work, so I got off at the first stop and then took another bus in, I would easily be able to walk from any of the 2 bus stops cause I work in the middle of them but there is construction going on and they are blocking the rd completely sidewalks and all at the intersection so I would also have to do the detour and i just don't have that type of time...tommorow I will get off at a later stop and then walk from there to work I t should be nice I will be on the bike paths and not the a city side walk I may even take the path that is beside the river but I am a bit nervous about being on there alone I am kind of thinking people go running in the morning and people bike to work and school so there will be hopefully a lot of people I will keep my cell in my hands just in case. I went to buy a bike pump yesterday Canadian tire was out.....Come on, who runs out of bike pump I hate that store when ever I need something they are always out! I got a rain check but if someone drive to WallMart at lunch time I will go along...if the intersection wasn't close I could walk to a canadian tire store or Wall Mart I can't wait for the construction to be over! I can walk everywhere... I think I am going to cave in and buy some clothes. I was going to wait until I lost at least 20lb but I have no summer clothes that I can wear to work and I saw nice capris in the Sears Catalogue that are 20$ ea I want a brow and a Black pair Then I will find a white one, and a skirt or summer dress....then a few shirts. It's crazy all the summer clothes I own are either 5 year old full holes (you the shits you wear to paint your house or garden) or Maternity ( I am so not wearing those they won't fit right and it would make me depress if they actually fit lol)
I am ordering the pants from Sears tonight and I am gonna try to convince the hubby to make a trip to the flea Market on Sat morning after we drop off the kids! I need cheap clothes that look nice cause I won't be wearing them long! I trying to get my mom to follow WW too but she says she is to old to change her ways.....She is an emotional eater and life with my dad as not been easy for her and my sister's life is bringing so much stress to her at the moment and she as a lot of payne in one of her ankles she went to the DR and they did x rays and blood test everything is fine but when you touch the ankle you can feel hard bumps in there so I am sort of worried for her, she is now seeing a Naturopath so hopefully that will help her heal. My sister need an isterictomy not sure how it supposed to be spelled. They keep pushing her surgery I am just hoping it's not cancer cause if it is and they keep pushing the surgery it will make things worst. The surgery wa supposed to be in April it got pushed to May 13...then May 17 and now she is waiting the call to know what date! I hope it's soon.

3oz of chicken 3pts I had like 1.5 ounce of the chicken and 1 cup of salad 1tbsp of dressing so 2 pts for lunch but I had an apple after my walk so 1 pts 3 pts in total for lunch


Snack
mixed fruits (strawberries , rasberries, Green Apple) 2 cup 2pts?? I will have to double check this. 1 cup of fruit strawberries, and rasberries mixed 1pts plus one activia yogourt 2pts and 3tbsp of granola about 2pts 5pts for my snack outch

that is 16PTS (18pts so far)
wich leaves me with 7pts for diner(5pts for diner)
I am turning into a rabbit lol I am actually craving salads to that is mostlikely what I am having for diner I will have Tuna tonigh instead of chiken! ok so 2pts for the dressing and I have no idee how many pts tuna is but half a can had got to be lower then 5.3pts So today if I can stick to the plan looks great. I will with out doubt drink my water, and if the weather stays nice another walk at lunch. I can feel my determination comming back i am still dead tired but I pushed myself to walk yesterday and now I want to go, so mabe all I needed to get out of my rut is go for that one walk! Why didn't I just do that a month ago lol! Ok so before this turnes into a novel lol i am off to catch up with other diaries! I will be ending the day with 23pts total!!

My diary always turns into a novel these days, lol! That sucks about the pump! That always happens to me too - especially at the grocery store! I'm so glad you got out for a walk - I totally believe that when we have no energy the best thing to do is exercise and push through the first 5 minutes and before you know it all this energy appears. I almost always feel more energy after my workout then before. Even this morning it's the first time I have exercised before work this week and I feel great. The last couple days I was so tired all day and everyone kept telling me I looked tired too but I was getting the same amount of sleep. If only I could get out of bed and put my shoes on every morning - the rest is a piece of cake!
I agree you need some new clothes - tell your hunnie I insist! You will feel so much better and it will keep you going for more!

Lol mabe we should try making money out of these novels!!! I will get a darn pump at some point! They only had the ones that work with your car lighter and I don't want that we had one and it kept screwing up the fuses in thye car so we don't want that again!!! The clothes thing is not really my hubby's fault I don't want to spend money on something that I won' be wearing long! so I keep pushing it off but the weather is warming up so I have no choice!

OMG I am so happy with myself....I went out walking again even if my legs where sore from yesterday...(note to self bring walking choes everyday) I keep wearing my work shoes they are flat but not made for walking, Today I outdid myself.....I want to walk from another bus stop but really had to figure out the way first so I walk toward it and found it in no time. I came back and then did the usuall walk but instead of walking back to work I kept going and found a route the took me to the actuall bus stop so I walked for 45 min a a very fast steady pace, the only problem I think I have a sun burn and I am all sweaty I just had my music and was into it I didn't notice i was getting that hot or burned, on the way back the wind was nice but was pushing against me, still I feel all energized and wish I had the afternoon to work out cause I am in that Zone right now but I am chained to my desk once again! Also I didn't eat more then half my salad so I am going to add a yogourt to my fruits this afternoon, and 1/3 of a cup of granola! should bring it close to the same point value!

This is great, Veronique. Brisk walking till sweat comes is very good. You always eat so well, and now with the exercise you are getting, your pants will start becoming looser in no time. I am sooo rooting for you.

Sorry to hear about your mom and sister. I hope your sister has the surgery and feels better soon. How you tried giving your mother WW stuff to read? Perhaps she'd be interested then? If I have to convince my mom about something I constantly talk about how great that thing is, and give her all the info etc till she caves in. Maybe it'll work on your mom too..try it!

Thank...I am hoping to see results this week but only 2 brisk walk I wonder if that will make a difference this week if not well there will be a bigger one next week!

I am hoping my sister get her surgery soon but we have DR shortage here in Canada and expecially in the province of Quebec where she lives hopefully she gets the surgery before it turns into something bad, she has had a hard life I am hoping that she can pick herself up and make something good out of her life experiences.

As for my mom I can't give her my books cause i have the english version and my mom doesn't understand English. In 2006 she is the one that pushed me to join WW cause she saw results on many people including me! I think that she is just not commited to loosing weight, and she eats very very well everything homemade and she doesn't eat fast food (before the age of 22 i had never been in an A&W or Burger King and I had gone to Mc Donalds like 5 times in my life on school trips, Her issue is chips (that is where my habits comes from!!) and big portion size, and her immotional eating. My dad has a drinking problem always did....He worked hard all his life and we never ran out of food clothing or annything it's just that on weekends he isn't comming home to his wife and kids but his case of 24 and on occasion his bottle of gin( he drives truck and never drinks on weekdays just friday and Saturday) It affected me big time growing up I never wanted to have friends over cause then people would know. I can only imagine how she got affected by it having t cancel plans at the last minut cause he was already drunk and stuff like that so her being over weight comes from that I am sure of it! Ok that is longer then I planned it to be!!! i should get back to work!

Happy Friday.....

Drum Roll Please!!!!!!!!!!

176.0 lb as of this morning !!!!!! As I got on the scale I kept thinking please 177.9 not 178.2 lol Imagine my surprise when I saw 176.0... I step on the scale 3 times just to make sure lol My hubby had a great laugh i even did a little dance, it had been too long since the scale went down! I was going to skip my lunch time walk but not annymore lol! Especially since we are eating out all weekend I don't want to at least stay at 176lb this weekend!!!

I didn't do any other workout last night because I had to clean the house and do my laundry so I can pack the kids suitcase and ours too for the weekend I may even put them in the car tonight that way Saturday after breakfast we are all set to go! I might to a friends or my parents on monday cause I kind of want to get my hair dyed again I did in February went from Blond to Red it look so nice I actually looked alive but as usuall the blond is back, I have tried lots of different colour and the blond always comes back......I think I am gonna have to spen the dough and go to a salon mabe their stuff works better! I use shapoo for coloured hair Treseme is a good brand ...Oh well eventually I will find another colour that sticks!! I want to go visit my best friend I haven't seen her since last August and I really miss her, she lives only 1 hours away it's just that she is really busy and I am busy too so it's hard to see each other.....hopefully this weekend!

I don't know if it's the weight loss or the comming long weekend but I am feel so energiesed and hyper i will have a very hard time concentrading on work I will spend most of my day staring at the clock lol!

3tbsp of granola 1pts ( I really am not sure about this)
no snack I am still too stuffed from lunch so instead I am drinking a green tea in ice water it's good it's sort of like lipton iced green tea with no surgar! Yum

4.5 6.5point left for diner I was planning something light I am still in my salad zone I just crave it all the time....I will either eat the rest of my tuna or legumes depending how I feel!

I plan on drinking 100 oz of water !it's only 3 and I am past the 100oz already!

If I don't get back on here have a great long weekend ! See you on tuesday!

1/2 cup of Tuna(in water) is 3pts

I think it depends on the tuna because I used my points finder on the stuff I buy and it's only 1 point for half a can and 2 for the full can. Only 60 calories and I can't remember fat for 1/2. I find it best to use the points finder for everything and hardly ever refer to the book because every brand is different. Just my observations.

Awesome work Veronique!!!! That is an awesome loss for not getting all the exercise in you wanted!! Goes to show eating right is #1!! I feel the same way today except I haven't gone for my weigh-in yet - I'm so anxious for it! I'm also anxious for the clock to read 3pm because that's when I'm getting off today!! The time usually goes by so slow when I don't want it to!
 
Congrats on the weightloss, you are just glowing girl! When I bounce around and hear all this good news it makes me want to put a foot in my back! That is crazy about the bike pump thingy, and yeah they say you never forget how to ride a bike. I would know if when I moved out of my mother's house, my little brother didn't take it apart piece by piece and think I would never notice! I hope that your sister gets her surgery soon, and that everything is alright with her. I know it can be very discouraging but pray for the best, and everything will be good. I was anxious this morning!!!! Eating right is important you are right! It's just 1:30 and I am so ready to go home! I just read your journal and you also did great!!! Hopefully the next weeks can be as great!

Thank you!! I am hopping that next week I get the pump so I can bike again! My daughter used to love it and last year my son was to young to use the trailer so this will be a first for him!!!

Just read through your recent posts and Congrats on 176! I can NOT wait to see those numbers very soon! So close, but yet so far lol. Keep up the good work sweetie you are doing fantastic! I took the advice of you and some others and was at walmart and picked up a mere five pound weight. I was astonished and tried to picture myself having used to carry TWELVE of those with me. No wonder I felt constantly miserable throughout my days.

That makes me think of the Jenny Craig commercial where that actress Bertonelli (forgot her name) is walking around with 40lb of potatoes attached to her vest, then she takes off the vest and mention how she can't beleive she used to walk around with that much extra weight on her !!! I am glad it got you thinking!
