Hello everyone!

I haven't been on in a few days I was home sick. My lower back is killing me I don't know if it's a kidney infection or if I made a wrong movement, but sitting and standing are very painfull and my DR appointment is only on monday if it hurts too baddly I will go to the walk in on Saturday. I have lots of work to catch up on so I can't really stay on here long but I wanted to let everyone I didn't quit I am still here!

Hi, sorry you don't feel so grand today. I hope your appointment goes well, and if it doesn't get better, definitely go to the walk in. Feel better and TTYL.
 
Keep at it Veronique - you won't see results any other way! And going backwards is no fun! It took me like 6 weeks to lose 5 pounds but after a crappy week it's very easy to gain 5 pounds - it's just not fair! Hope you had a good weekend and are still on track. I'm sorry to hear you are having some money stresses - I know it's easier said then done but try to not let it get you down - one day at a time. Take care.

Thanks Lisa, I wished it was as easy to lose as it is to gain. I know results happened eventually but last time I got results quicker and I am just not patient lol! I am keeping at it!
 
Oh, it's so frustrating when the scale refuses to budge. I find kicking it helps ;)

LOL!!!! Since it's new and made of glass I think I will skipp the kicking it, but mabe if I where to kick myself in the behind I would get results faster lol!
 
Ahhh that is all you needed to say! Once you develop a hatred for a number you go below it in a week and then the weight comes flying off! I have seen it so many times. Now please insert a dollar in my crystal ball to cover the cost of fortune telling :p

I'm happy you're going to get to see an advisor. You are absolutely correct, it does take time to get things in order and it is much like working toward good health! I'm working on it now myself.

I am hoping to have both my body and my bank account in good shape by this time next year!
 
I am with Lisa on this on all counts. Keep at it. Last time I was here I was doing everything and I wasn't losing much. Then I just gave up and fell off the wagon and look where that got me. Had I continued on, I would have probably reached my 120lbs goal by now (please note I was here last in July 2009 and left around oct). You eat really well, and are sooo consistent with exercise and are doing everything right. It is just taking some time.

Sorry to hear that you are having financial problems. It is really hard watching every penny, but that is what is going to make you get through this. That and patience. Things have their way of working out...Im keeping all crossing our fingers for you. Good luck.

Lets try to stay focussed and end this week strong!

Since the payne is in the kidney area I am going to the walk in ...plus that way I won't miss work on monday.
 
Glad to have you back - I was getting worried! Sorry to hear it's because you haven't been feeling well - I think the walk in is a good idea too. Take it easy and watch your diet - water, water, water!!

I haven't really been hungry so I am kind of pushing myself to eat small meals so the diet is ok .....I didn't want to drink to much cause of the freaking stairs I have to use to go to the washrooms but my throat feel funny (the bad kind) so I ended up drinking plenty. Damn those stairs...at least I got a little exercise every time I needed to go use the toilet! I think it's the first time I have been away so long since January but fear not I going nowhere. Thanks for stopping by!
 
Sorry to hear you are not well. I'm not either- some kind of virus going around here. Started with sore throat and runny nose and it is taking some time to go. Drink lots of water and chicken broth helps too. Weekend is just a few days away. :)

I saw a chiropractor yesterday and my back feels a lot better, I am made payement arangements the chiropractor in question is my neighbor so he sais that if I cut the grass on his property when I do mine he will consider it payement, and it would take me like an extra 5 to 10 min cause most his property his paved to there is just a strip of grass the length of 2 cars on the side, and the with is about 3 lawn mower. Just a bit of extra exercise for me.

Happy Thursday!

Ok so my back is a lot better...it's still very tendy but I can walk normally, i love having good neighbors. I am not expecting a change at all in my weight in tommorow since I didn't workout at all this week and probably won't. Food as been good but to lose weight I usually need to be moving a lot, also TOM is here. So I again am hoping not to see a the scale go up. Since I am feeling better tommorow I may go for a walk but I am not going to push myself. I will consentrate on eating healthy, drinking lots of water and then slowly re introduce exercise. Sort of like starting over.

I see some irony there! Mowing the lawn is hard physical labor. Just cut the grass before the chiropractor appointment, so he can fix your back afterward. LOL At least his grass is a small patch.

Lol I was thinking more along the lines of getting the hubby to mow the lawn while I am at the chiroprators lol!!!! Oh and also have the hubby watch the kids while mowing the lawn lol!!! That will make my back better!

Happy Friday Everyone!

I hope everyone had better weight ins then me caue I am up to 179.8 that is like 1.6lb obviously not the way I wanted to break my plateau, Damn scale go down not up, HUH. Maybe now that the scale is moving it will start going in the right direction next week. I also had pizza not my home on a pita version but the restaurant one. I had 2 slices and I so didn't have the points left. All the hubby had to do yesterday was buy the stuff to make a salad and him and the kids had plenty of left overs but no he had a head ach so he bouthg Pizza instead...I mean come on 5 min in groceri store or 20 min sitting in a restaurant waitting for a Pizza wich one is harder on a headach....Also hello Advil exist for a reason. I get in the door he just kisses me on the cheek and goes to bed! Leaves me alone to deal with the kids again, I don't know where the rumor about women being the weaker sex came from but let me tell you it's not true. Men are weak! When I have a migrain he won't let me sleep it off I have to grab an Advil and a Gravol and keep going all day so why does he get a special treatment! Ok that was me bitching mostly cause I gain weight but also I am jut tired and not feeling well, now my daughter is sleepwalking so I can sleep well anymore at all, at 3 am she was outside on the front porch that's something that can't happen annymore, to many bad things could happen so I am just exausted and could sleep for a month. I called my mom to see if she could take the kids overnight so I can sleep well also I have a job interview on saturday at a new water park I am hoping it's a full time job in the offices if not I can't quite this job I hate to take a seasonal one that would be crasy they are open only june to august so we will see they should keep those jobs for students. I have to get some work done I will coem back on later on today!

Hey Veronique - how are you feeling today? I read what you wrote in my journal and it's nice to know someone else is feeling the same way - sometimes I wish this was a local community board so I could come over one night and go for a walk with you or help you get the kids to bed and just chat. Thanks for being a good friend.
i'm sorry your weigh-in didn't go great but hopefully you will be feeling better this week and then things will go in the right direction again! I know you have it in you - keep it up! take care of yourself!

Good Morning People!

Ok so this is the start of a new week! I had an ok weekend I had lots of running around ...Friday I had to drive down to my parents house to drop off my kids didn't get home until 10:15pm and I still hadn't eaten diner so I just had a proteine shake and whent to bed! What I really wanted was a poutine or some other junky food but thankfully everything is closed at 8 pm around where I live and I am way to lazy to attempt cooking anything past 9pm. Woke up at 7 am to get ready for my interview on Sat morning...just as I was about to go into the shower they call and ask if I can come at 12 instead of 9:30 sure no prob so I call a hair salon to see if I could get an appointment, I hadn't had time for a haircut in over 6 mo, it was so nice!!!! They looked great for the interview and I got offered a position but had to turn it down, the hours just didn't fit in with the daycare and my hubby's schedul so it's still an ego boost that I got offered the job, it would have been great to work at a water park...I think! Next interview will be the right one. After the interview went to visit the hubby at work and tell him what happened and then went to have diner at my moms and brought the kids back home. Sunday woke up at around 7 am again and cleaned the whole house and did most of my laundry. I ate good most of the weekend had a couple of handfull of chips but that is it so I am satisfied with my weekend.
