Ok, I'm going to the gym. I don't normally go this time of day, but I know if I continue to sit here I'll want to eat, and I'm not hungry. Maybe I can wear myself out some so that I sleep better tonight than I did last night, too. Ugh. Anyway...

Wish me luck that most of the "new year's resolutioners" are gone and I'll actually be able to get something done!

How did the "workout to sleep better and avoid snacking" thing go?
I agree about a lot of the "New Year's Resolutioners", too. They are annoying and take up too much time on the machines, but it's worse when they cop an attitude.

QJ - Thanks. Makes me feel better. It's always nice to know I'm just crazy. :rolleyes: :p Anyway, I'm glad you weren't seriously offended, because in no way did I mean that. I TRY not to say mean things about people at all, but sometimes...:rolleyes: But not you.:D

Actually, working out vs. snacking went good. I got an elptical without any problem at all, and even tried *gasp* a stair climber torture device for a little bit. And I do mean a little bit. I don't think I lasted a full 2 minutes. :rolleyes: Between me being old and my knees being older, it just wasn't a good combination. But I might :eek: start throwing that in there every once in a while for a change.

Wishes - Holy crap did it wake me up!! When I looked around me at my family and realized that I'm the oldest girl of my generation and everybody older is a minimum of 60 pounds over weight - and I was 72?!

Ok, a question now. When I weighed in on Thursday night I was up those 3 pounds. Saturday (?) night 2.4 of those 3 were gone. I stepped on the scale this morning and I was at 194 even. How is this possible?? LOL

Congrats on the unofficial weight loss, but if you look at my sig, you might understand why I feel this way :p
 
I don't ordinarily weigh every day, it drives me crazy. But for some reason this morning I just "felt" lighter. I know, it's weird. LOL
 
Ok, so far today:

Breakfast:
1 cup Special K cereal
2% milk (1 cup)

Snack:
Banana

Lunch:
Smart Ones Chicken Parmesan
3/4 cup salad
1 tbsp light ranch

Snack:
Reese's Cup. Haven't decided if I'm going to eat both cups or just the one I just ate. Hmmm...

i really admire you. going to gym without my tennis shoes would be an excellent excuse for me not to go. you just motivated me, you have no idea how much.

I went to the gym the other day with my house shoes on!:eek: I was like crap!!!@:mad: But then I remembered I keep an dextra pair in the car so it was ok. Just kind of stupid on my part!!;) Happy Valentine's Day!!:)
 
I was running extrememly late this morning for work, so I ran out without ANYTHING. No workout stuff, no lunch, no nothing. I'm still going to the gym, but it'll have to be after a quick stop at the house for ALL my stuff. LOL.
