Txturtlegirl's Diary

I'm glad to hear that you're back in charge!
Keep on doing things right, and... "regular coke"? Does such a thing really, truly exist anymore? It's been awhile for me.

Keep following your food plan, it will get you where you want to be.
Yeah, regular coke. The cafeteria had no Diet Dr. Pepper, and I can't do Diet Coke, so...sometimes you just gotta.

Felici, thanks. Yeah, my motivation had some issues a while back. For the most part, it's back. It still goes out to lunch without me sometimes, but it's better than it was. Now if I could just get my butt back to the gym...

I'm sure your butt will start moving that way very shortly. It might look better if your face precedes it, but any way you can is good I reckon! :D You mentioned a motor bike ride in another thread - I think that probably does tone your thighs a bit, and more importantly is good for your soul - but the gym will be more effective in an on-going way. :)

I drink hot tea if I can't find diet soda, sometimes coffee, but only if I HAVE to have the caffeine.

You know, I must be really strange this way, but I am VERY picky about my normal sodas, but when it comes to diet colas, they all taste the same to me. I mean I can identify if there are fruit flavorings, but diet coke, diet pepsi, diet generic colas of all kinds... no difference. I can't tell.

Hi Turtle Girl! Just wanted to check in on you - yay for the clothes not fitting! Means that things are tightening up even if the weight isn't leaving as fast as you want. Keep up the great work & I second Ms. Lena: get your ass to the gym!! LOL! ;):D

Howdy Tx,
I have trouble drinking soft drinks I used to love Mountain dew I didn't think i could ever let go of them but I have 1 here and there when I go out to eat and they taste syrupy to me now.The only diet one I can tolerate is Diet barqes red cream soda.Lite country time lemon ade is really good.
Hope your day is great Tammy

wow i havnt drunk regular anything in a while now.

Even my hubby has taken to drinkin sugar free mountain dew/coke/sprite etc

The pictures are showing up some major differences. I bet you really feel the benefit of your trimmer middle - and it must be nice to have your prettier self popping back into the mirror too!!

Congratulations!! :)

Hey Tx! I am just stopping by to say hi! I saw your pics, and you are doing an awesome job! I can totally see the difference, keep up the good work, it's def. paying off huh?
Oh but I do like the first pic simply because: you are holding a turtle! :)

I love the pics you posted. You can really see all of the weight you've lost. I just wanted to say bravo for sticking with it, and for your accomplishment.

Thanks, y'all!

Lena, doing ok, you?

Been busy with work and home and other stuff.

I adjusted my final goal weight on SparkPeople - thought I had done it before - and it moved my calorie range down again. Now I'm at 1200-1550. Not a big difference, but that 110 calories that used to be there was nice if I felt the need for some icecream! LOL. Oh well. I'll adjust to it. It'll just take some time.

So how's everybody else been?

i need to start calorie counting again. I have just been watching what i eat. Ive been too busy to count all i eat. good for you moving it down. And yay for icecream.
