Trusylver's Diary

Goodmorning all,

6:45 am here and the kids are getting ready for cricket, last game before the christmas holidays. my youngest does Kanga Cricket so parents are actively involved with the activities, so lots of running around in what is forcast to be 30 degree C (86 F) heat today with very high humidity after the rain.

wow! I wish it were that warm here... it's actually not too bad - around 40F, but I wish it were just 15-20 degrees warmer!

Hey! I'm stopping in to check on you.. Sorry I havent' been posting like I should.. I have been in one of my moods lately! I'm so glad you said that about changing your work out routine.. I go to a womens fitness club and I've been trying to tell them for the past 3 weeks that I was used to the routine and also for the past 3 weeks I have only lost 1 lb! So i went in the other day (Wednesday) and they had changed the equipment around.. I was shocked when I went in today to weigh.. and found out I'd actually lost weight in 2 day's!! I strongly believe that is why I didn't lose for the past 3 weeks.. I kept trying to tell them that I was used to it.. but they only want to move the equipment once a month.. Anyway.. just wanted to stop in... Your doing great with your food and exercise!!

katie, i feel the heat badly and would give almost anything for cooler temps.

christina well done on the loss, do they physically move the equipment around ? can you just move to a new machine or weight exercise?

There is a curves in town but decided a ladies only gym didn't suit me and chose to go to a mostly male gym, this provides the benefits of some nice bodies to look at

my hubby has decided to join the gym over the holidays to try and gain some weight and to quit smoking, he needs to gain about as much weight as i need to loose :D

I felt the same way about my fiancee - he is skinny as a rail and for most of our relationship he has weighed less than me - and been nearly a foot taller!!! but now I weigh less, and feel much more proportionate =)

I go to Curves! I didn't know if they had them over there.. sorry!! lol.. Yes the machines weigh nothing so they move them around. I do miss the views of the great looking view's..lol.. But I would rather not work out with them.. I'm already too concious about how I look and I just wouldn't be able to do it with them in the gym also!!

Ok my food from yesterday was not good, calories were ok but not exactly good nutritional value

1 ice cream that hubby gave me (200 calories)
2 eggs
2 slices if yummy vintage cheese
2 bread rolls (wholegrain)
1 300ml lemon ruski (vodka and lemon) calories ?????

I ate nowhere near enough protein but the vodka was nice after 2 month break from any type of alcohol

i will post my exercise total at the end of the mini challenge

ok here is my food for yesterday (Sunday)

4 slices of wholemeal bread
2 slices of cheese
2 vodkas
stir fry beef and vegetables

spent 2 hours digging drainage ditches in adition to my regular exercise

Hello Trusylver! You crack me up with the vodka. That's my favorite. Greygoose that is, with a lemon twist. mmmm

I just wanted to stop in and say keep up the good work. Looks like you are making a great effort.

Digging is wicked-hard exercise, I think you earned the vodkas ;) I prefer the premixed martini bottles, though I like the rum and vodka ones equally.

It has been a mixed day so far

had my fitness assessment done this morning before my workout

In 6 week since my last assesment I have

Lost 5% body fat down from 33% to 28%:D
Lost 2 inches of my butt:D
Lost 1 inch of my belly:D
Lost 1 inch of my Bust:D

Gained 1 kg muscle :D

Lost: I can't say I am in a challenge

Had a good workout but...

then had a flat, not normally a big problem except the anti-theft nut on the mag wheel got stuck and to top it all off I have stuffed a $200 tyre:mad:

fingers crossed for a better afternoon

Hey Hey Darlin had to pop in and check on you and say good morning of course. Looks like you are doing great. Keep up the great work. Hope you have a good one today!

good morning all, I am awake early this morning 4:22 am

can't sleep because my shoulders are too sore from the sunburn yesterday while dealing with the damn flat tyre.

I look like a lobster

Wow, I'm impressed with your fitness assessment. 5% loss is amazing. That took you down from the unhealthy range right? Good stuff. Way to work that booty off.

Sorry to hear about the tire delima. What a drag. And a sunburn too? ouch. I hope that heals quickly for you and all works out. Wishing you a better day tomorrow.

Is it summer over there? I forget what season is where and when.

Hi fellow aussie/weightloser/trekkie!Just thought I would say hi,and thinking of you up there in 'sunny queensland great one day, perfect the next'!
I live in SA in the suburbs,I have a few animals,I lived in the country for about 5 years, love horses also!
I have 2 galahs,1 rabbit,3 guinea pigs,a rat and a cat. They are supposed to be the kids but I ended up looking after them all!You are doing great on your weightloss! Its stressful when you have kids and lots of jobs to be done around the place!
Used to work in race horse stable, once a year they re-fill the yards with beach sand.So inbetween working/feeding /cleaning stables,I helped wheelbarrow the sand into the yards! There was no room for a bulldozer or little backhow to get to most of the stables. It took about 6weeks to fill the 40 stables, but I got really fit doing it!
Those were the days!Good luck!:)
