Thanks guys.
Work ended up being easier than expected as I had a new cat client this morning that never showed up (very common for new cat client's to book an appointment then just never ever show up. Cat people, sheesh)
Got off work around 1:30 and headed to the barn. Just before I got on Elis my brother texted me and invited me to go to the local nature park to have a BBQ for supper. I was supposed to clean my tack and everything to get ready to trailer my horse to my trainer's barn tomorrow (taking him over to practice fri/sat), but they wanted to be there by 4:30. I new there was likely very little chance of me being there by 4:30 with just riding so had to leave the rest of it. I wanted to make and bring my own food since I already had it planned out and hot dog cals add up quick!
So I went home after the barn and made my pork chop and grilled cheese. Only got there around 5:20 after hitting all the lights going down then going to the wrong area of the park. Ate my food right away as I didn't want it getting cold. My brother, and his family, and my mom were still waiting for the coals to heat up to make their food.
I had thought when my bro invited me, that it would be great to get in my first outdoor run, so I wore my running clothes there. Since their food was taking so long I headed out and did my run.
I downloaded that MapMyRun app (thanks for the suggestion). Unfortunately when I checked my phone around 6 mins into my run I realized it was tracking my distance (and with that, my pace). So I had to stop and spend a good 5 mins trying to figure that out. I finally did and could continue my run. Since I ran my next kilometre in around the same time as when I stopped to check my phone when it wasn't working, I would have gone at least a km by that point. I believe I took 3 short walk breaks the whole time (2 under a min, the other around a min). Total run was around 35 mins. I went at least 5km (around 3.14 miles). My pace seemed surprisingly good if my calculations are correct. My phone said I averaged 6.79 mins/km, which works out to 10.9mins/mile, which correlates to a treadmill speed of 5.6-6.2 (depending on the incline) which is a pretty decent pace for me I think. I surprisingly did my last interval faster then the interval before that! Especially outside on undulating ground. Cal burn of around 444. Part way through my run I had an annoying feeling in my one arm. You know the feeling of restless legs? That's the feeling I had in my bicep. Ugh, it was so annoying. I kept trying to massage it and shake it out. It did go away and didn't last too long but it was a pain in the butt.
My lungs are hating me a bit, but I was surprised that it wasn't harder. I got lost a few time, hit some dead ends haha.
I didn't include my walk back in my 'workout' on MMR (mapmyrun) as I didn't want it to slow down my split pace. I did turn MMR back on when we all went on a short walk after I got back and we went 1.10 km's.
Been drinking lots of water so hoping I don't have any water weight to throw off my official weigh in tomorrow.

Lunch: Chicken wrap
Supper: Pork Chop, Grilled Cheese
Snacks: Mini eggs, popcorn, mini cream eggs.
Total cals: 1405

(I really need to add in some veggies/salads haha)

You did great staying on track at the family BBQ!!! Nice way to work in a run while you were there. The more you mess with that app the more you'll see what it can do. I really liked it when I was walking/running and now biking I think it's awesome!!! You can also enter treadmill data on it so you're tracking everything in the same place. It's great for keeping up with progress over time and the split speeds. It will even tell you elevation changes over the course of your workout and give you a map of your route. You can save routes and then compare times for that same route.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for your official weigh-in. But regardless of what it says, you reached your goal AHEAD of time. Weight bobbles up and down a few pounds with water, so don't get hung up on the day to day variations. The trend is definitely going in the right direction and at a good rate.

Thanks guys. I will have to explore that app some more. First things first, my weigh in, which went great! Dropped even a bit more.

Starting weight: 183.5
Current Weight: 159.2 (-2.6)
First Mini Goal Weight: 160 by March 27
Second Mini Goal Weight: 144 by July 3
Final Goal Weigh: 125

On to the day. WOW, what a long day. Ugh.
I was initially supposed to only have my first dog at 9:30 so would have gotten a sleep in. But I got a text from my mom (who went in to work early) saying she had gotten my another dog and it was already in. So I leaped out of bed and rushed in to work, and when I got there she had gotten me yet another dog in. This through a wrench into my day since I was supposed to be getting my horse to my trainer's barn by 2-3. So I had to make my mom bath and dry a couple of the dogs so I could get done on time. Finished just a little later than I had initially planned.
Rushed off to the barn and cleaned my tack so that it would look acceptable at a fancier barn haha. Brought my horse in and fed him while I got my trailer hitched up and loaded. Popped my horse in and headed to the other barn. Surprisingly on schedule.
Tacked my horse up and had a good lesson. My horse has been a pretty good boy these past couple lessons.
Then the long arduous part. Bathing and full body clipping my horse to turn him from a pasture horse to a show horse. Unfortunately my clippers are not really designed to go through near yak-like hair so it took like around 4.5 HOURS to clip him, plus the 45+ mins to bath him. I still had to put my stuff away and park my trailer and unhitch it. It was pitch black out, thank goodness for cell phone flashlights.
Only left the barn just before 9:30. Had only had my chicken wrap that I had for lunch for food all day. So I was starving and exhausted. Thankfully subway was open till 10. I was hoping I would have cals for a footlong but no dice. Got a 6 inch sub, which left me plenty of cals for chocolate when I got home!
My trainer initially wanted me to ride at 8:30am tomorrow morning!! Which would have meant LEAVING my house at 7:15 (which is earlier than I would leave for work!) and after a day like today there was NO way. So she bumped me back to 10:45am. I still plan to be at the barn at 9:30 to finish tidying up my horse.

Lunch: Chicken Wrap
Supper: 6inch sub
Snacks: Chocolate
Total cals: 1389

Wow, that was a yak of a day! Congratulations on the weight and getting so much work into one day :) Hope you slept well and feel great today.

Thanks guys. Nope, definitely did not sleep well. In fact it's 7:30am and I've been up for the last half hour so could have made it to my 8:30 lesson, except that I am exhausted. Just on the computer for a few mins before trying to fall back asleep.

So... the number on the scale this morning was... crazy. I'm sure it's due to dehydration from yesterday (plus I actually went #2 before weighing which never happens when I weigh at around 7:30, which is usually before work). The scale said
157.4!
Hokey poop! I'm sure it's dehydration but it makes me feel hopeful that I may somehow crazily make my March weigh in challenge haha.

You're kicking butt and taking names!!! Congrats, that was a long hard day...take the drops any way you can get them!!!

Thanks guys.

Ok, in a seriously bad mood, so I'm going to start this entry with the end of my day instead of the beginning to get it off my chest.
A friend and I went to see the movie Insurgent today. The movie starts and the mother and daughter sitting next to me keep talking (I always end up sitting next to talkers!!). I thought ok, sometimes people take a few minutes to settle into the movie and quiet down. But a good twenty+ mins later and they were still talking full sentences every 3-5 mins. I finally just went "Shhh!"
This then started them into at least 7 mins of them talking loudly, laughing at me, calling my a F***ing Bitch at LEAST SEVEN TIMES! Along with calling me a cow a few times as well. (BTW this was nearly all said by the MOTHER!) I just sit there staring at the screen no saying a word or acknowledging them. I assumed they would only keep it up for a few sentences then settle down but they just wouldn't stop. I finally leaned over to my friend and whispered 'I don't know how much more of this i can stand' Which got them saying 'omg you SHHHHHHH too, SHHHHHHH! SHHHHHH!' (I could NOT believe that no one around these people didn't even SHH them, not to mention telling them to shut up! THey were being VERY loud)
My friend finally says 'can you guys just be adults about this ' and the lady shoves her hand across me to say 'we are not talking to you' I finally lose my shit completely. I throw her hand out of my face, stare at her and say VERY loudly 'get your hand out of my face you f***cking whore!' This elicited such incredible terror in her face I almost smiled. She nearly shit bricks I swear. It was not mature or polite but I can only be called a f**ing bitch SO many times.
I went back to watching the movie and after a few more 'don't touch my mom!' and "I will so call the police" they finally shut up and were MUCH quieter for the entire rest of the movie.
But then! Later in the car on the drive back home my friend told me that Shh'ing someone in the theatres for talking was rude and so I was in the wrong and that I should have spent 10 mins during the movie having an eloquent conversation with them about whether it is or is not appropriate to talk during a movie at the theatres. (Obviously not his exact words but that's pretty much the intent of what he was saying). I was like you literally just told me that I deserved to be called a f***ing bitch and cow over 7 times. Seriously PO'd. PLEASE if you go to a movie theatre to watch a movie DO NO TALK DURING THE MOVIE!! AND if someone SHHH's you, do not be 'offended' and start swearing at them! SHUT THE EFF UP AND REALIZE THEY JUST ARE TRYING TO ENJOY THE MOVIE!!!
On the positive side, even with the crazy shit at the start, I thought it was a good movie. I thought it was much better than the first one.

On to the rest of my day.
Had a terrible night's sleep as I said before. Woke up almost every hour on the hour.
Headed to my friend's house around 9am to check on her cats (as she is out of town) before heading to my trainer's barn. I actually felt pretty hungry this morning so had a peanut butter 'granola' bar on my way to the friend's house with is very unusual of me to eat so early. I think I was mainly thirsty though as I still felt hungry driving to the barn until I had drank a fair amount of water and then I felt much less hungry. Tidied up my horse's mane then had a pretty good lesson. Packed everything up, masterfully hitched up the trailer despite having to come at it from a tight angle, masterfully made a 90* turn around the other trailers to get it turned around (I'm still quite new to trailering so it's exciting when I can do these things easily, though I haven't ever had too much issue with hitching up). Loaded my stuff and my horse and drove home and unloaded everything.
The first thing my horse does when I turn him back out is roll in the mud to ruin all the bathing I did the day before! :( Oh well, I knew he wouldn't stay clean till the show.
I had a bit of a harder time parking the trailer as it was super muddy there and so when I would try to pivot the trailer it wouldn't always pivot cause it was so deep in the mud. But didn't take too long to master that.
Stopped off at my mom's house to exchange her vehicle with mine then went home (got home around 2pm). I should have exercised today but I just didn't have it in me. After the long day yesterday, and the bad night last night I didn't have it in me. Which is bad because I will only get 4 days of exercise this week instead of 5 and I didn't do any circuit training yet (hopefully I can do that tomorrow) or yoga (which maybe I could also do tomorrow).
I just relaxed at home. Felt a bit hungry, with a bit of tired/boredom cravings so instead of having one bagel with PB I had 2, however I still was working them into my day.
At 5 I started to get ready to go for supper, then the movie with my friend. Went to Red Lobster where I had crab legs, 2 biscuits, and the starter salad in comes with. Was tempted to have coke, but it would have been tough to fit into my cals so resisted. I had initially entered in half a cheesecake into MFP thinking we would have desert, but then my friend said he had a coupon for a free popcorn so we didn't get dessert. (Plus we were running out of time) By the time we got to the theatres he said he was full and wouldn't get the popcorn. I was tempted again to get a coke, but thought hey I can either have cals for chocolate later tonight when I get home, or I will just have more cals for tomorrow. So I didn't get anything.
Only got home at 11:45 or so and don't need to have chocolate at 11:45 so now I have extra cals for tomorrow! Glad the day worked out that way cal wise!

I'm a little worried my scale might need new batteries or is on the fritz as just for fun I stepped on it just before getting ready to go to the movie (after eating 2 bagels and having the 'granola' bar earlier in the day) and it showed 156.8 which is even lighter than it showed this morning, which is crazy light compared to yesterday mornings weigh in which was 2.6 pounds lighter than last week's weigh in! Seems to be too much dropping going on for it to be real, unless I'm having a serious 'whoosh'. Will see what the silly scale says tomorrow after the restaurant meal I had today, which wasn't crazy cals but a bit of sodium I'm sure.

Breakfast: Peanut Butter "Granola' Bar
Lunch: 2 bagels with PB (I usually use 2 tbsp of PB on each bagel, but I didn't weigh it today so I imagine I put on more so I added an extra tbsp on MFP just in case)
Supper: Pound of crab legs, 2 biscuits, side caesar salad
Total Cals: 1740

This means I have 2268 cals for tomorrow to stay in my weekly goal. Tomorrow I am making my new pork chop recipe for my mom for supper, and she is making a Napa Cabbage Salad. The only other thing I need to do tomorrow is exercise. Like I said I would love to do 2 sessions, but the timing of the yoga isn't too workable in regards to making supper. I also ran out my monthly intro pass so will have to buy more sessions.
But I'm exhausted now so gonna try to go to bed shortly.

You handled the movie situation far better than I would have handled it, that is for sure. And no, I agree with you in how you handled it. It's not "rude" to tell someone to shut their pie hole in the middle of a movie. In fact you wouldn't have shhhhhhhh'd them if they would've just shut the hell up like the screens before a movie tells you to do. It's theater etiquette to be quiet. I wish I could've seen the look on her stupid face when you stood your ground. If I sound a little passionate about this it's because I am and I've had a similar situation and now I'm banned from a theater. People wouldn't shut up, I told them I'm trying to watch this, they got pissy about it and started to make trouble...long story short I ended up squirting pickle juice in their eyes and now I'm no longer welcome to the Movie Tavern for being "insubordinate and assaulting customers." They also got kicked out too and hearing them cry about their burning eyes was largely more entertaining than the movie we were watching (Total Recall remake). Anyway, enough about me, kudos to you, sorry you had a bad experience.

Sounds like you have had quite the week. Rob Lobster is great! What this new pork chop recipe about? Surprised your sleeping doesn't go so smoothly with all that has happened this week, you'd think you'd pass out and get a good one in.

One more reason I don´t often go to the cinema. I don´t seem to like people very much ;) I understand that some people have trouble understanding the unwritten rules of our society (there are a lot and not all of them make sense) but these simple ones that you get in black and white? Yes, you should abide by them, even if they are not legally binding. That means no squirting stuff into people´s eyes but it also quite definitely means shutting up in the cinema. If you want to talk during the movie: watch it on Netflix.

I don't go to the cinema either as I cannot stand people making a racket during a movie ( but mostly because I'm allergic to fragrance). We were listening to loud(ish) rock music yesterday& this older couple were sitting near us & their dogs kept yapping & I really felt like telling them to go tie them up somewhere else(they could have done so easily & still be able to keep an eye on them.) I'm glad I didn't though as they got up & left about 10 minutes later. It's disappointing that your friend blames you. That mother/daughter sound like horrors! Don't mess with Mystic! :D xoC

THanks guys. I surprised myself by finding a bruise/lump on my arm from shoving that lady's arm out of my face. I really thought it was more of a shove than a 'hit' but I guess my adrenaline was going at that point.

Here's a pic from the other day. Obviously I'm sucking in my gut like crazy, but I can suck it in this far now so yay. haha

Wasn't done getting ready obviously .

Today I woke up with my alarm clock at 9:30 and couldn't fall back asleep. And I was so looking forward to a sleep in day.
Spent the morning tooling around on my computer. Headed to the gym around 11:30am. Decided on a treadmill run. It was tough going. I increased my walk speed from 3.7 to 3.8, then for my run I increased my speed from 5.6 to 5.7. I was hoping to be able to run one half, walk a min, then run the second half, but I ended up having to run it in 14 min intervals. 65 min total (including 2 min walk warmup and 5 min walk cooldown). I nearly couldn't push myself to keep going at the start of the 3rd interval. I almost allowed myself to stop, but forced myself to keep going. Surprisingly my 4th interval was much easier. And then when I did my min sprint at the end, the fastest I had gone before was 7.4, I decided to try for 7.5. Then halfway through I was like, wow this is easy, and bumped it up to 7.7 and still didn't find it hard. Total distance was 2.88miles (9.46kms) which is the farthest I have ever gone by a little bit. Treadmill said cal burn of 751.
Got back to my place and made pizza muffins for lunch. Relaxed for the for the afternoon, felt quite tired. Headed to my mom's house and she made her napa cabbage salad and I made the pork chops. Played with my nieces and nephew a bit.
Came back home and had my night snacks.

Lunch: Pizza muffins
Snack: Mini eggs
Supper: Napa cabbage, pork chops
Snacks: White cheddar popcorn, mini eggs, mini cream eggs
Total Cals: 2193 (76 cals under my weekly goal)

So sorry you had such a bad experience at the movies. :( That's one of my pet peeves. The talkers and the people who are so important they just can't handle shutting their cell phones off for a couple of hours. Unfortunately, lack of respect for others is a huge problem these days. I don't blame you at all for responding the way you did. Movies aren't cheap. You paid to see a movie not to listen to the "neighbors" chatting. On a side note, what theater do you go to? If you don't go to AMC and have one locally, I HIGHLY recommend you go there. You can go online and buy your tickets which allow you to choose your seats. I do that all of the time now and always pick seats where there's only 4 max in the row. The last couple of times I've chosen the seats near the handicap seats because they're not always occupied. Makes it so much more enjoyable.
