Sounds like a pretty good day. Also, I love cute guys at the gym. Glad to see the scale has moved a bit!
 
Thanks guys. I pizza pretzel isn't really a 'pretzel' it's more of a bread/bun type dough in the shape of a pretzel that's baked with some pizza sauce on top. You just warm it in the oven.
Ugh, my workout felt SO hard today! Maybe it was because I finally got up to heavy enough weights yesterday that I actually feel a bit stiff/sore today, or maybe I was just having a blah day. It was a cardio day today. I had to take one min walk breaks every 10 mins and only ran at a speed of 5.8.
45 mins (including 5 min walk cooldown. I didn't do a walk warm up as I walked across my entire condo building to the far mailroom to hang up an ad for my house which probably took at least 2 mins). 4.08miles (6.57km). Cal burn of 519 according to treadmill.
Felt really hungry afterwards but it was only 5 so I didn't want to eat yet. Held off till closer to 6:30.

May have found a dining table for my new place. It's just an ugly oak color now, but I would refinish it. It's listed at only 60 bucks (including chairs which I would not need but whatever) so could probably get it for 45. I also may have found a tent. 4 person, for $30.

Lunch: Light Caesar salad
Supper: Sweet and sticky chicken, salad, pizza pretzel
Snack: Yogurt with raspberries, chocolate
Total cals: 1501

Sounds like a real pretzel to me - unlike the stuff usually called that by people not from Germany, Austria or possibly Switzerland... Except for the pizza sauce, although you can now get them with all kinds of toppings. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pretzel

The pizza pretzels don't have that hard darker outside, it's just soft all the way through. (I did not read a whole bunch of that wiki page haha.)

Idk if there is something in the air or not, but running has been so tough for me this week, so I feel your difficulty in the gym the other day.
 
Thanks, there must be something in the air cause I had a crap time again today working out.

Work was ok. We are slow right now for some reason so I left work at 2. Found out the table and chairs I wanted got sold :( and the person with the tent has never replied back to me so I assume it's sold too.
Went to the barn to ride. Had a nice jump school on my horse outside, just before the thunder started.

Went a quick grocery shop on my way home, mainly to pick up salad as well as pizza pretzels, and I found those yummy breadsticks I got before.
Got home and was starving.Really, I was hungry for most of the afternoon. I don't know why, I'm normally not that hungry at that time of day. I've been feeling quite hungry lately. Forgetting my water bottle today did not help for sure. So I decided to cup up my watermelon and have a touch of that before my workout. Helped me get in some sugar, and liquid in me.
TOUGH workout today. I think I really worked (maybe overworked?) my upper body getting that 85 pound barbell up and over my head during tuesday's workout. I dropped down to 80 pounds today as I planned to do that then do 90 pounds on the smith rack. But man, especially my right shoulder BURNED getting that thing up. I only did 2 sets at 80 pounds then went to the smith rack to do the 90 pounds. I HATE the smith rack! You are so STUCK in your movement it's almost scary. I'm gonna have to see how things go the next few workouts and go from there.
I then did the overhead press (50lbs). Again, because my upper body was so trashed from last time getting the bar up for my squats I had a heck of a time. I made it through but it was rough.
My deadlifts (90lbs) were fine.
I tried to do my run afterward and OMG. I only went at speed of 5.2 and only lasted 15 min running, then did my 5 min walk cooldown. Ugh. Totals (including walk warm up and cooldown) 1.99 miles (3.2km), cal burn 245.

I popped an advil as soon as I got home to hopefully keep stiffness at bay from my weights.
I emailed my trainer all the paperwork she needs to put my horse up for sale. We will see I guess.

Snack: Watermelon
Supper: Sweet and sticky chicken, salad, pizza pretzel

:) I like the picture, it looks so summery! Take care of yourself girl, remember to give yourself the rest you need. Eating watermelon before a workout is said to be a good way to avoid muscle aches by the way, so go you! Did you change something about the settings of your diary? I have to keep scrolling back and forth to read every line.
 
Thanks. I'm only working out 5 days a week so I should be getting enough rest. I didn't change the settings, it could just be because of the big picture I posted?

Unhappy that it went up from yesterday and not down, and that it wasn't even a full pound lost, but at least it's down a bit from last week. Going in the right direction. It's probably a bit of water weight.
 
If you´re exhausted from a hard workout (and by the sound of it your muscles were, even if you weren´t) it´s normal to retain some water. Your muscles get used to the harder work after a couple of weeks and the water will go away.

Thanks guys. It's looked normal on both computers I have used today so not sure why it's working funny for some. I imagine the picture must have something to do with it.

I hate my 'friends' so much. I still am at a stalemate with the movie friend (the one who said I was the rude one for making a shhh sound at people continuously talking, who then proceeded to spend the next 7 mins of the movine calling me an fucking bitch and cow), but I've been trying for like 2 months now to hang out with this couple I know and they won't do anything with me. I did see people at the wedding I went to, and I have fun and they seem to have fun chatting with me and such, but it seems unless it's in a larger group activity they want nothing to do with me. and then, me and my best friend have been mentioning to our other 'friends' that we really need to go camping, and we really would love to go camping. (BTW, only one friend actually hung out (once) with my best friend after she broke off her engagement. ONE friend bothered to do something with her). Well, I just saw on instagram that our 'friends' are camping this weekend. I'm just SO ready to be done with them it's not even funny, but they are currently all that I have (how fucking SAD is that!)
I spent some time today looking at that meetup website. I'm going to try to get up the courage to go to some events and try to broaden my friendship circle a lot. The only friend I have seen outside of group activities in the last 3+ months has been my best friend, and there have only been 2 group events in that time. And now that my best friend is dating someone I will be seeing her much less too. :( Life sucks sometimes. Oh well, I guess it just gives me plenty of time to exercise.

My workday wasn't too hard today. I got done grooming at 2:30, but one of my dogs wasn't picked up till 4:05 (we close at 4) so I didn't leave work till after 4:15. I then had to drive my mom's dog to her house, then went to the barn and had a pretty good ride on my horse. Drove to my mom's new house (we start moving her in tomorrow!) to help move my new furniture she picked up from my sis in law out of the horse trailer (what we are using as a moving van, though she is getting actual movers on sunday for the big stuff) and into her garage. We will move it downstairs tomorrow when we have more help. I really like what I bought (first time seeing it in real life) especially the sideboard/ cabinet thing I'm using as a TV stand. It's beautiful.
I picked up vietnamese partly cause I was STARVING and wanted to eat as soon as I got home. It was already around 7:15 at this point and I had only eaten my half enchilada at 12 so far.
Today was a rest day, which was good since I got home so late. I'm not sure about tomorrow as I'm helping my mom move. It will be a fairly active day so maybe I can count it as exercise I don't know. I used up my 2 rest days already this week so I will see how I feel and how late it takes us.

First off- we don't get the big soft pretzels here!!! Are they just like bread? Or more savoury?

Also on the friend thing- if they aren't willing to put any effort in, then maybe they aren't worth it. I have an incredibly small social circle but the people in my life I'm close to- quality over quantity! It definitely makes me selfish with my time too, it actually works for my weight loss as I prefer to not go out for food or out drinking and can spend longer at the gym. If somone wants to do something I figure it out but the only people I really rely on is my husband and myself. Even Wade flakes on me all the time (and he lives with us, so I know if he's blowing me off for a last minute date or something!)

If you try a meetup let us know how you go, I've been eyeing a few off but have been too chicken to give one a go!
 
I totally feel for you with the friends thing. I only have two friends outside of work, and one of them flakes a lot. Everyone else is in my life is a co-worker, which makes me terrified to ever leave my job because then maybe I'll just have to say I only have two friends, period. And social media is the worst for seeing your 'friends' doing stuff without you. I've hidden lots of acquaintances on Facebook for that exact reason. Anyway, I have no advice but just want you to know that you're not alone in this sorta feeling!!
 
I don't have very many friends either--a lot of mine moved away and just didn't keep in touch and now my two best friends are moving as well, one into the RAF and the other back home to his parents. It's a bummer. I'm like oaks and have hidden a lot of posts on Facebook so I don't get the envy!!
 
Thanks guys. Friends suck. I will let you know how that meetup thing goes if I do get up the courage. It would be next saturday, a glow in the dark capture the flag game or something.
148.4 this morning. Up again.
Today was a hard day as we were moving everything but the heavy furniture from my mom's current house to her new house. 5 hours of lifting and carrying heavy boxes and stacking everything in multiple vehicles and the horse trainer. Had to take 2 trips and filled 3 vehicles and the horse trailer each time. Skinned my finger in the first 10 mins, of course.
MFP said that 5 hours of moving burns 2000 cals, I think that's a bit exaggerated, but I'm sure it burned a good amount, maybe 1200-1500 cals? It was also 28*C outside today!
I did have a coke, but only one which was impressive. I also held off on not having some popcorn knowing I would want a snack later so didn't want to eat the extra cals then.

Snack: Peanut butter granola bar
Lunch: Piggies in a blanket, mini quiche
Supper: Lasagna, caesar salad
Total Cals: 2180

This leaved my with 2200 cals for tomorrow to stay under my weekly goal.

And I took progress pictures this morning (undie pics coming!). My back looks much better, tummy... a touch better. About 4 pounds difference between pics.
