Thanks. Ya I was kinda surprised by the amount I had left!
I forgot to put yesterday's weight. Yesterday morning I weighed 174.2. This morning I weigh 173.6

OMG, just ate supper (shrimp and baked potato) and I am so full I feel sick!! I didn't realize how full I was till I had finished eating, then suddenly hit it hard! Stomach is feeling queasy and horrible. I walked down to the convenient store to get a chocolate bar earlier (I told myself that if I wanted a chocolate bar I had to walk down there to get it) and I was saving it for evening snack, now I don't know if I'll be able to eat it! :(

As for the rest of the day
Woke up at 9:30. Laid in bed on my computer till 11 or so then moved to my couch. My mom asked me to care for her dog Bear while she was out all day, so when she came to drop him off at 12.30, I then went to pick up vietnamese for lunch. I was initially planning on picking up my chocolate bar before on my drive to pick up my vietnamese, but by the time my mom dropped off Bear I knew my food would be waiting for me getting cold (and I realized how warm it was out at +15*C!!! In the middle of winter! so thought walking would be great) so I just picked up my lunch.
My walk took me about 30 mins, took both my dogs. That was all that I did today other than sit around on my comp or watching TV.
Had a snack of a few of my pizza muffins around 4. I think that made me fuller than I realized and I think that's what contributed to my overfullness now.
Watched 'The Grand Budapest Hotel' it was ok. Not amazing, but decent.
Not sure what my cals are gonna end up at as it depends on how my stomach settles, or doesn't.

Thankfully felt pretty good by 7:30. At 8:30 I did have my chocolate bar. So yummy. I actually had popcorn planned out for this evening yet, but ain't gonna be having that!
Finished up at 1945 which left me 193 cals under my weekly goal. Still planning to up my cals to average 1700 cals a day.

Sorry about the stomach, did you eat so quickly or did it come out of the blue? Still: good job staying under calories, I usually lose it completely when I feel overly full and stuff my face even more.

Thanks.
174.6 this morning. Not surprising considering my high sodium, higher cal day yesterday. Hoping it actually drops off quicker this time.

Had a light day of work today, however my mom didn't work today so I had to stay for a while with nothing to do. Had half an enchilada for lunch. I almost had myself convinced to go for a 30 min walk but instead just sat at my work computer and surfed the net. Left at around 3 and had to go get some supplies for the shop at a store near my barn.
I rode my horse outside it was so nice today. Did a bit of work in the outside arena then went for a ride down the road.

Two firetrucks drove by on my ride. I kinda wished it had spooked my horse and I had fallen off because some of those firemen were good looking! Haha

Picked up Edo Japan for supper. Was feeling really hungry on my drive home. Still had cals for popcorn and granola bars.
Likely finishing on 1415 cals.
Still needing to get the exercise thing under control.

So I just put the question out there on Facebook asking if any of my friends would like to enter the Tough Mudder with me. I have never done any kind of marathon or organized run type thing before, so it would be a new experience for me. I know it has obstacle courses and everything so I'm not sure exactly how to train for it!

My friend is trying to convince me to do one. It sounds like fun. The training program she found online for it included everything imaginable. It was kinda cool. Had lots of boot camp, style stuff in it. I really love the organized events. They keep,me motivated. I think I even enjoy the training more than the event. Hahaha!

;) the only way to get me to run even a half-marathon is to put me on a team with those firemen you mentioned...

Thanks guys. I really hope at least one of my friends will do it with me, but I am kinda doubtful! I also just realized its a 10-12k not a 5k! Ah!
174.2 this morning.

Keep your eye out for a Spartan race. That's the shorter one, those Tough Mudders look insane!!

So, tomorrow I am signing up for the Tough Mudder!
I'm hoping gearing up for the Tough Mudder will help give me the motivation to exercise. I went out today and did 30 mins of exercise. I did a circuit combining running and some stuff on a playground.
I did some pull ups (TRIED to do some pull ups, never succeeded), some monkey bar work (my hands tried to blister up almost immediately so I had to modify them to leaning on the bars but will having my feet walking) shimmying along some rope and steel 'nets', climbing up and down the small 'rock climbing wall', and burpees. I then ran around a large field (about the size of 4 soccer fields) which included a small hill. I did this circuit 4 times. I'm fairly certain I died at some point. My chest/lungs are not gonna be happy with me for a little bit.

Made some delicious soup for supper. Oh My! Almost over ate today because I forgot to enter my lunch (but assumed I had) so I thought I had more cals left than I did! Thankfully I'm still 126 cals under still. My soup was late and filling so I'm not sure if I will eat anything else or not. Maybe my last orange.
Lots of coughing and hacking due to the exercise. Ick.

Your 30-minute training sounds insane. But in a great way. Looking forward to better weather so I can get back to the playground as well!

Surprisingly not terribly stiff today. Can feel it in a few places but not bad.
173.2 this morning. Now if it would only drop another pound this week, that'd be great.
Today I'll be starting the 'bootcamp' style workouts that tough mudder recommends to prepare. It involves 3 circuits combining cardio and strength. I am planning to do 3 days of the bootcamp workouts and 2 days running. Not sure how I will split that up yet or if I'll even have 'set' days to do each or see how the weather is (good weather I run, bad weather I do inside bootcamp). I like the idea of set days as it makes you be less 'oh I'll do it tomorrow'.

Finished my workout and it totally kicked my butt! Sweated like a pig! Learned just how out of shape I am. Also learned that it's best to not workout in front of a mirror yet. Watching all my lard jiggle and shake and bulge was terribly sickening and disheartening. Of course the only area of the gym for me to do my workouts in is covered in mirrors and it's gonna be either too wet or too cold to do these workouts outside (cause some moves involve being on the ground). Just gotta remind myself that I am changing myself so o don't have to see that jiggling mess in the mirror.

Awesome work in here and you'll need it for the tough mudder. One of the obstacles involves possible electric shocks. :eek2:
