Ya, it's going to be tough for sure.
Had pizza muffins for afternoon snack after my work out. I had my soup for supper, and had french toast for evening snack. Yum yum.
Finished my cals at 1488. My sodium as been crazy high with my pizza muffins and soup so we'll see how that, and my workout, plays on the scale tomorrow.
I am not working tomorrow so will probably sleep in a bit, then go ride my horse. If I finish riding in time and my friend gets off work in time we'll probably go for a bike ride. If not I think I might try running, give my muscles a break after today, though it depends on how they feel. I do feel a bit stiff and sore. If I feel good by tomorrow I may do the same workout as today.
Stomach has been really grumbly and cranky in the past couple weeks. Nothing terrible, just not settled.

I went on a bike ride today. I ended up having a flat tire (but didn't realize it till we were already going, we filled my tires before leaving but apparently one has a hole)
I thought I was just seriously unfit, till me and my friend changed bikes and it was SO MUCH EASIER.
However, we ended up going through a really icy patch and, I totally biffed it and smacked my head on the ice. May have gotten a mild concussion, had some weird memories/dream-like things develop during the ride.
Would love to have a nap right now cause I'm tired, but it's probably best for my brain that I don't have the time as I'm going out for supper with a friend then we're going to a 'making goals' seminar.

Must have hurt my jaw when I fell. It didn't feel too bad till I got home this evening and went to yawn or something and OW. And now it hurts even while I'm eating my popcorn. Ouchie.
SOOOO, I realized today that the Tough Mudder is not a 10-12k it's a 10-12 MILE! (18-20k!!!) Oh crap!! This is gonna take even a heck of a lot more work than I thought, and I already thought it was gonna take a lot! Instead of doing 3 days of circuit training and 2 days of running, I'm gonna do at least 3 days of circuit training and 5 days of running. Phew!
I am sore all over haha. Both from falling and from my workout yesterday and biking today.
Went to ride my horse this morning (had the day off work). Moved some jump material around so I could jump. Had french toast for lunch (which is, of course, usually my first meal of the day).

Then went for the bike ride.
Came home, showered and changed and headed to meet my friend at a vietnamese restaurant. After that went to a 'Goal Achieving' Seminar type thing. Was interesting enough. Some good points.

Erm... busted brains need rest hon. I hope you´re feeling well again! That mudder is getting tougher and tougher, I admire you no end but I don´t envy you!

Gonna take a very long time to lose the weight I need to when I can't even lose 2 pounds a week at the start of my weight loss.

Starting weight: 183.5
Current Weight: 173.2 (-1.2)
First Mini Goal Weight: 160 by March 27
Second Mini Goal Weight: 144 by July 3
Final Goal Weigh: 125

2 pounds every week is a lot for a woman who isn´t very heavy to start with (not telling you you´re not allowed to strive for improvement, just that you´re not an extreme case) and doing it slowly means you´re making the kind of changes you´ll be able to keep up for a lifetime. That said: I know it sucks when things don´t go as quickly as you want them to. Just hang in there, a year from now nobody will ask how long it took, they´ll just be impressed and you´ll be fit!

:iagree: with LaMa (again :D ) I was about to say almost the same thing. Hope you are feeling OK Mystic xo Cate

Thanks guys. It 'seems' like a lot, but most of the first week's weigh in was water weight. I'm not unhappy, and I think with all the exercise I will be doing to prepare for the Tough Mudder will get me pretty sculpted I think.
Thought I was gonna have a crazy busy day at work today, thankfully it ended up being not too bad. Had half an enchilada for lunch. Went to the barn and rode my horse.
Came home, had a couple pizza muffins for snack (which I have now run out of, so need to make again. They are a nice quick light cal snack). I then headed down to the gym and did my Tough Mudder Circuit training. Such a tough workout, especially when the pants I was wearing kept falling down!! Don't get too excited, I bought them too big, I didn't shrink that much. Those will not be workout pants anymore. They are nice right now as 'tights' under skirts or dresses as they are loose enough they don't give me horrid muffin tops.
Ugh, it is not pleasant having to watch myself workout. The fat, ugh, it just shakes and jiggles so bad! Can't wait till that goes away!
I had my Spicy Chicken Soup for supper, then French Toast for snack.
Finished up my cals at 1376

Thanks guys.
My hiking got cancelled tomorrow, it's a bit cold for hiking right now, plus something else came up for the friend I was going with.
Didn't sleep in much today surprisingly (got woken up by a text and couldn't fall back asleep.
I went to the gym and went on the treadmill. I really thought that I would be doing maybe 2-3 min run intervals because I really have not ran in a long time. But I guess the couple days of circuit training and biking already helped me cause I ended up doing 9-13 min run intervals (with 1 min walks in between). I ran most intervals at a speed of 4.6, the last interval at 5, and the last minute a sprint at 7. A total of 3.7 miles (5.95km), Took 50 mins, burned (supposedly) 476 cals.
Boy was I sweaty! Haha, but found it so much easier than I thought. I forgot my ear buds so instead of watching whatever I want on netflix on my phone, I had to watch home reno shows on the tv's at the gym (with subtitles).
Had an omelette and french toast between 12:30 and 3 when I got ready to head to the barn for my riding lesson. Had a pretty good lesson.
Had a bit of a worrying time on my drive home. I had called my mom on the way to the barn, but the call went straight to voicemail, that usually doesn't happen. She may not answer but it's very rare. I tried calling her on the drive home from the barn 2 and a half hours later and again it went straight to voicemail. Even if her phone's batteries had drained, she would have plugged it in within 2 and a half hours. I tried calling the home number (which I never use) and no one answered. I tried texting just in case. No return text. I then phoned both my brothers and neither of them knew whether or not my mom had had plans that would have caused her to turn her phone off (like a show or movie). I decided to drive to her house in case she had fallen down the stairs (of course more sinister things were in my mind) or something (she isn't that old, but just in case). Drove there and no one was home and her vehicle was gone. House looked normal, the dog hadn't been fed yet (he usually gets fed at 5 and it was around 6:15) but it's not crazy unusual if she had plans to be out. But I don't have her friends' numbers, I do have a cousin's phone number that I could call to get my aunt's number to see if she knew anything of my mom's whereabouts.
I called my cousin and nearly her first words out of her mouth were 'are you looking for your mom?' My mom was over at her house. And the reason why she wasn't answering her phone is because it had fallen into the toilet so was sitting, off, in a bag of rice to try to dry it out and make it work again. Phew. Crisis averted!

Got home and made noodles with my italian gravy, it didn't turn out great. Not very flavorful unfortunately. I also decided I had enough cals for a naan bread. Unfortunately I left it in the oven too long and it came out rock hard so I didn't eat it.
I had really been craving some baked desert. I had very few ingredients but managed to find a fudge recipe I had the ingredients for. It turned out well, but I'm not a big fudge fan. Especially when it's hot from just coming out of the oven. Too sweet. It would need some ice cream or something cold to cut through the sweetness. I had 2 pieces but felt a little icky after them from the sweetness. Will put them in the freezer and have them as I desire.
I think I'll have popcorn yet tonight and finish off my cals at 1724 cals. This will leave me with 2900 cals for tomorrow to stay in my weekly cals.

Some days are just weird, aren´t they? Great job on the treadmill, I can only gaze at those numbers in wide wonder! Glad your mom was ok, I once had a similar situation where a client didn´t answer door or phone, the neigbors hadn´t seen him in a couple of days... so I had to call in the fire department to open the door (yes, we´re obliged to find out what happens to our senior citizens)... turned out he´d fallen down in the street and been hospitalized directly three days earlier. I was fully expecting him to lie dead behind the couch so hospital was actually a relief! Sorry, didn´t want to creep you out, just wanted to say I understand why you were worried.

You and your calories are awesome by the way!

We actually had something similar happen in an old job. The guy had actually needed an ambulance.

172 this morning.

Am slightly regretting the 3 brownies I had for 'breakfast' (had them around 11:30am) haha. Not the best choice. Have most of my day all planned out since I'm going to my mom's for lunch (have to guestimate cals a bit but get as close as possible) then going to Red Lobster for supper (thankfully you can have Red Lobster on quite a calorie budget thanks to the delicious crab legs!!). Currently I will finish around 700 cals under my weekly goal.

It's funny that even though I exercised 5 days this week, and finished 320 cals under my weekly goal, I feel a bit 'off track' today since I didn't exercise and ate 2595 cals. I almost look forward to exercising tomorrow.
I did go sledding today, but it wasn't for terribly long so I didn't have to climb up the hill very many times so it really didn't count for a lot of exercise. I did jog home but it was only like less than 5 mins of jogging.
After my brownie's for breakfast I went to my mom's house and had 2 mini farmer sausages on buns.
Went sledding after that.
For supper we went to Red Lobster. Had 2 of their biscuits, it comes with a starter caesar salad (I wish that it didn't cause I could use those cals for other things, but it's hard to waste it when you pay for it) then had the pound of crab legs. I also had pop (since my January 'no pop' challenge was officially over). Instead of having my usual 2-3 large cups of pop I had only one.
When I got home I had 2 more brownies.
