Time's a Wastin, and I'm Still Fat.

Forgot to mention that I had 1308 cals yesterday.
Had only one dog to groom today, but it was a big dog so took a couple hours. After that I went to the barn. I didn't ride, I meant to just give him a light work but he ended up being a bit naughty so got a harder work than I planned. Took a lot of time to cool him out.
Came home and made lunch. Made a breakfast burrito.
Went and saw The Imitation Game and it was really good! I recommend it! That was over at 6:20.
Came home and had no idea what I wanted to make. I decided relatively quickly what I wanted but it was something that took so long to make!! I first had to bake my chicken, then mix it with other ingredients and put it in tortilla shells, then bake it again. (Enchiladas) Didn't eat till just before 8.
Ate about 1250.
Again no stinking exercise. Blah.

I'm starting to think that I shouldn't make an official weigh in day because I keep having issues on my official weigh in days of water weight making my weight shoot up. I always seem to have my lowest weigh in day a day or 2 after Fridays.(unless I eat my 'weekend' eating out meal before then) Grr.

I have weigh-in days only when I feel up to it! A weigh-in is official any old time in my opinion. You'll have another drop soon as you're doing so well!

I agree with Cate, give it a few more days, it'll drop. Are you getting veggies in your meals? That might help get things going.

175 this morning.
It's so frustrating that I've been at this for at least 20 days and I'm still not even at my starting weight from last time :( all this work that I shouldn't have had to do. Just gonna keep on chugging though. Just because it's frustrating that's no reason to stay at this fat weight.

Well, probably didn't do great on sodium today as I ended up eating vietnamese for supper. I can see the scale shooting sky high already.
Had as semi busy day at work till about 2pm. Had lasagna for lunch. I took the day off riding since I've worked him pretty hard the past few days. I did go to the grocery store and buy some food. Bought a 1kg ham that I am excited to make. I've only ever made ham once before (aside from like sandwich meat ham or cubed ham to bake into other things) so we'll see how that goes. Planning on it for tomorrow. One of my least favorite things about grocery shopping is when I get home and have to put stuff away. The actual putting away isn't so bad, but I always pound my chicken breasts flat so that they will bake faster when I decide to make them. I also cut them in half so I have single portions if I decide to just do a one meal type thing. So I have to do both those things before freezing them. I also bought tortilla shells and mine always like to stick together so when you take them out of the freezer and just want one, they are all stuck together and just break apart as you try to separate them. Before I freeze them I have to put a bit of parchment paper between each wrap so they won't stick. So annoying.
Again, should have done some exercise. I really want to start back up doing the jillian michael DVD's but still haven't found the energy. My Iron and Vit D pills have apparently not kicked in yet (if they are gonna fix the problem at all)
Watched the movie Atonement today. It'd been ages since I last saw it and I had wanted to see it for a while. My friend has googleplay so was able to download it so we could watch it. It's quite a good movie.
Finished on 1308 cals or something.
I think that after Sunday I might switch my cals to being a daily average of 1700 (so I'd likely eat around 1500 during the week, so I have some extra cals for the weekend). If I'm not losing weight, I might as well eat more and not lose weight, haha. Last time I lost 30 pounds I usually averaged 1800 daily, I think I just wanted to try to speed things up more, but why not eat more when I can eat more.

Ah yes, all the little things you have to do before you can do something simple... But at least you do them and don´t procrastinate until stuff goes bad. I think eating a little more might be helpful with losing weight and even with having more energy.

I forget why you are taking your supplements, but I think you mentioned being overly tired. If so, have you thought about vitamin B supplements? I take one and can really notice a difference in my mood and energy. The boyfriend actually asks me every once in a while if I've been taking them because I tend to get out of the routine at times. And every time he's asked the answer has been 'no.'

Thanks guys. Geez, another supplement! Soon I'm gonna be on, like, 50 pills a day!!
Only 3 dogs today at work so I got off early, had half a enchilada for lunch. Went to the barn, my horse was a bit of a pain during our ride today.
So that ham I bought the other day, decided to make it today. Looked up how long my ham needed to bake for and it said 45-60 mins at 325*F. Ya more like an hour and a half at 350-375*F. So I ate my pasta at around 6:15 and ate my ham at 7:15.
Finished up at 1299. However my high sodium probably won't help me for tomorrow's weigh in.

Ok weight loss this week. Would have liked at least a pound more because I didn't lose anything last week.

Starting weight: 183.5
Current Weight: 174.4 (-3)
First Mini Goal Weight: 160 by March 27
Second Mini Goal Weight: 144 by July 3
Final Goal Weigh: 125

Yea I know that feeling, I haven't lost anything my last 2 weigh ins. It just happens sometimes, at least your weight is moving in the right direction!

I always find when roasts have cooking instructions on them, you usually need to double the cooking time. I've never done a ham, but with things like chicken and beef (chicken especially!!) they're nowhere NEAR done. Don't know who does the directions but they obviously don't cook!

Well, EVERYWHERE online said 45-60 (some even said shorter!) so that's why I was so confused!

Today has been an exhausting day, a good day, but an exhausting day.
At work I had a big bouvier in the morning. He came out lovely

I had a large dog booked in for 8am this morning. 8 rolled around, no dog, 8:30 rolled around, no dog. Another client called, and since my 8o'clock didn't show up I booked it in for today. At 9:50 the large dog's owner (that was supposed to come in at 8) called to tell me that they were running *a little late* but were on their way. I was like 'um, I don't think I can fit you in anymore, I booked in another dog when you didn't show up for your 8am appointment' The lady was like 'oh, you start working on him at 8? I thought I was only supposed to drop him off at 8' Sometimes you just don't know what to say...
Had half an enchilada for lunch.
Worked till 2:45 then headed to the barn as I was going to trailer my horse over to my trainer's barn to have some lessons as she has more jumps and a bigger arena. I had to stop on the way to get the ball on my hitch tightened (last time I trailered I didn't realize till I was done that the ball was VERY loose). After that I stopped at Tim Horton's because I was starved. I really was starving and knew I would be out late with my horse. I got a cheese bagel with butter, and a small fruit smoothie.
Got to the barn and cleaned my tack (I usually never clean my tack, but since I'm going to her barn where people are expected to clean their tack every ride), pulled the trailer around and loaded up my stuff, then got my horse and loaded him. Drove to the other barn, unloaded, and started to tack me horse up. Had a really great ride, some really good moments. By the time I had my horse put away, my stuff put away, parked my trailer, and started to head home it was 8:15pm. I really debated upon picking up a footlong at Subway, or having the ham I made the other day and some side. I really wouldn't have been unhappy with myself for getting subway as it would have only been a couple hundred more cals than what my ham and stuff was gonna be.
I decided upon my ham, mostly because I didn't want my ham to go bad before eating it (still have a couple more servings left), and I was too lazy to get out of my car to go into subway.

Ate at about 9pm. Finished up around 1400 cals.
Feeling so exhausted. Everything feels heavy and tired. Can't even sleep in tomorrow because I have a riding lesson at 9 which means leaving my house at 7:50. Ugh.

That ham looks lovely. The dog too, but I´m more hungry than huggly right now. Good job on avoiding the sub! Calories or no calories, homemade stuff is best.

Woke up at 7:40 (aka. way too bloody early!!!!) to get to my riding lesson. Got there and tacked up my horse. Had a really great lesson, it helps that my horse was a little tired from yesterday (he tends to be a little quick and difficult if he's got too much energy). Had some great jumps. After I put him back in his temporary stall I got my trainer's horse tacked up and rode him. OMG that horse takes a lot of effort to ride!!! It's huge and bouncy, but you have to squeeze so hard with your legs to keep him moving forward nicely! My arms are tired and stiff from riding my horse, my legs are tired and stiff from riding my trainer's horse!! I was sweating and red in the face by the time I was done!
Afterwards I quickly cleaned my trainer's tack, then went and hooked up to my trailer. Loaded all my equipment into the trailer then my horse. I'm getting much better at manoeuvring my trailer so was able to get out of the tight parking lot pretty easily. Drove back to my barn and unloaded everything. It was so nice out that I decided to leave my horse unblanketed, I hope that was a good choice (he has a nice winter coat, but parts of him are shaved so he can't warm himself as much as he could without the shaved parts). I then had to do some fancy manoeuvring to get it parked back in it's spot. I actually did quite well and was able to park quite close to the next trailer (so another trailer can fit between me and the trailer on the other side).
After unhooking my trailer I drove to my mom's place and gave her back her vehicle and I got mine back. (can't tow nothing with a nissan rogue). Went home and made myself lunch... what in the world did I have? Oh ya, made pizza muffins!! Geez it took me a bit to remember, I almost had to go check MFP! I made 3 recipes so I have some in the freezer for a later date. Ate at around 2-2:30. Just relaxed until supper (exhausted from yesterday and this morning), Had an orange around 4, then made the same supper as last night.
Still likely gonna have a snack yet tonight, not sure what yet. Maybe popcorn (good bang for your buck with popcorn).

So I ended up going to a friend's house to play some board games. I waa so exhausted (plus my tummy has been temperamental the past few days) I initially said no but they talked me into it. I thought I would feel better after a shower and getting up and moving around. However for the first hour I was there I felt awful. I was yawning so much I was crying and was so tired I felt quite ill. Thankfully the feeling passed and I felt ok. I had some pistachios and a few jelly beans.
Ended up finishing on 1793 cals. Which means I have 2138 cals left for tomorrow to stay in my weekly goal (averaging 1500 a day) I will likely up my cals to averaging 1700 starting tomorrow.

:( meh for feeling crappy, glad you got better. Having over 2000 kcal left for your last day (of the week) when you average 1500 kcal is quite a feat!
