Time's a Wastin, and I'm Still Fat.

Surprisingly did pretty well today. I didn't really want to go out today as I have my official weigh in tomorrow and really want a good number (as good as it can be right now), but my mom wanted to take me out for my bday. But I made a great choice. Went to Red Lobster, had a pound of crab legs (crab is my fave seafood), 2 biscuits, and a side caesar salad (only ate 3/4 of it) AND shared a cheesecake with my mom, and easily stayed under my cals (1251). High sodium so that likely won't play nice with the scale tomorrow, but at least I was in my cals, that way even if tomorrow's weigh in isn't great, hopefully next weeks will be.
Went to a home store afterwards and got some hand and dish towels, and other odds and ends. Was feeling pretty exhausted by the day I was heading home.
Trying to chug back some water right now. I forgot my water bottle at work when I left for the barn so couldn't drink any then. Had some at the restaurant but it's hard to say how much since they kept refilling it and it had a lot of ice in it. So want to finish the big glass I have, plus one more.
My horse was good today. Gave him a 45 mins work.
I'm definitely not going to be working out today.

I raise my glass (of fizzy water) to you :) Enjoy your birthday and may the coming year bring only wonderful things.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Great job treating yourself while staying within your limits. I hope you have a great weigh in.

Happy Birthday Mystic!!!

On a video kick today for some reason. Nice job staying within cals on a hard day to do so. Good luck on the weigh-in.

Thanks guys. Unfortunately got no love from the scale this morning. Posted a big fat zero for weight loss this week. Hopefully next week will make up for this week.

Starting weight: 183.5
Current Weight: 177.4 (0) :(
First Mini Goal Weight: 160 by March 27
Second Mini Goal Weight: 144 by July 3
Final Goal Weigh: 125

Ate well today. Ended up a little under 1250. This should give me a few extra cals to play with on the weekend.
Had a really good riding lesson, and got a touch of a workout dragging jump material back and forth. However, no real workout today. Gotta get back out of that rut.
Work was uber frustrating this morning. I had a dog that is just annoying and loud to groom, then when you put him away in the kennel to wait for his owner to come he just barks and barks and barks. Normally barking dogs in kennels is just a little bit annoying (depending on how load and repetitive the bark is) but because the dog already had me on edge it just drove me mad!! I never put my headphones and listen to music while grooming as hearing smallish sounds can be important (hearing a growl, whine, hearing if someone comes in the front door, etc.) but I was so on edge I ran to the front, grabbed my headphones and blasted my music. It really helped me to calm down and it drowned out the dogs barking as much as possible.

My clients don´t bark but I still know exactly what you mean! Some things just grate on your brain and you have to get rid of them or explode. Don´t give yourself a hard time about exercise though, be proud of yourself for getting back on track both with riding your horse and eating better. Rome wasn´t built in a day.

I re-weighed myself after officially getting out of bed at 12 (got up earlier to pee and weighed then got back into bed and was on my computer till now) and now the scale says 174.8. Hoping this continues for a good loss this week!

Thanks Cate.
Like I said, stayed in be till a bit after 12. Got up, and got ready to go to the mall with a friend. Planned my calories for the subway I was gonna have. 6 inch (I ALWAYS get footlongs) sweet onion chicken teriyaki on flatbread, with a bottled water. We were planning to get Yogun Fruz (frozen yogurt) before we left, then never ended up getting around to it.
Walked around the mall for a couple hours. I bought a pair of sweatpants, a new PJ set (though for lounging around the house so when my bird poops on me he only poops on my bird poo PJ's, birds suck sometimes), a workout tank top and shorts, 2 fake jewelry necklaces with matching earrings, face wash, AND I also picked up both an Iron supplement as well as a Vitamin D supplement. If those supplements don't help my constant colds and fatigue then I don't know what will!
After the mall we went back to her house and watched "What About Bob?", played a little on her Wii. She made hamburger soup for supper. I had one bowl of mostly broth (since I'm picky about veggies).
Since we didn't have the yogurt I had initially accounted for in my cals and my supper wasn't much calories, I actually stopped off at a gas station and bought myself a big chocolate bar. 370 cals worth of chocolate bar (Cookies and creme). If it wasn't so late I would have probably had something else yet, but it's 10:30 already so I probably won't. Finished the day at 1240 cals or so.

I didn't ride or exercise other than a bit of walking around the mall, but I did get in 8 glasses of water.

Sounds like a fun and relaxing day, the kind of thing to recharge your batteries. Hope it worked!

Was lazy as usual on a weekend morning. Stayed in bed till after 11:30 (woke up at 10:30 or so then went on my computer) then headed out to the barn. I worked on a jumping exercise that my trainer gave me. Not only did I have to pull all the jumps out I needed (and put them away afterwards), but I also had to get off my horse very frequently to adjust the heights of the jumps. It seemed extremely tiring, but my horse was amazing and we had a great ride.
I then picked up subway on the way to my mom's house. I had initially planned to get Tim Horton's but didn't realize there was not a Tim hortons in the shopping area I went to. Got the same sub as yesterday.
Got to my mom's house and immediately got changed and headed out to go sledding with my nieces and nephews. That was quite tiring.
By the time dinner rolled around I was starved. I think because I didn't eat a whole lot yesterday, plus did a decent amount of exercise today. Luckily I always give myself extra cals for the weekend so even though I had a big helping of a fairly high calorie salad (about 660 cals), a large farmer sausage, and Rhubarb Crisp with ice cream and finished the day off having eaten 2320 cals I was still under my weekly goal by 600 calories.

Here's a super quick video of me and my horse, Elis, from today's school (ie. ride)

Hey Mystic!! Glad you had a good day. Haha, I don't know how you sleep in so late!! Maybe I just can't because of the amount of light that comes into my room in the mornings or something... I'm pretty much wide awake by 6am. A sleep in for me is 7am or later!! I do tend to go to sleep pretty early though because of my husbands work schedule... guess that'd influence it too. Lazy mornings rule though!

Thanks guys.
Today was pretty good.
Had a light day of work. Had lasagna for lunch.
Headed off to the barn to ride. I had such a great ride. Worked on a similar exercise that I did yesterday, so I had to drag a bunch of jumps around, and get on and off to adjust the jumps.
I tried to video tape it as I like to video when we jump a bit higher as it's fun to see. Set it all up and set it to record. After I was done my ride I rushed back excited to see the video AND of course it didn't record!!! The last time I recorded video with it it said my storage was getting full, so I deleted a whole bunch of video to clear it. Well, I keep forgetting that after the new update you now only have to delete pics/videos but you have to delete them from the 'deleted' album!!! So all that storage I 'cleared' was actually still completely full. Wah!
Any ways. On my drive home from the barn I had serious cravings and desires to just pig out. Got home and grabbed an orange and thankfully that satisfied me.
For supper I made myself pizza muffins. I had all the dry ingredients together before I realized that my milk was old!! I really wanted to make them, so I ended up switching in water and a bit of sour cream. They ended up being decent.
Still had enough cals to have a thing of light buttery popcorn and a granola bar.
Got in my 8 glasses of water.
