Hi Dubyah - wow, your thread is jumping!!..lol. You're such a great motivator!! Congrats on the 4lb - Fantastic!!!

I wish, when I was 12ish, someone had told me how to take care of the pudge the right way. I thought I was soo fat, but looking back it wasn't more than 20 or so pounds, a little exercise and some self control would have gone a long way. Yay for educating and motivating - best of luck to her!!! :D:D

lol i had blue too, but blue fades to a dirty grey and then i can never put any other colour in it without heaps of bleech or other crap.

I did toy with going natural for a bit, but yeah. Anyway much less grumpy now ive had my coffee. and im actually subscribed to about 150 active threads, there is just usually 50ish updated each time i look in. takes about an hour or so lol.
 
See - I don't pay much attention to subscribed threads, I just go down the list of new posts and respond to however many I have time for. Hopefully, all you guys are on the first page ;)

Don't touch the hair I love that! Blue is cool but
like you said it fades so does purple I had hot pink and it lasted
a while the vampire red and black did as well.When I did mine this
last time after like 4 washes it started to turn into a puke ugly pink!
So I will stay blonde and do the undernieth black again.

Unfortunatly they all fade, but im not overly fond of ick faded colours.
Well my 12 year old protege has stuck amazingly to her calories. Being so young i wasnt gonna drop them heaps and heaps. Being a kid means shes gonna use heaps up already. But shes totally jumping in feet first. Her mum is helping too which makes it easier. Shes very happy that she got to eat chips, coke zero, and some low cal bikkies her mum made (even her mum is reading labels now lol... who knows ... she may end up loosing some too :)).

Today ive been tired, no idea why I just am. Got a wedding invite for feb 17th. I guess Ill have to go shopping about then to buy some clothes. No point getting em now - they wont fit hehe.
Hopefully my pinstripe pants will still fit enough to wear, then i can just get a nice blouse to go with them.

Anyway off to go sort out dinner and fix peoples computers.

Re the subscribe/thread things. Im to lazy to go through all the threads, its easier to just click UserCP and get a list :D

my vote for favorite hair color was red/yellow......looked like flames, like you were on fire and it was totally cool!!!! but the pink is really nice too!!!!
I was stoppin by to say hey and that I hope your muscles are feeling less sore..........but it is a good sore Eh? Lets ya know your kickin some ass!!! have a good day sister!!!!! lol yeah, itsd easy to loose an hour or so.
My power went off right at the start of biggest loser as i was about to cook dinner. Arg! how annoying!

So yesterday i was at the local burger bar up the road getting a couple burgers for dinner when i saw a local that i had spoken too a couple times. She lived 2 doors down once and she has 4 daughters the same age as my 4 kids. Anyway i said hi and she mentioned she was just gonna plead with the chemist for some pain relief until her pay day the next day.
Apparently she was in the mall last week and got pushed down the escalator . Shes a fairly large woman, at least as big as i was before i started, so it had to have hurt (she had lots of scrapes down her knees). Anyway whilst she was getting up her purse was nicked (probably the whole thing was a setup).
So i said 'look ill pay for the pain relief, we see each other around, its no big deal, you can pay me back." so i went in to the chemist.
The lady asked the chemist for the stuff on tick until she could pay the next day, and he said 'NO', and i said at this point 'no, no i can pay, honest its sweet'. And then she turned around and said 'Oh its for my friend, and now she wants to pay cash'.
I was like 'ummm wtf ... ok whatever'. The chemist got the stuff and said 'are you sure this is for you?' and me thinking this was odd but didnt wanna back down said 'ahh sure' and paid for it.
So we go out of the chemist and i was thinkin that was odd when she launched into the whole 'falling down the escalator' thing again repeating herself. Then she said some other just 'odd' stuff.
I was thinking to myself 'Is she on drugs? shes sure acting weird'. She never turned up today to pay me the money she owes me, though to be honest i never loan money expecting it to come back and it was only $13.
Anyway so im left wondering if i just enabled a drug addict. Though ive met her several times before over several years and shes never been like that at all. Maybe she just happened to be on something this particular time and those were the effects?
Anyway that was just whats on my mind. That an wondering if she is a druggie then what must her 4 girls be going through (shes a solo).
 
ahhhh dude that is weird and being drug and alcohol counselor i'd have to say YES on the drug addicted part.....she manipulated you into doing it, you probally are'nt the first to do it for her.......and the Chemist probally knows it!! If you see her again just be nice and ask her if she is gettiing any help for her problem.....13 is better left alone than to gain pronlems

I understand she was off her nut on something.
My query is more that im wondering if it was a one off that she did because she was on something or is just really good at faking it i suppose. Every other time ive seen her shes been normal and not like that at all i guess.

I was just thinking perhaps she took something and then drank or something that reacted with it ... i dunno. Im not too worried about it, the $13 isnt worth the hassle anyway. If i dont get it back then so be it i suppose.
 
Hey wishes just wanted to say hi....strange story about the drug lady....I had a guy try to sell me a laptop for $20 the other day, Ifigure it was stolen and he was on drugs...That or the thing didnt work...anyhow love the hair! have a great day!:)
 
Wow, wishes...that's some story. I hate to be the pessimistic, but like Star I guess I have to be realistic too...it does sound like perhaps she's an expert at manipulating people in this regard and she took advantage of your big heart. I hope that she seeks help soon...sounds like the chemist knows her well, unfortunately.
