It was a quick pic av for T2 this morning, i think ill get a better one with a coloured background so its not so washed out.
Hard to make an av look good when its that small - then again it hides all the blemishes!

So i had a little trouble sleeping again last night, so i woke with my alarm and went back to sleep (NO GYM GRRR!!)

Ill go do the gym workout tonight after husband gets home. I also have eaten like shit today - barely anything at all (like 300-400 cal for the day).

Im gonna go have a couple pieces of toast now
 
no sleep again? that's gotta be frustrating. Any ideas what could be the problem? Stress?

Hope you get a good nights sleep tonight! Maybe some of that self hypnosis will help :)
 
was just over at star's diary and noticed two things... first your new(er) av which I love.... such attitute girl!

Man if i knew all it took to get comments and people talking was a new av i would have done it ages ago :)

If i do some exercycle every day i sleep - if i dont then i am not tired enough to sleep it seems.
 
Well i got my exercycling in.
I went to the gym just now at 6.30pm and got home at 8.30pm so think i got a workout :D
Its funny because the night time staff dont know me very well, and i lift fairly heafty weights. So i was getting on the leg press with 80kg of weights, and about to do it single legged. Anyway a couple of the instructers started running towards me and stopped just short of me watching me. I was like 'wtf? did i do something wrong? is my technique wrong?' not realizing that they just thought i had to much weights and was gonna hurt myself, or they were gonna fall on me.
Once they realized i was ok to do it i clicked what was going on and they moved off nodding and smiling etc (and i must admit i did get a lot of looks from other guys at the gym). So meanwhile whilst i was mostly oblivious to what was going on around me i did notice a girl on the other side of the gym who was also lugging some fairly decent weights around. Doing walking lunges with 8-9kg in each hand (which is almost as much as me). So i made a point of talking to her later on asking if she had a gym partner or if she wanted to train together sometime. Great motivation and new friends is a bonus! So we got each others numbers and im gonna still do my morning routine and also do an evening one on Tuesdays with her. Turns out shes in a bunch of other clubs and has similar friends which i may get to meet at a later date which is exciting!

Anyway so apart from meeting new people and doing over an hour and half of exercise that was my evening spent :)

Note to self: Must weigh in for Biggest Loser Challenge, and also take updated before/during/after pics

Congrats on getting to the gym, and way to go on making new firneds.. maybe you can join some of her clubbies. I need to work on meeting new people too. I have a hard time just walking up to someone and saying, "Hi! my name is Amy! :D" Always been shy like that... actually I don't think I've EVER done that. Hm...

Well its official , i havnt lost any weight this week.
Ive checked, and double checked. I could kid myself i suppose, but to be honest my food for the last week has been pretty piss poor, and the exercise hasnt exactly been as regular as i would like.
 
yep indeed i intend to.
I shall be cycling to work as often as possible to get my calves into the newer bike before the race. Different sizing means i use different muscles to the ones i have been using. The mountain bike is more of a flat footed motion because its smaller and has smaller cranks, the racing bike is taller and uses more of the calf muscle than thigh so i get cramps a bit.
 
Sounds like your muscles are going to ache for awhile.. best to get that out of the way before the race.. Good Luck!!

Sorry to hear you had a tough week on the scale... I know you'll be kicking some major ass next week though!

Making a new buddie eh?? that is too cool, getting others involved can make a huge diffrence and a little competition is healthy as well:D ;) sunds like you have your cycling all figured out to the T!!! good luck with that, you keep us motivated sister!!!!! have a good one! Ive been lax on the multivits the last couple weeks also amoung other things.

On a brighter note i finally got my cycling jersey, ill have to take pics wearing it. It has pink blue and white with lots of logos of a race i never entered! (it was cheap and new ok!)

Ill get pics later :)
 
Don't worry about losing weight one week! Wishes! You are looking great! I have had to take a rest from working out for two weeks - no gym, no running :( I feel miserable! However, on top of my dodgy back, I now have a dodgy leg - I'm falling apart - remember to do your warm ups kiddies, and don't overdo it like Uncle Ferret!
