Prrimary: Computer Servicing Technology. Secondary: Computer Applications & Security. Two year associates if they they let me double up, if not, three years with a staggered double.

I haven't started yet. I have been busy getting tour and aid stuff together. I have to re-tour again this week or next week for final preparation. Classes start in early September.

I am curious how people treat you also. I really don't know if they treat me better or if my confidence was that low that I just think that!! Hopefully get treated like you deserve no matter your weight. Although it makes you feel so much better about yourself!!

Thanks for the ass-kickin' !! Definitely good advice written here. It falls under the proverbial 'how bad do ya want it' all over again. All this journey I've been fairly comfy with periodic weigh-ins, well I weighed today just to see how bad it was - a gain of 3 lbs.

I could count on one hand how many phone calls and front door visits I had from 1999 to 2006 from someone 'to go do something'. I can get that many in one day now. I am the life of any party - funny tho obesity changed all that.

I suck up the acceptance like a sponge and not in a begrudgingly way either. I don't hate that 'they' abandoned me when I was fat because I abandoned myself. It hurts a bit we have a superficial society but it is what it is. I'm clearly accepted because of my (improved) physique largely but also my appearance too. I'm very self-conscious, I wanna dress good, smell good and converse good (at least in the sober state lol !!). I leave the house looking confident.

Look, I don't think I'm 'all that', somethings just can't be changed nor need to be but I do the best I can with what I got to work with. People perceive my aura. I mean for that to happen. I'm pleased it's working.

It's probably how people don't treat me now that's the big pay off. The looks of disgust I don't miss one iota. I'm not sure you will totally understand this, Val. Maybe you think you can but until you've lived it, you'll never know how rotten people can treat the really obese with body language, mannerisms, grunts and sighs. Those are the people I mutter under my breath 'blow me' to now.

That sounds like you. I'm glad you're having a blast, because that's what life's about! And I understand about the superficial society. I hate the way people treat obese people and talk about them. Although, sometimes it IS astounding to view a person who is truly enormous. Shock is one thing--derisive behavior is another.

Part of the reason why I love this place is that "fat" people are the underdogs. And no one wants to listen to them--or have anything to do with them! WHY?! For fucking asthetics? C'mon! I love this place, I feel very close to a lot of people on here. Maybe I'm a sucker, because anybody could be lying. But I'm obsessed with a happy ending, and I like yours best of all so far .

From the 'back to earth tour', I stayed home last night and remained suds-less (that pretty much sucked). I ate well and reverted back 'month one' style habits. Today I took a 7 mile trail walk in mid-90 degrees heat. I'm pretty drained and sore at the moment as I sit here re-hydrating with chilled watermelon chunks (no grain mind you) I cut up yesterday.

I think tonight is going to be a repeat and I'm probably gonna piss off my 'gf' (for lack of two better consonants) again cuz she's a barfly. I just know this is going to end our fling. Oh well, this will make the STD discussion evaporate *shrugs*
