This ongoing Rolloercoaster needs to stop!! No more free rides!!

Glad to hear the eye is doing a little better. Good work with the water yesterday too!! I can't imagine doing it all on little to no sleep every single day - I'm really not looking forward to that part - I love my sleep!
You should totally travel to Canada - it's gorgeous! You should take a camping trip and travel around Ontario or BC is really gorgeous too! Actually my favorite spot so far is Lake Louise just outside Banff which is about an hour drive from Calgary. If you ever get a chance you should totally jump on it! There are so many places I would love to travel to - we are going to be planning our honeymoon soon and I can't wait to check out the options.
Keep it up this weekend! That's going to be the hardest test for all of us! I know you can do it!

Oh, yes, I really want to visit. We have our passports already, and now I have to save so that I can get passports for my boys. We haven't really decided our plans, but there was a cream that was sold only in canada that I ordered for my son's eczema, and I have this bright idea to just go there and buy a box so it doesn't cost a fortune to order it offline. Now the doctor has given him something that works but I still want to go. We visited Manhattan NY a few months ago, and my bf was talking about how the border wasn't no more than a few hours away and we should just go. We debated about needing passports and I knew we did as of I think last year or something, and I was right of course. My co-worker takes trips there every year to hike and she talks about it and has pictures. Thanks for the options, I am definitely going to check it out!

As far as sleep goes, I am so missing it! I'm hoping he'll tire himself out really good today and give me a really good nights sleep tonight.

I have a huge bottle of water today that I am working on now, 50 oz. It will prob be gone by lunch, and then I'll have to use the water machine, so I'm getting it done. I'm really staying on myself for this weekend, so Monday I guess you guys will know how I did with all that. Thumbs up to you, best wishes for a perfect weekend!

Update from the weekend.

Okay friday night I had a sip of a drink (experiemental) but I didn't actually have a drink. Hope that makes since. My ex fiance, who has been hanging around alot which I don't object to because we have children, works part time in a liquor store and they have to taste nearly everything that comes through there, and they mix and sample and things of that nature. So he brought these bottles over and mixed the drink and asked me to try it with him. It was tasty, but I'm glad I wasn't in the mood to drink. He is really trying to work things out with me, but I am just trying to stay focused right now on my weightloss, and transformation. We had nine years together, and I chose not to marry at the time because of still going to college. We always had and still have fun, the sparks never died, but now, I feel he really needs to feel what it is like to be on his own and without me. Am sure many of you know what I mean when I say that.

Saturday, I woke up late, went to McDonalds and got some of their fruit and berries oatmeal, and got the kids happy meals. Yes, that is right, I resisted temptation and went with a healthy choice. I didn't eat very much saturday, and I did have one drink. I drank alot of water, and ate fish and veggies that were leftover. I took a much needed walk both friday and saturday.

Sunday. Picked up my babysitter for the summer and my children. Took them swimming to the pool for an hour and a half. Ate salad, later some chicken tenders. Drank 60 oz. of water. Grilled some steak, and ate with salad and macaroni salad. Drank some tea (caffeine craving). Did 20 minute workout of Turbo Jam and then Jogged around the corner to the store, walked home.

I think that is about it. My recollection of the weekends can be really brief because I go and go so much, that I have to bring back the key points that are important. I don't forget my weekends, but I can forget to eat alot of the times, therefore I really have to think back on what I actually ate. I know I shouldn't skip meals, but it is not on purpose. I'll update on today later.

Yea, I even ran up and down my apartment stairs 11 times carry various items and walking to the dumpster and everything, so, I am moving definitely. I really hope your daughter gets better w/o her paci. My son always throws his, he could care less about it. It's more other family members were giving it to him because he was crying with them, but he has his picks, and if he doesn't deal with you, then he doesn't, so it is pointless. My baby slept fairly well last night besides one wake up that took him having to sleep with me to get him to stay sleeping. I guess that was the magic formula last night!

I'm really tired and sluggish today. I have lots of cravings, and they are cooking cheese steaks down in the kitchen. I just want to put my head down and sleep on my desk. My sleep was broken up last night on top of the fact I already had worked late to make up time. I'm working 3 hours over today to make up for a day I missed and I'm not sure if I'm going to make it. Coffee has done nothing for me today. I ate special K last night instead of the dinner I planned because I was just so tired, thank goodness my little cousin was home with me to help out. The baby woke me at like an hour before I needed to get up, and he wouldn't let anyone put him back to sleep but me, so I had to deal with that, then try to catch up on my rest which never happened. When I'm exhausted like this, there are so many temptations and cravings. I also feel lazy and don't want to move. My boss is off today and I really don't have to. I just may need to take a nap on my lunch, and see if that helps me, although that is two hours away. Right now I'm thinking about that honey bun in the machine right now and how good it is.

The powerplant on the compound is on fire right now, and I am hoping they'll send us home.

Drink some water - I know it doesn't sound as good as that bun but it will make you feel better rather than just more tired! You did great over the weekend and I'm sure once you get some rest you'll have that drive back. I know those tired cravings all too well and they don't make you feel less tired or better about yourself so stay away!! You can hold off till lunch just keep drinking water!! I would take that nap on your lunch too - even 20 min of peace might make you feel better. Wish I could help more. I think you are doing great though and don't want to ruin it today because of lack of sleep! Stay strong girl - you got this!!

Hey Njoyabl, I know the feeling. My 18 month old is recovering from an ear infection and hasn't slept well in about a month. When she's just a little whiney I let her cry it out until she falls back asleep but when she's really up and very fussy, I have to get up and get her. My husband really should get her because he is off work all summer but he swears he don't hear her. Try to fight your honey bun temtation. It's just empty calories, it may wake you up for a minute but minutes later you will just be sleepy and hungry again. I know how you feel though, they have my fav donuts in the break room today:Angel_anim: and I'm trying my best to be an angel and not cheat. I hope you have a great day and get some much needed rest tonight.

Hey!!! I know how you feel I was awaken at 11:30, 12:30, 2:30, 3:30 and then at 4 I gave up on sleep! We can stay strong and not consume surgar! We both know how it goes, you exausted you eat the surgary crap you feel the buzz for about 10 min then comes the crash then you feel crappy and crave more surgar! Can you walk around the office and strech a bit, I go sown to the wash rooms and strech....if you can nap a bit at lunch it might help too!!! Good Luck Stay Strong .....Save you money don't buy the over priced crap in the machine...stay away!!!!

Hey Njoyabl,

Hang in there hun, don't give into all of those temptations, they will just make you overly full and more tired- and probably make you upset with yourself. You are so incredibly strong, you have a lot going on at work and with the baby but you always stay strong, I really admire that about you! You will get through the day, just stop looking at the clock, go for a walk maybe to wake you up a little. Maybe have some fruit of veggies to snack on just to have something to chew, or some gum? Stay stong, you'll get through the day.

Thank you for your words of encouragement, it has been a rough day, and I didn't eat the honey bun. I have been drinking lots of water, but I find myself pumping coffee also. I took a nap in my car, and feel better. I should have been going home 13 mins ago, but instead I'm here for ANOTHER three hours. Cross your fingers and toes for me.

Hey, thanks for stopping by! Yes, my son is 7months, and we found out that he is allergic to the Gerber cereal, and it was making him itchy and dry because of the milk protein. I put him back on Beech Nut, but all the stores in my area are discontinuing it except WalMart, and hopefully they won't. So he has started to wake up again, and even his father couldn't do anything with him. He just cried, and cried, and cried, and need I say more? Once I got up and held him, and rocked him, he calmed down. He is so stubborn and knows what he wants, and won't stop until he has it. I need to adopt his attitude for this weightloss thing, I'd probably be there by now! I will have to explain what I did snack on in my updated post, but I DID NOT EAT THE HONEY BUN! Thanks again!

Yes, I so need to save my money and not waste it on that junk! I was too tired and it is cold in the office, so I walked outside and took a nap in my car. I'm back now to do the remaining 3 hours of time I have to make up. What a day.

Thanks so much Janvier! It's nice to know that you believe in me! I totally admire you. I did have a good amount of fruit today, but check this out, my veggies were stolen! Isn't that crazy?! I'm trying to eat clean and am sabotaged by my own co-workers.

Someone Stole your vegies????? Can't beleive that would happen! Wow at least you got a nap you can make those 3 hours I know you can. I am hoping your baby boy sleeps well tonight. Now I know why my mom stayed home after having kids lol!!!! Not an option we really have today. I am sending you positive good night sleep to you and the little one he probably needs it too!

And, the REST of the STORY.......

Tired? Still, but better.

Happy? Heck No!!! And here is why:

True to my word, everyday at lunch I have been bringing my own salad, topped with fresh delicious veggies, and then I go to the dining hall and get some sliced cucumbers and carrots, and an apple, and banana for extra coverage to keep me away from the snack machine and keep me satisfied. Today, I went to go eat my lunch, and it was gone, along with my food I got this morning! WTF! You know that I am heated, like hot frying crisco in a pan!!! These people from these other departments, whomever it is are a disgrace and I just got finished leaving a very nasty note on that refridgerator. We used to have our own, but even though it was locked up back here in our department, after hours the officers would come back to look at files, and some of my other co-worker's food would end up missing. Somebody is going to probably report that note on the fridge, and they are going to ask who posted it and i will proudly stand up and tell them I did it, and I will tell them that it makes no sense and something needs to be done about it. People shouldn't be taking food that isn't theirs, and a memo should be sent out around the institution about it.

So after that, what was I supposed to eat. I ate my banana this morning. I decided to eat my apple. Duh, not full. I had to break down and get a cheese steak from the dining hall. They serve seriously only carbs. So my choices were cheese steak, wedges, and I don't even remember them having a vegetable today. I ended up just eating a piece of the bread, and then just ate the meat out of it. Later on I ate some kettle corn, that came from the snack machine, but at least it was popcorn and not some heavy cake.

I ended up taking a nap in my car, say like an hour. My boss isn't here, and the back up boss didn't mind being as she knows my situation, so I was ever oso greatful. That's the end of this, I'm just pretty sour about this day, and cannot wait for tomorrow to be a better one.

That's disgraceful! I can't believe someone stole your healthy food - who would do such a low thing?!?!

But well done for at least trying to stay on the straight and narrow and as a mother, I understand fully just how exhausting being up for most of the night - I went to work some days on 2 hours sleep...YAWN!!!! keep going though, the weight will come off with perseverence, your little one will go through this phase and come out the other side sleeping again...and someone will probably keep stealing your veggies...oh well...in the words of the immortal and rather large Meatloaf: 2 outta 3 aint bad!

Thank you.

LOL! They better not!! What I should have done is write my name all over it so that nobody wants to take it, because they wouldn't be able to pass it off as theirs. I started doing this with my water bottles, and nobody touched them, dang, it's a shame, and I'm still mad. But you are right, 2 outta 3 ain't bad! Bring it on!

Hi njoyabl,

I work shift work in a power plant and everyone usually leaves something in the fridge now and then (with hopes it will be there on there next shift).

I had a coworker who liked to rummage thru the fridge and pick at what others left.
One day he looks at a huge new brick of cheddar cheese (his favourite) and says..."Ohhhhh....my favourite..I wonder who left this in there?!!"

To which I immediately replied..."It doesn't matter who left it in there, all you need to know its not yours!"

I think I hit a nerve with him cause he repeated it and the sense that it made. He never touched anybodies food after that...but he did make a point of repeating my saying whenever he opened the fridge! lol

Something else I had to do to fend off the fridge theives....we have a full kitchen so we can cook pretty elaborate meals. Unfortunately, (the seagulls I call them) always used my butter that I brought in, and never replaced it. So...I would put a pound of butter in a old opaque container and label it with something gross sounding like "Turkey neck soup" or "giblets and rice".
Nobody even peeks inside when they see them labels.

Hope you have a better day tommorow!
