The Time to Hesitate is Through!!

Bridget! Hop back on your Wii-Bitch and go for it!

:smilielol5:

:grouphug: *hugz* Lady

I have been there. You have been doing really well and self destructive is not what you are in the slightest! Again you have been doing awesome! Don't let these two days get you down, just put them behind you and keep on trucking. Tonight I am trying to give myself 10 reasons not to eat some salt/fat/carb thing over 700 cals.:svengo:

Don't be too hard on yourself *hugs* Think about what you have been doing well, and like jjjay said, hop back on your wii-bitch and grab a celery stick :D You will do this! *hugs*

Thanks so much...

Thank you everyone, I never expected so many responses! Especially responses that make sense! :blush5:

I am back on the horse... Just a bit bummed because my next weigh in for the April challenge is on Thursday, and I don't think I've made any progress...

...and I won't make any progress if I keep thinking like that!
SNAP OUT OF IT!!

I am going to rock me some new lifestyle changes!!

P.S. Honestly, if it weren't for all of you... Your support has helped me take the route back to healthy choices. This is usually the point in my weight loss efforts where I give up, but you really have just helped me so much... I can't even put it into words, and I can put EVERYTHING into words!

Like someone said earlier, we didn't get fat in two days. We also can't break life-long habits in a week. Our goals for getting healthy is really just us making new habits. It takes time :) There's absolutely no reason for you to stop now, you've been doing fabulous!

hey bridget :)

Looks like great minds think alike... and eat a whole lot at easter! I read your post while i was on a complete downer about eating too much yesterday but there is nothing that we can do about it now! The choice was made, the food was eaten and the most improtant thing now is not to think that everything is ruined! It was a blip and we need to get back on the wagon and not get tempted to go back to old habits! Lecture over (altho that was as much for me as you!)

You have been doing soooo well and i think you will still see a difference on the scales this week - two days of high cals will not put on all the weight that you have lost so far! Keep going and get back on that bloody Wii....what happened to it being your bitch?!

x

Oh I'm not gone!!! Just trying to dig out from under a pile of all you can eat Chinese buffets... :puke:

Plus, I'm unbelievable busy with some evil classes I'm taking at the moment, UGH! I will be back as soon as I can, without having to repeat Anatomy and Physiology II!!!

Buffets are bad!!!!! Get back into the game girl, make that wii your bitch again! I know it's easy to get discouraged but you feel SO much better when your succeeding. We know you can do it!

Come on girlie! Don't give up all the progress you have made! Don't make us come there and :smash: some sense into you lol. Chinese food is the devil though! I used to eat it at least once a week, but sadly have not had one bite in two months. When I reach my goal weight I will definitely have to reward myself with my favorite entree though.

I agree with disneymom. Chinese food is the devil! Devishly delicious! My weakness is general chicken, oh god how I miss it! When I do get chinese I just get steamed chicken and broccoli and I ask for some of the sauce they use on general chicken on the side. Its a treat.

Come update us! I hope you are still with us on this journey!

But why does it have to be SO HARD to resist!!!

:nopity:

because it's a lot easier to give in. Even if you feel guilty about it. Just think about that feeling you had when you saw the numbers go down though, or how great it felt making healthy decisions!

However giving up will just make you feel worse in the long run. You were seeing great results from the changes you make, don't let food be your outlet for stress or overwhelming emotions. Find a replacement for food. There's plenty of things you can do instead of food! Go for a walk, paint, read, sing, dance, watch a movie, take a shower, write... there's so much you can do! You just have to find what works for you.

How about making your own chinese food at home?? There are alot of cook books out there and you can modify the recepies to make them lower in fat , also since it's home made there will be no MSG, a lot less salt and beleive me home made chinesse food taste so much better then the crap they have in the buffet...ever since my mom started making her own I am unable to eat the restaurant one! My husband and his familly are big fans of the chiness buffet so I usually fill up on the salad bar first and then go around the buffet table and take little portion of what looks good (in my case easy cause I don't really like it but just tought this could help)

Come on Lady, GET BACK INTO GEAR!!!! Don't give up. The only one you're letting down is yourself. Here's a bunch of motivational quotes that I wanted to share with you. Girl I know how hard it is. I started this journey at 304 pounds. I was depressed, miserable, embarrassed to go out, I couldn't goto amusement parks, I couldn't live my life the way I wanted because of how ashamed I was of myself, I wouldn't allow myself to enjoy life.

I've fallen off track plenty of times, but falling off track isn't what's important, GETTING BACK ON TRACK IS WHAT MATTERS!!!! Any normal person that is on a weight loss journey struggles with it. You're not alone on this journey. Giving up wont get you anywhere. Just keep pushing yourself. No one said this was easy.

And here are those quotes I promised:

That which is bitter to endure may be sweet to remember.

The difference between try and triumph is just a little umph!

The first and the best victory is to conquer self.

he man who can drive himself further once the effort gets painful is the man who will win.

The sovereign invigorator of the body is exercise, and of all the exercises walking is the best.

We must accept finite disappointment, but we must never lose infinite hope.

You must begin to think of yourself as becoming the person you want to be.

Eleanor Roosevelt
You must do the thing you think you cannot do

You don't drown by falling in the water. You drown by staying there.

I thought about just running away, but I still do really WANT to lose weight. I know my actions the last 2 days don't seem to show that I want to become more healthy and active... But I do! I really do!!

So I'm getting back on the wagon. I have avoided the scale AND Wii Fit for the last few days because they're both equally scary judges... I know I can't avoid seeing the damage I've done forever, but I'm just not going to look today.

Why am I so self-destructive!!! :banghead:

Tell me about it. I'm back on track, but I still had fast food the past three days and I noted it in my diary *cringes* I also gained weight and had to note it. But this week I'm losing weight dammit!

Lady! I hope you come back, I miss your updates. At least pop in to say hi! Hope to hear from you soon.
